What the hell? I dont even know how to cheat in GT4, I worked pretty hard to get all golds and I am proud of it, I cant help it if you cant and have to resort to cheating, I dont know why you singled me out ethier .

 to us then! :sly:

Golding GT4 was so much easier than GT3, GT4 took me 3 days or so, GT3, well i still havnt got all golds for it yet....:dopey:

Do you guys think GT4 was way easier to gold than GT3?

Definatly, i golded GT4 easily, im still 6 golds away from doing GT3....im better at GT4 though so thats probly something to do with it

been a long time since i got GT4 but I took a lot of time off from playing it.....and was at 79 golds for the longest time s-16 being the elusive gold...well i just golded it, i knew i was fast on nurbringring but i would always get my tires off the course and manage to fail, first clean lap since my silver got me the gold :D ! add me to the list! DS2@!!

Hi CFM, noticed you missed my info after adding me to the list. I didn't put it in my original submission due to excitement at hitting the magic 80-mark, but added a post a bit later with my controller & version.

I'll save you going to look for it though! ;) I'm at position 33 on the list.

I'm on NTSC version using a (DF) Driving Force Wheel (not the DFP!)

Am I The Only 1 Who Thinks That Getting All Golds Was Really Easy In GT4?
The Driving Mission Were really Easy to except for 2 of them
I wouldn't say really easy but quite easy. The Suzuka lap in the Motul Z was the hardest to me. The only hard Driving Mission was the famous 34, and that is because of frustration and not because of actual difficulty.

Yep Suzuka lap with Motul Z was hardest for me also, Mission 34 was easy for me (Im real good on the Nurburgring), The GTR slipstream mission gave me some grief briefly but other wise was fairly easy.

Sooner or later, I will be giving it my best shot to get 80 golds. I bought the game, and within 12 hours, I had all golds on B and A, all silver on IB, but after that, just wanted to get the licenses so I could race. I will try my chances at gold on IB soon, hopefully it won't take longer than a day to get it.

Do you get anything for getting all golds on the coffee breaks???

No you don't get anything for them. But how can you leave them? They're fun!!!

I got 35 gold atm damn missions they are sooooo hard how much time did u guys avarage spend? on all licence so i can think about going thru with this,

I WILL GO ON! TO THE 80 GOLD!

Allright, I´m in this too, 80 golds PAL/DFP
And I follow some others here and state that the Motul Z around Suzuka was by far the hardest one to nail. On avarage The others wasn´t too bad, but I did have some trouble with Peugeot around Chamonix. About the missionhall I´ll say it was fairly easy, except 34, with whom I wrestled for weeks!

Radikal
The down side is that you got only 13103 points and 100% complete. :(

yep , ur right , my a-spec is relatively low but now is the time to do some serious

races , :) to raise that mark a dozen thousant more . . . .

it was due to a bet with a friend of mine . . . "who's gonna finish it first" kind of thing

( lots of b-spec races ) but unfortunately he gave up in the middle of the whole thing

lol (. . . loser 👎 ) :ill:

Hey fellas!
Is there anybody from Hungary with 80 license golds?
A few days ago i did it!!!
The last license test of International B (Nissan soxxxxxxx!!!!!!!!! ) made me real angry!!!I was a real loser!!!Please, forgive me!!! :scared:
But now...
I've got left only 1 race to go:La Sarthe II.I want to do it in rotation with my B-spec "pilot" with Pug 905 race car.Have you ever use it?

Finally got my 80 golds last night. I never thought I'd get the Gran Turismo Skyline Race Car, Dome Zero and Ford Model T to complete my garage but I have now!

Finally did it!!!

After finishing the scrooge series I took a break and was about to move on to V8 Supercars 2 but then decided to get the rest of the golds about two weeks ago (only had 23). Didn't play every day but at around 1 hour every time.

:P :P I'm now on my attempt for the all-gold licenses after I got my DFP a week ago. I've decided to trash my old save which was completed using the DS2 (a mixture with loads of silvers and bronze but little gold :indiff: ) so I'm now back to square one. Just managed to finish golding the B License and is now taking a rest after that tough run (at least for me!) with the Skyline Coupe at B-14. Unfortunately I can only get to play GT4 twice a week since I'm not at home for the rest of the days due to my work schedule. Will try my best to get the 80 asap though :P

I'm currently at 54 gold, 26 silver, 0 Bronze.
I'm pretty confident I'm gonna get all gold, now that I've put my mind to it.
In GT3 I never even thought about getting all gold. There where always 1 or 2 tests per licence that I just couldn't do. Now I know though that if you stick to it and spend some time watching the demo's, studying race lines and brake point, etc. you wil eventually get gold even on tests you thought where impossible.

The only tests I still "fear" are the cone slaloms. I really hate those and I know I'm gonna spend forever getting gold on those. I can't believe they actually put 2 of them in GT4. I mean, everybody hated them so they decide to put in even more!

Nice club, I'm sure I'll join you ni it. I'm still waiting for that frickin' pace car driver :grumpy: to learn how to drive the Ring. He's driving like he's scared of every corner or he expects a deer to cross the road any second. Man he's slow, I'm right on his tail from the first fast sector and find myself holding back to not bump into him or pass him in the corners! 👎

I'm on my way!
I now have all gold on all domestic and international licences. All that's left is 12 silver Super licences to turn gold.
The dreaded cone slaloms where actually quite allright. I expected I'd be slaving for days to scrub of the last hundreth of a second, but I actually turned both from silver to Gold in about 1,5hour.
So now it's just the time trials in Super licence left. I actually like those much better than the tests in domestic and international and they beat the hell out of those guided lap runs. What bothered me most about the guided lap runs was not the pace car though, it was the lack of a ghost. It was very difficult sometimes to see where you where losing or gaining time. Especially on Fuji where you had no split times at all! Luckilly Fuji was quite an easy circuit :)
Anyway, I read that Suzuka is a really hard one to gold. I remember it being the hardest one to get silver on too, when I was going for 80 silver :)
Nonetheless I hope to be posting here soon with the message that I've finnally done it.

Done!
As of Saturday 17 december 11.50u GMT I am in the club!
The last 2 tests of the Super licence where surprizingly easy, especially after strugling so hard with the Motul Pitwork Z at Suzuka. The Takata Dome at Tokyo was a handfull as wel. I guess I'm not that good with JGT cars. :dopey:
Suzuka was really hard for me though :yuck: . I was about to give up, 4 golds before the end :ouch: ! But in the end I managed to get about 0.4s under gold time. Once that was done the rest was really easy. I did do some walriding on the snow courses, I must admit, but still.
For the record, I'm playing PAL with a DS2.
Now I'm off to do some strutting. :)
