Struggling with this so far. Tried tuned versions of the Gallardo, LFA Nurburgring and NSX Type R '02. i think I'll stick with the NSX for now. Best result is second, best time is 7:13.xx, I think I need a 7:05. Using DS3, ABS1 is the only aid.

Same thing I thought and not the first time she's done it, amazing car control.

Holly crap Ken Block style by Pinky Girl. I wanna learn how to do this too because it is so cool to watch! Man i would do this in a race too and people would be like what the beep!!!

Try the MP4-12 tune I posted on the previous page... it's easy to drive and very fast 👍

Keep trying it can be done, although I never want to drive the SRT again, lol.
No aids just abs 1, with SFR and TC1 the car might be more fun but, I had enough, lol.

The Dino is a very good car and can be done without SFR, I did one with it on and then off. Faster obviously with it on but takes away all the sliding smoke I like to make here, lol.

Yes, other than lowering the rear all the way down and changing the transmission for more top speed.

Thanks galaxy woman...Yes the Dino isn`t a bad car at all, I used it for grinding some of the beginer stuff when I started up on GT6...But when one tune it to it`s max (505pp) it becomes hard to handle I think...It`s a fine achievent by You there, especially the one without SRF of cours

Whoosier, when You upload Your replays, is there a tiny chance that You could show us the replay in the socalled "normal wiev" - The one with the instruments on the screen....And set it to ""show all"...That would be a little more "educational" than the "Camera wiev" You show. (Think it`s called "camera wiev" the one with Your pink Porsche)

It would be GREAT and INTERESTING to watch Your Dino replay in that normal wiev, as I use that wiev myself...

-Ask I, who never ever uploaded ANYTHING on the internet anywhere...meeh :sly:

this is THE hardest seasonal event for me... i don't know how to get better really, the best i've gotten was my second try without crashing is 4th with a 95 N1 R33 GT-R

Hey there, try the Nissan concept 2020. It will do the job easy for you. Don't be afraid to push it round the corners, it sticks like **** ** * ******* cheers, Elmer

The best car so far capable of winning. Not an easy win but very fun one to drive, great handling and will do the trick with a good lap. WP_20141020_002.jpg

Managed eventually with the aid of Exeter tune for the GTR BE, Praiano Ferarri 458 & Scuderia.

But this is my favourite AUDI R8 4.2 FSI R TRONIC 07 // 550PP // SPORT TIRES from Mr P who else. More fun than you can shake a stick at!

My tunes are sadly not good enough for a seasonal this tough so thanks guys.

After 25 tries, the best result I got was 2nd place, with F430S '07 stock. Around 7:25. I think I am done this time around...this is too tough for me.

P1 Mercedes-Benz SLR. P2 Corvette. P3 Tommy Kaira ZZ.
Pass For The Win 3 Wide At Tiergarten. Corvette, Tommy and MacLaren MP4-12C '10. No Tune. No Aids. Just A Custom Rear Wing at 100.

Finally got gold, took a 7:08 using the GTR Black edition and ds3, tried the Enzo but couldnt keep the rear planted to the pavement. Took 3-4 hours but i know the track much better now lol

Its not that hard to do. I used to do it all the time racing NASCAR cars at Daytona. While going down the backstretch, I would hit the e-brake and spin around like that and just keep going. It would freak out the people behind me as they would be like, "WTF just happened". :lol: A team mate of mine would practice this where he would be behind me and I would spin around like that, kiss the front of his car with the front of mine, spin the rest of the way around and keep going. :crazy: The crazy stuff we used to do when we got bored. :lol:

Had a quick look here and saw a couple of people recommended the Nissan concept 2020 so did 1/2 dozen or so laps with it but my best was a second behind at the finish.
So had a more serious look at suggestions and decided upon Stotty's,

McLaren MP4-12C '10, along with his 'quick and dirty' tune of course.

Only needed one lap. Took the lead at the 5 minute mark and finished with 6'58.

Thanks for that Stotty. I should mention I forgot to remove SRF.
Felt the 20/20 handled better but even though I was with the two lead cars at the start of the final straight, they both pulled away.
Guess I'll have to try a few more laps with the MP4, with and without SRF.

