"The need to know is strong with this one Obi- Wan"Hi again guys`ngirls...I have one, big wish for everyone who post their victories (or failures as well lol) here...PLEASE tell if You used driving aids (Skid rec, active steer, trac control) or not...I`m really dying to know...
The guy (mr GTPVenomZombi) who claims his victory in his Dino for instance...I tried it too, as I got "inspired" The Dino maxes out at 505pp, but it is fast for within it`s pp limit, so I gave it a try...I did NOT use aids except ABS1 - and I did NOT win, despite several attempts...But I DID crash a lot...So off course it would be a RELIEF for poor me, if mr VenomZombi reads this, and telling honestly if he used aids or not...It`s not a shame to use aids in a hard-to-control-car...
OK then I tried my Ferrari F40...Horrible, no win here, even harder to control than the Dino..
Well now I wanted an easy to drive car, so took my M3GTR...In previous seasonals (London and Rainmasters on Spa) the M3GTR was almost too easy to win with, but in this Nordschleife event, I didn`t succeed with it, it made a ton of wheel spin...
Now it was getting very late, and I was a bit frustrated, as I so only had won a couple of times in my beloved Ford GT `05, as I posted here early last night...
I really wanted a win in a different car before I got to bed (late man, late) so now it was time for the Mclaren MP4 12C...
WHEW, did 2 wins with it, so went to bed a little reliefed....
But as I wrote in the opening lines in this post, PLEASE tell whether You used aids or not peoples..I`m dying to know...
TTs now have no SRF so I do seasonal races as I would TT.
1. TC = 0
2. SRF = " OFF " Depending on the car and how low my PP value is in comparison to opposition 👍
3. ABS =1
4. ASM = OFF
5. Active steering = ON ( As I am not fortunate enough to count" ET" , "Alf" or " Dr. Who" amongst my relatives) Someday I hope to be skillful enough to turn it off
My motivation for doing Seasonal races is simple "CREDITS" How do do I make it less repetative and more fun ?
I try different and more obscure cars with less PP than allowed.
My reason for posting my victories is not to brag, but to bring to others attention ( especially those who continually winge that " This seasonal is too easy" or " This seasonal is too hard " or " This seasonal is boring ") what can be achieved and with a bit of imagination you can really enjoy this great game.
My view is " Its your game play it any way you want to, with whatever driving aids you like"
As long as you are having FUN thats all that matters - Oh and a top #250 in the TTs
