Loved the physics in that game. Cars actually responded better and felt less grippy in it. Shame my disc broke before I got my wheel though.

Don't forget how public races (for me anyway) was the first car to lose a wheel is the one to come at the back of the pack.

Me and Bazyl did a quick practice before the race. In the second corner I was on the right and he was on the left. We both knew that. Differance was that on his screen, we were side by side. On my screen his front tyre was alongside with my back tyre. We made contact yet both stayed on the track. This means that one of our connections (or maybe both) are too slow. We learn to be careful around each other now. After a big (yet damage free) crash at Montreal because of lag, we're both now much more careful.

I'll join for races 4-16?, if there's space. It's fun racing over here though too, having good lag-inflicted battles with people . How are the drivers over there, compared to over here? Baumi and I have very similar pace in the race at most places it seems, though I do seem to have the edge in qualifying it seems. A lot of other people here are quick as well, though not always. I switched from the Mr S setups to DarkPSI's setups. Much higher downforce, really suits my driving style more. I'm not sure whether or not they're actually faster, they give me a lot more confidence to push the car, which results in faster times for me. I also now have a very good understanding of how 'toe' works, and I now get great turn in.

I figured out where I messed up with the standings. I thought the OP was updated as of Valencia, but it was only updated from Canada. So I'll have to add the points scored in Valencia to the totals of both drivers and constructors championship.

I don't think I'll do that tonight (it's pretty hard to do on an ipod), but I might.

You haven't ruined anyone's race in this series, as this game distributes lag quite evenly. Everyone is affected by everyone equally. I think you should stay, at least in the F1 2011 championships. It's fun to race with you, and I don't think you should quit because of the lag. While in GT5 it can be quite bad, in this game it's not a problem. Everyone is about .5-2 car lengths in front/behind of where they look, and sometimes it looks like they're front wing explodes for no reason Not a problem at all

Only 5th I think got everything out of the lap. And the AI is slow in the first two sectors in Malaysia, I got purple in S1, +a tenth in S2, then .6 off in S3. Liuzzi was 7.5 seconds slower then me

Just search something like 'DarkPSI setups Blogspot' and it should come up. He has a default standerd setup that is quick everywhere except Monza, and if you add him on google+ he'll give it to you. Make small tweaks to it and you'll go a bit faster, and he also has tuturiols on how to setup certain parts of the car.

5-8. 4 AI drivers, two of them determined to kill me. It occurs to me now, that with the rules set to reduced, the blue flag isn't in effect. While it is a rule which all the humans follow, the AI drivers don't. This explains a lot about my first two incidents with the AI, though it doesn't explain my third...

Quali: I set a very quick lap and it was enough for another pole position.

Race: Me and Baumi pulled away from the field and had some great battles. I tried to be cautious knowing how the lag plays a part in it, and we both were fine. I think around lap 15 on the second straight I moved to the left of the track so that Baumi wouldn't outbreak me, and I saw Baumi (2-3car lengths behind me) driving on the grass to my back left. Luckily we neither of us had any problems.
Baumi pit in on lap 25 for primes, an I was going to pit on lap 27 for options, Knowing that if I drove consistently the options would be fast enough for me to win. Middle Sector, lap 27: I was trying to lap Heidfeld in the left-hander that's teken flat out. He moves aside giving me about 1.5 car lengths to pass him on the inside. Then when I'm halfway alongside he turns in on me and rams me off the track, partially breaking my front wing in the process. I pit in for my option tyres, but instead of coming out in front of Baumi I end up 15seconds behind him. Then more happens.

- I set the fastest lap, over 1s ahead of Baumi. My pace is faster then his on low fuel/options and I start lowering the gap to about 10seconds.
- Rubens Barrichello rams me off the track, same as what happened with Heidfeld only two corners earlier. I lose 9seconds. Now 15seconds behind him.
- I catch up to Rubens, and pass him at the hairpin. I'm completely ahead of him, then while I'm still turning he decided to accelerate into the back right of my car and spin me out, I lose a further 5-10seconds. Now 25seconds behind him.
- I realise with a lap to go that I was supposed to be in fuel save mode, and lose 25ish seconds while my car is sputtering to the finish. Across the line in 2nd, 50seconds back.

The AI needs to die. The first two incidents with the AI could've been solved with rules set to realistic/no AI/exteme caution, but my third incident was just insane. It was so insane that even the game knew it was terrible, and Rubens actually got a 10-second time penalty.

- BlacquesJacques, do you really want the AI that badly when we have small numbers, or are you okay with turning them off?
