4. look at offset column and scoll down to 001F0740
5. you will see that row like this FF FF 42 24 07 00 40 14 .... and you change the first 8 digits to FF 00 FF 00 .... then that line should be FF 00 FF 00 07 00 ...
6. Save and overwrite PCPX_966.49
7. repack all files and burn

Guys! I finally figured out how to hack the binaries using Hex editor! 👍
and it works!! Here is the method I used ... and I tested with HD Loader

method:
1. use ISOBuster to extract the iso or burned DVD-R
1. download AXE from here http://www.jbrowse.com/products/axe/download.shtml
2. install it and run it
3. open PCPX_966.49 file with AXE
4. look at offset column and scoll down to 001F0740
5. you will see that row like this FF FF 42 24 07 00 40 14 .... and you change the first 8 digits to FF 00 FF 00 .... then that line should be FF 00 FF 00 07 00 ...
6. Save and overwrite PCPX_966.49
7. repack all files and burn

to Repack (for swap magic user or your ps2 is very picky)
I use $ony cd/dvd-rom generator > New Project > DVD Master Disc
volume set to GRANTURISMO4, Disc Name PCPX - 96649, others blank
in Directory, drag files into the program in following order:
SYSTEM.CNF
PCPX_966.49
IOPRP300.IMG
IRX (folder)
EPSON (folder)
GT4.VOL

then press record, error show up(ignore), export image and save file name as GT4DEMO
after that you should have GT4DEMO.000 GT4 DEMO.001
then use command prompt (Dos mode) and go to the folder where GT4DEMO.000 located
type this: copy /b GT4DEMO.000 + GT4DEMO.001 GT4DEMO.iso
wait a while, you will obtain GT4DEMO.iso in the same folder
use Nero or DVD Decrypter to burn the iso image

then now ... you can enjoy Nurburgring without time limit ... YAY!

yes, but it really depends on how you repack
if you had experience on burning files (not image) to DVD and it works for your ps2 (games not movies)
then use your own method and you will be fine
since I had experience using Nero to burn prologue disc, it doesn't work on my picky ps2 even it already modded

Yeah I dont care either, as long as I can give the ring a good run now and practice till the game is released. But Im glad you worked it out.

If anyone cares, yesterday I found a break out point on Nurburgring in the Series 1 Demo.

If you get to Pflanzgarten 1, it's after it, go down the straight with the slight kinks and at the corner with the sign on the inside, look at the outside and you should see a gap by a barrier.

You can break out if your sideways and carrying alot of speed, I've got a timed demo and have only been able to break out once with 30 seconds to spare, I didn't have a camera on me at the time, sorry. I presume you should be able to break out in the Falken Skyline with enough speed, I'm sure there are more breakout points, I just haven't gone around the whole circuit yet. So if you want to break out and test the Falken's top speed here's your chance.

About the connections of your PS2 to TV! If you want the image to be as clear and beautiful like in good screens you see (colors and all) you should have a component cable! RGB scart for Europe! It improves the resolution and sharpness to max- to its natural quality! Like with the PC monitor! S-video doesn't improve resolution over composite but the image is clearer! So, You can witness the natural reflections and best ages of the cars in GT4 only using RGB lead! Colors in perfect place etc!

however I tested both single race and time trial, the timer stays at 150sec even restart the race

p.s. I attempted to do the Binary/hex hack and Could not find the offset, I never can get passed 0005xxxx let alone to 001f.
