@WhoosierGirl ever tried manual gears?

I try every now and then, and it ends up frustrating me. Slower street cars I can do ok when shifting but, with racecars trying to shift throws off my rhythm. I am getting better at it and I do practice when I do the A-spec seasonals.

My right and left hands are already busy and my right foot is multitasking like crazy so adding anything else creates a system meltdown, lol. I have all the respect for all of you that can shift and left foot brake, I struggle badly with it.

Reading this thread it start to seem like competition of compliments rather that TT thread, so I though I'd jump in :D

First of all there's couple of things I'd like to share with @GTP_CargoRatt it really was you whose posts I started to pay attention visiting this forum something like a year a go, it was you who opened my eyes to this TT grind and how doing insane mileages on every TT will eventually lead to better and better results, it was you whose tunes took me first time in top 100! It also was in your tune that took me top 50 first time, remember me complimenting you over PSN thanking for all the inspiration you have given me and for the tunes you'd but up to these forums helping me and many other people!!! Going back year a go you were full of positiveness, sharing it around pushing everyone to do better and better, but seems like after GTA you somehow got your head stuck between your ass cheeks and it has been there ever since, all I see coming from you is mostly negative, people try to compliment you and thank you for all the effort you have done in these forums rising guys like me and my good amigo senor @IBZ6L20VT from the dust to all the way up to top 100 players. Of course it takes a lot from me and @IBZ6L20VT to make it there, I mean just like @SW__10 said that it really is you and only you who's taking that car around the track, but you should never underestimate the effect you have had to me and many many other guys (and girls) here at forum. Giving people inspiration (witch you have obviously done) is really a rare talent, you did it trough being positive and never giving up. So it would really be great if you accept this compliment and take it seriously and believe what I'm saying here!! In other words, would you please start pulling your head up from your ass and stop being so negative, it really doesn't take much to be pessimistic but it's a great talent if you can "swing it around" and find positiveness in everything, and I actually call this making a "mental magic trick" where you just find something positive about everything and just hang to that positive though, for example, if I walk down to street thinking "I'm really handsome man" keeping my head high, people will look at me and say "there goes good looking guy" but if I roam the streets thinking "I'm worthless peace of 🤬) people look at me and they think "there goes worthless peace of 🤬) and it's really as simple as that, it's all about attitude!!! So do yourself a huge favor and start concentration on what is positive, and forget that negative attitude!! It would be a lot easier to me again to respect you like I did half a year a go, but first I would really need to see you respecting yourself!! It's really like they say "what goes around comes around" and if I'd go around throwing negativeness around I wouldn't except nothing more in return!!!

And yeah, I really do think you're really talented driver, it just seems like you have forgotten it in some point

Stay fast my friends  do you still remember that guy? I do

At this point I am thinking of starting a new thread: "The thanksgiving thread".

Without going that far (the ass thing ), I mostly agree with @ODB in the sense that @GTP_CargoRatt must be get out of the cave and be amongst us here, in these very forums, as he used to be. As @ODB stated, he was a great impulse to many of us, and encouraged by his words we pushed ourselves.

For me, receiving that kind of virtual tap in the shoulder from some of the best tuners an drivers out there was important.

get out of the cave and be amongst us here
Pulling your head out of ass and crawling up from the hole are exactly the same, maybe just a bit nicer way to say it though, I give you that much
he was a great impulse to many of us, and encouraged by his words we pushed ourselves.

Yeah, and it's a great gift to people he has given, he has given a piece of himself to us. It's just mind boggling how hard it is to him to see that and be proud of himself, I mean there's a lot of great drivers and tuners here at the forums, but single guy giving inspiration to so many is a rare thing!! Be proud of what you have achieved @GTP_CargoRatt honestly. be very very proud  and I would honestly like to say this all to you over a glass of brandy. face to face, but that's quite difficult at the moment so this will have to do!!!

Psychology implemented and results successful 💡

Well at least it helps me a lot to view things as positive as I can, I mean sometimes it doesn't really matter how good of a lap I make on a TT, I always know I could have done better, so I really have to almost force myself to be content with the result I have gotten, it was the best possible result I was able to do and as long as I feel that I have done everything that was in my power for my result, I have to be content!! I mean hell, I would have stopped this grinding long time a go if I didn't have any tools to be positive, you know it can be bit hard to see yourself 2 seconds behind world leader after something like 3000km on the track!!

