time about 1.17 if now one is in your way :)
This is another "safe" setup ... not the fastes by far but very stable on brakes and while pushing out of the corner. You can push full throttle early on the outline without a risk of spinning out.

enjoy !

your welcome. But have a try first before you "like" it :D
if you like to modify this some tips i allready discarded.
Dont go to soft on the springrate. maybe 1 or maximum 2 numbers less or the car starts weaving.
riding height should stay higher on the front. Else it has to much understeering.
Front shocks may be a view clicks lower. You feel the moving of the car if its too low. too high you feel by bumping through the corners.
Toe maybe more or less on both. reducing the back for example leads to mor spinning on the outline and a less "clean" line. More negative value on the front to too agressive turning into the corners.

just try out and if you tweak this do only one at a time and feel the difference first.
Taht is a lot of fun

I just ran with this tune so give me a few hours and I will post the video with this tune. I passed for the win at the end of lap 5 start of lap 6.

the 2x is rediculous fast.
drove a 1.15.1 with a ugly slide down the lefthander (turn 4 or 5) and i was close to overtake the Deltawing a second time
But this one is not made for my hectic way of steering ... it does act on everything ... ;)
Maybe i should reduce sensivity from 5 to 2 or something.

the tune @skeagracing looks interesting. maybe i take out the Sauber again with your tune.

sensivity 2 is way better to handle with the 2x.
came down to 14.9 and is good for 1.15 in a row

But why the ... does it have to sound like completely broken ? :D

It feels fine over all , but it didnt make me faster at all.
i was able to do a 1.18 low with this.

Braking is awsome stable and very controlable but accelarating out of the corners feels more slipery , like bumping on the rear. It has more spin maybe due to less throttle control from me.
Anyway its good to win an feels very comfortable on the inline and during the corner. Its just the outline that does not fit for me.

maybe a bit less rear dampers. like 5 6 or 6 6 would make it feel a bit "smoother".
or even i give rear-toe set to something about +15 - +20 a chance to make it feel a bit better. if so rear accelaration sensivity increment for the differential maybe possible and valuable.

What do you think ?
something inbetween yours and mine ;)

I would go with that for sure and then see where you end up.

Anybody have a tune for the Chaparral 2J '70?
Just bought it to try it out and like it has some good potential for this race. Has some good speed with potential to catch up to the other cars quickly but seems to be a bit sluggish/stiff on the turns despite being an MR. Needs some loosening up.
Can't recall seeing a tune for this Chaparral.

oh yes the 2J has its own rules. @coryclifford once had a good one for a willow TT event. Maybe this works in a way here too ??

This tune below is setup for this track, my best lap time for the race was 1:13.611 using a G29 wheel, DS3 users can try this tune as well if they like. Get your braking points right and you will do well.

Gonna try this just now Hall90. Cheers.

Here is another one for you to try
compared to @hall90 mine looks a bit stiffer and not so "moving" but though a bit slower i guess.
Overall it is similar.

result

832 kg

Balance overall 48:52

I'm as driver not as good as @hall90 but this one for me is one of the fastes cars/setup in the event. Nearly as fast as the 2X (1.14.9) it does a 1.15.210 and 1.15.096 in a row. And i know where i lost those tenth :)

so enjoy and have fun

Now i'm going to outstrip the DeltWing.
Actually nearly did it but finished the race one round too early ... :D untill i recognized my fault i lost 10 seconds and did a last 1.25 lap ... ;)

edit:
did it with a 8:06 :D