Yeah your right Dalone. I just grabbed the concept again, because I love driving it, and went again. Some funny stuff going on, I thought. First two laps, top speed of 304-5 kph. Next few laps, top speed 273-5kph. A significant reduction, and for what reason? A couple of laps, did a 7.03, only to be awarded 2nd place behind the Zonda @ 6.58....really? Did an oil change, even though the car had only done 420 k's and ended up winning against the One-77 at 7.04.Once again, a far lower top speed. Quite amazing the variety of results. Don't write the 2020 off just yet, its super cool car around the ring, cheers Elmer.

Okay...I'm sorry it took me so long to get back on my PS3 today. Here is the tune that I used for my GT-R Black Edition. The suspension settings come from @shaunm80 (Exeter's Garage) and his GT-R B.E. tune.

Tires: SS
Ride Height: 90/90
Spring Rate: 19.50/11.00
Dampers Comp: 5/8
Dampers Ext: 6/7
Anti-Roll Bars: 2/5
Camber Angle: 0.0/0.0 (I also used 0.2/0.2 and won) but prefered none
Toe Angle: -0.06/0.02
Brake Balance: I used 5/5 but this is a very personal thing...Use what feels right to you.

Fully Custom LSD
Initial Torque: 9/10
Accel Sensitivity: 9/11
Braking Sensitivity: 6/10
Twin-Plate Clutch
Carbon Drive Shaft
Torque Split: 35/65

Power Limiter: 82.5%
Intake Tuning

Weight Reduction: Stage 3
Carbon Hood
Window Weight Reduction

This should leave you at a weight of 1,386kg with a 52 : 48 weight distribution.
HP = 473hp
Torque = 495lb/ft

Transmission
Install Dog-Clutch Transmission. Default settings should be fine, except Final Gear. I lowered Final Gear to 3.260. I had a race where I ran with the default final gear and the Corvette ZR1 pulled away from me on the final straightaway even though I was drafting him right on his bumper. I've reached 210mph with this Final Gear and some drafting / slingshot at the top of the hill.

If you aren't thrilled with that transmission, feel free to look at some of the well known tuners, if you aren't comfortable doing it on your own. Just make sure you have enough top end for the straightaway.

Just to be certain. My transmission is set to the following:
Max Speed 211
1: 3.224
2: 2.133
3: 1.541
4: 1.169
5: 0.931
6: 0.779

Final Gear: 3.260

Good luck...Again, I'm sorry it took me so long to post this. Oh, one last thing. Don't be afraid to adjust the torque distribution from 35:65 to better suit your driving style. I definitely wouldn't go any higher than 40:60 for increasing more front torque and if anything you'd probably prefer to go the other direction with it. Like to 30:70 to keep that torque in the back. Try it at 35:65 first...

Thank you @ALB123 and @shaunm80 for this set-up.👍👍👍👍👍. This is the closest I have gotten to a win. I have gotten Silver 3 times in a row missing on all 3 attempts at just a hair over 2 sec. behind. @ALB123 I used your set-up with the 35:65 split and your tranny set-up. I used a slightly different gear ratio 3.688. I'm still using my DS3 because my time is very limited due to ministry obligations. On my last attempt i just didn't have enough top end to catch the Vette or the Viper, I was carrying a little too much speed before the last 2 turns so they were sloppy. I have my B.E. GTR power a little different so I have 475 bhp and 489.8 ft-lb torque. I also have different aero as I used the B body Kit and a custom rear wing and no flat floor.

I hope that I'll get another shot before this is over, but I don't know for sure. So thanks again to you both and the wonderful :gtplanet: community. I really miss all of you but I must always keep the Lord first in my life. So God bless all of you. Barnabas

Finally got it.
Tried the cz-3 Tarmac that WhoosierGirl posted...yeah, gave that 2 laps, and while the second lap was a 2nd place finish, I didn't feel it was close. She is really amazing to win with that.
Moved on to the Toyota FT-1, which in the first try got me right on the bumper of the leader at the start of the long straight...but it just didn't have the top speed to keep up...and the gears are non-adjustable on this car...which was frustrating as hell, because a dozen more tries always ended me up in the same spot. Finally started fishing for the competition...no Zonda, no One-77...finally got a run against a Viper and won with a lap time of 7'09"

Never got around to trying the GT-R Black edition...and had my fill of this for the forseeable future. Now I have to go spend the credits I made from like 20 2-4th place finishes...at least that is a silver lining.

