I have a challenge to those who like a good, tough challenge after winning with the faster cars. Try and win with the Nissan 240RS Rally Car. I KNOW some of you are talented enough to win with that car. The best I have done so far is 2nd place. Good luck!

Pretty easy win with an HSV and a mild tune. Going to try others tonight. The Viper was at the top of the grid.

Edit: Just ran it a few more times. Corvette C5 and Subaru Imprezza GT300 base model. All won by 1.5-3.4 seconds with just a minor tune. It seems that I caught up with the different leaders all at the corkscrew.
Did see several cars leave the track at the first left hander. Leaders were the Nissan GT-R touring car and the Pagani Zonda race car.

easy win but the black stealth Ford GT AI i had, was aggressive once id past him, braking late and hitting me for 2 laps but managed to pull away after he went off. won with my newly purchased 2J

No Aids. Only Tune To Set Transmission. PP600. 575HP. Weight 1,090 kg. Power To Weight Ratio 1.89 kg/HP. P1 Ford GT LM. P2 Nissan GT-R R35. P3 Nissan GT-R Nismo. Fast Laps Of 1:24 Total Time 7:42. Pass For The Win On Lap 5 Going Into Turn 3 After Start Finish Line. Crazy AI Cars Are Back At The Track.

I used a 600PP Audi R8 Team Oreca Playstation for this event. I tried to find a event with no GT-R Concept LM Race Car, as @Fuzzi0n said. It was really easy without the GT-R. I overtook the lead Z06 LM at Lap 4, and I kept to their pace for the rest of the race. Won by a little more than 1 and a half seconds.

Ok, has anyone found a car that can chase down the rabbit TS030? I was just wondering, because that car showed up once, but it doesn't seem like it's a common car on the grid, like in the 600PP Silverstone event a while back.

Had a very close race. The car was actually way better than what you might expect from total time. It just took me three laps to get used to it. For the first three laps I was litterally all over the place, off track almost everywhere, and drove laps of 1:27+. Then it came together and last lap was 1:20.x. So this is a fast car capable of winning. Most likely it could do a couple of seconds faster laps in the right hands.

P1 rabbit was GT-R Concept LM Race Car. Caught him on the approach to the corkscrew on lap 5. My first lap was 1.23 something, the rest in the 1.22s.

It seems these races are getting easier. I golded the first two (beginner and intermediate) in a Range Rover with no engine mods.

Cheers, hall. 👍 I'll give this a go tonight...

What is the consistent lap time from this car? I've regretted using my kept Renault Megane Trophy Base '11 with only 510 PP, 351hp.. After 75 try only win the race! Using DS3 make my fingers got to be ' overhaul '. My timelap is only 1:27.3

Tried with the 576pp FTO Super Touring Car just hasn't had the boot it seems come 2nd and then 3rd - needs tweaking maybe? What top speeds are people running (I've noticed if I can redline on the straights I can take the mick with far superior more powerful cars). Might try with the HSV '12 or a GT-R 500 Stealth...

I used an 85 Ford RS200 B 200 Y00 licence. I managed to pull consistent 1:21 and 1:20s and my best total time of 7:29 for the 5 laps. That is only one second more than my best time in the RX-7 TC of 7:28. Not bad for an old Rally Car eh?

I noticed some of the AI cars would try to shoulder me off the track, but the little Ford would stand right up to that treatment and not budge and inch, Ha Ha!

I found the small size great for slicing inside the other cars in the corners. What a pleasant way to grind for credits!!
Cheers, Pete

Oh, BTW, if I saw the TS030 in the line up, I respectfully bowed out and re-entered.

Was able to win with the Shelby Daytona as well as the 69 Z-28 too.

Man alive! This was a struggle in the 2D. Had to try for two full hours... maybe it's just me...
Ran 1.25 and 1.24 laps, but it was by the skin of my teeth I was able to beat that R35 touring car.
Think I'll try a different car to get some confidence back

Times for the car are in the 1 minute 25s with no AI getting in the way, but this tune still needs a bit of work.

Try the Furai '08.

It's a rabbit eater and drives them crazy.

You are so right @photonrider I used it with @SW_10 tune. Just as easy as the 2J. The Furai is one of my favorite cars in Gran Turismo. In GT5 I had all the colors. I only bought 1 for GT6. It hasn't gotten enough miles on it to worry about. I bought the black one with the orange trim.

Easy win with the TS030. Tried it once with my HSV but only got second, behind by 2 seconds at the flag.

Used the Subaru Imprezza GT300 base model at 600PP. Don't know where the tune came from originally. Might even have done it myself.

Tried that too, was pretty good fun at 600pp, even more fun and a better race at 575pp. It was only against the Ford GT LM Race car though, and I did make a few mistakes too...following them off the track mostly:banghead::lol:

This is the tune I used...
Subaru Impreza GT300 Base Model '08 548pp RS

For 600pp just add all power parts and limit to 99.1%, final gear anywhere between 3.200 and 3.500 is good enough with the ratios shown. I am Currently running Camber at 1.5/0.7 and TOE -0.08/0.04. For 575pp, use Mid-Range Turbo, limit to 93.4% power and set Final gear between 3.400 and 3.600.

Why do the makers of Gran Turismo hate the Dodge Challenger R/T '70 so much? Every race it enters it finishes last! Can you at least put the "GREAT" D. Papp behind the wheel of the Challenger R/T '70 in one of your future seasonal events? Show some love for an old muscle car! It may be slower, but it isn't a last place car in every single race....
