Really enjoying this event, especially the nice track and numerous car options! Have claimed victories using the following cars:

Nissan GT-R GT500 Stealth
total time of 7:42.633, best lap of 1:23.837. Edged out the Citroen Race car by 0.803s.

Chapparal 2J
total time of 7:18.900, best lap of 1:18.409. Beat A. David in the TS030 Hybrid by 1.173s.

Nissan Xanavi Nismo GT-R '03
total time of 7:43.050, best lap of 1:24.076. Edged out the McLaren F1 GTR-BMW by 0.712s.

Toyota au Cerumo Supra
total time of 7:44.XXX, best lap of 1:24.072. Edged out the Ford GT LM spec II by 0.809s.

Will have to try the Raybrig NSX and Honda HSV (among others), to take first place...

Unrelated (and pure speculation), but maybe this is the reason the TS030 won't let the Corvette win:

I remember watching that race on TV. It was incredible watching that finish on television, not knowing what to expect after a remarkable battle between the 911 & Corvette. Thank god he didn't spin the 911 when he bumped him from behind, but putting Magnussen into the wall like that was pretty crappy. But...you know what they say about payback! :D

Super great post and video. Thank you!!

I set a personal goal for this event and met it. Using the TS030, I broke the 7:00 total time. Did it in 6:57.819 and had a best lap of 1:14.903. Sure was a blast trying to do this. Hope PD uses this track more for the seasonal events.

Won in the Raybrig HSV easily, but now im trying to do in in the DTM 04 Audi A4, or maybe its an 02, o well the red bull 1. I have it lightly tuned (aero, brakes, lsd, gearbox) with no aids, but i can only get 3rd. Does anybody have a tune for this?

Shouldn't we have gotten some replacements for these A-spec races? Two weeks with just Suzuka & Nurb?
But look at the payouts!! Just think of it as having TWO Expert Level A-Spec races instead of a Beginner's Level, Intermediate Level and Expert Level.

I just got a wheel that I'm trying to get used to. Frankly, I could stand some beginner level:)
Look they figured out they left out grinder races & reopened Cape Ring, Apricot Hill, & Laguna Seca... Sweet:):)

Wow look at all those different events to chose from. That is what it should look like all the time. Of course most of them are one time pay outs but that's all right. It would be nice to have the grinders hang around & just add some more every other week. 3 or 4 sets of grinders up there at a time would be great. Same track with different power levels, what ever it takes. I'm easy to get along with, & fairly easily amused:)

Me, too. There is a ton of events now that everything is open - plenty to choose from. I was sorry to see the events shut because I had no time to get to them all - was fixated on the Apricot Race; dozens of great cars to choose from, so not only a pleasant grind for credits but also a chance to play with the Rabbits in a variety of situations.
This means I can go back to some races at Laguna Seca (hardly tried it six times) and also for more fun in the Beginner's Event.