Nissan R390 roadcar. Heaps of DF, and with a few upgrades (oil, full suspension, LSD, stage 3 engine) it runs like stink. 80kg ballast, 437bhp. DF set at 300/530.
Won with a Ford GT 05' and a 'Vette ZR1 09'(unsure of the year) up front.

How embarrassing :embarrassed::dunce::embarrassed::dunce::embarrassed::dunce::embarrassed::dunce::embarrassed:

An hour ago I went to try another car, and whilst checking traction control was off, I notice SRF was on... no idea how as I've not used it in any events, so assume it must be on as default? Obviously the lap I posted above is fake as SRF must have been on.

So firstly, apologies for the misleading post!

Given the embarrassment factor, I thought I'd have another go at it, this time without kiddie physics, but with a bit of tuning.

Rabbit was the Tommy Karia ZZ, but even with me trying to run the race as clean as possible (no ramming, no flying up the inside... well, maybe just once or twice), it stood no against the MP4... the car is just crazy fast and sticks to the track like glue :lol:

Lap time; 6'47.302, with a total elapsed time of 7'46.050.

Here's the tune (this is a quick and dirty - nowhere near optimised)

McLaren MP4-12C '10 (new car from dealers, no oil change, no chassis strengthening)
Ride 100 80
Spring 7.50 13.00
Bound 2 4
Rebound 3 5
ARB 5 7
Camber 0 0
Toe -0.10 0.00
Brakes (racing) 5 7
Gears (set max speed to min 1st)
1st 4.413
2nd 3.312
3rd 2.700
4th 2.249
5th 1.936
6th 1.676
7th 1.491
Final 2.237
Diff 5 30 5
Power limiter 77.8%
Custom rear wing @ 100
No weight reduction

Should be 467bhp, 1,350kg, 550ppts

Relieved I managed to beat the previous SRF lap ;)
Is the Set Max Speed is it KMH or MPH, Thanks.

👍

MP4-12 works with the DS3 too... tried it last night (1 lap) without SRF and ran a 6'57.xxx.

Main difference for me between DS3 and G27 is it's so much harder to place the car accurately with the DS3. Making clean passes where you need to just slip by at high speed with 2 wheels on the grass is much more difficult and typically results in enough contact to slow me down.

Is the Set Max Speed is it KMH or MPH, Thanks.

I use MPH, but doesn't matter what the units are as you just set max speed as far left as it will go before setting the other gears 👍

Many Thanks again for the McLaren MP4-12C '10 tune, Scotty it goes around the corners like the car is on rails. :cheers:

They need to make this one permanent, way too much fun. No better places to hook curbs, slide through corners and occasionally spin a fun 360 :)

This one is for @Stotty, I know how much he loves pink Porsches :sly:

Two really fast 4wd cars, the sky can go 209mph and the Tarmac 204 on the long straight.
And the Miura, which I think is the best car to learn how to drive fast with.

:confused: I have a loooong way to go.
This is really "throw the car into the corner", you keep so much speed on the track.
I loose so much speed when braking before corners, amazing.
I'm sure, other members are amazing, but i can't see footage.
In this clip i was wondering "do you use brakes?" maybe a little, but i can't notice in a lot of corners.
Is this how GTP aliens drive? It's amazing.

~~~
I only ever use the DS3, but it is a very quick car. Love this track and know it pretty well too, maybe one day there will be a race here where the MP4 is the best car and you'll post a even better tune. Cheers.
Finally made it after numerous tries and cars with the BMW and @EmaNymton's tune . Messed up the gearbox tune a bit but still worked fine against the two rabbits ( SLR Mac Laren and Viper GTS ) . Passed them at Stefan-Bellof-S around Km 18 . Lap at 7.11 and 2.6 sec ahead .
Will now have a go with @Stotty's MP4-12 tune to see if I can beat my time .