I know how much you like to be on top but, sometimes you gotta let a girl be on top and finish before you, lol.

This was NOT easy to do, lol. Do you have any idea how hard it is to hit a .902 or .903!!!! I must have had two dozen laps a little bit faster and a little bit slower. Not having your blue line to judge was tough but THIS was a fun challenge :)

@SW__10 I tried your setup and did a .492, I thought about registering the time and splitting the cheater guy but didn't want to add a second account to the leaderboard. Amazing setup and if I can stay awake when I get home Wednesday I want to see if I can get catch you guys.

I always thought it was a race and best to come first ;)

Deciding to beat my time by a couple of thousandths... you're just showing off now

And you should post the .492!

Not when the race is less than 2 minutes,

GRRR!!!!!! You just couldn't leave it alone, lol.

I have finished 11th, 21rst and 101rst because of people using multiple accounts before, as much as I would have liked a chance for another top 10 finish I couldn't do it.

Serial multiple account users are irritating, but I think everyone will let you off this once :)

Wow, I didn't know having an opinion of myself could lead to this. At any rate, I'm going to be brutally honest and upfront here. You see, ever since my near fatal car accident 5 years ago when my life dramatically changed for the worse, I have been suffering from severe depression, among other things. I have been in and out of the hospital 4 separate times since then for suicide attempts. I suffer severe pain day in, day out. I am addicted to pain killers. My life is far from what it was before the accident. That drunk driver took everything from me, except for my life, which I sometimes wish he would have also taken. Almost every day is a struggle. Sure, I have good days, but those are few and far between.

At any rate, just wanted you to know a little about me. Sometimes its good to really know someone before you go judging them. Having told my story here now, I don't expect, nor do I want, any sympathy. I just wanted to give you a dose of what life is like for me on a daily basis, its not easy. I see that I seem to unintentionally cause a lot of drama here so for that reason, this will be my last post. I won't come back until/if I get better. So yea, there you go, the hard reality of it all. Good luck everyone, hope you all reach your goals and make your dreams come true. I'm out.

My meaning is not to judge you, I was asking you to stop judging yourself, it really pains me to see guy who really gave me inspiration to hammer himself down on every occasion he gets, and believe me I red before what has happened to you and I can't say I would know what it is like, but I know hammering yourself down isn't going to help. And I really don't have any idea how to express myself in this occasion but my meanings are totally genuine and all positive. Just try to figure out how to regain some positiveness approach to your driving, it's really inspiring to see some guy to shoot for hes goals no matter what obstacles he might face.

But yeah, I'm really sorry if I just made you angry, I was just trying to tell you how great of an inspiration you can be when you are at your very best.

I think we all have hidden struggles Mitch, evidence is all around for those who look closely. I don't really know you, but what I do know is that you're a talented driver, an asset to the community, and I hope you stick around. God-speed to your eventual recovery.

Hey Cargo, you don't get out of here that easy mate. Without you it can get a bit boring around here sometimes.
I think most of us 'old timers' understand your situation pretty well and accept the ups and downs which go with it, crikey, we all have a cross to bear, although for most it's not as heavy as yours.
Like it or not though, many here have improved their racing abilities because of your input, in a number of ways.
Rather you stick around and contribute here mate, you've made some bloody good tunes so far and I expect there are a few gooduns left in you.
Your call but. Cheers.

Finally reached my goal of reaching the .09's with a 1:09,869 (with ds3, ABS1)
With the Toyota, because I can't see the racing freezer anymore.

Many thanks again to @SW__10 for yet another great tune which you shared here :bowdown:
@lisanorm nice to see you changing to MT. Finally I'm having a slight change to beat your times. I'm sure that will be only temporary.

Whoosier if that's Top 10 log it girl, your out of town and its a one time thing. Not sure how much time you have but, you can also start another Whoosiergirl account on your brothers ps3. You won't lose any of your progress, that's linked to your own ps3.

It's unfortunate that misogyny is still a factor, however, it makes it SO much better when a girl beats/embarrasses a misogynist!

Also, "includid"
