Partly. Apparantly he is very likeable and actually popular among women. People are only viewing him as creepy because of the memes and rightwing narratives. But I can see why some girls would be creeped out by a 75 year old man. My daughter is creeped out by old guys even without physical contact, but she is just 4.

You don't get to say it's partly a joke. It's not "game" to put your hands all over people in a setting where they'll be uncomfortable refusing.

And I'm not so into memes or rightwing narratives that I can't look and think for myself. He's creepy. Not seeing it raises some questions from me... like whether that's politically motivated.

I was referring to "game" as in skills to woo women. Apparantly Biden was a handsome guy in his younger years and very popular. That what i was referring to with the jealousy. I remember this being a thing:

https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/young-joe-biden-was-ridiculously-hot-photo-w450680/

But like we established before you reading more into things then me in these videos and photos (exclude the fake ones), probably because some slight cultural differences.

This is a problem, I think the solution starts will assisting more people who have aspirations to run for office that otherwise can't or don't have the financial means to run. We can't vote for people unless we have candidates to vote for. I would love to see more diversity in both the house and senate.

I cant agree more. There should be a cap and total transparancy on campaign budgets.

When in doubt, resort to the jealousy argument, because there can't possibly be any other reason to call a guy out for creepy conduct.

I would agree with you if a women would come out and accuse him of being creepy or even inappropiate. But other men calling him out for being creepy I cannot take 100% serious.

Wouldnt be good for the democratic party if Hillary runs again. People want change and that was why both Trump and Bernie were popular.
Hillary is done. Her book threw so many vital people under the bus including Joe.

I would be amazed if Bernie ran again. Age aside, I think Bernie had a legit shot at beating Trump and the Dems threw it away with Hillary. Bernie had a lot of young voters behind him and Hillary’s nomination cost them a lot of his following; they wanted him, not her. When he supported her for a bit, he lost a few more followers who were upset he would just allow himself to be cheated out of the nomination.

Young Trump was a ladies man and charmisatic, too.... That image isn’t a positive anymore in the US to be a player.

This hit a little close to home last night: http://www.espn.com/college-sports/...es-track-athlete-lauren-mccluskey-shot-killed

A university track athlete was shot several times on campus by an ex-boyfriend. Apparently, the ex had lied about his age (he was 37, she was 21) and that he had felonies on his record for sexual assault.

It was kind of scary last night to get a page saying everything was in lockdown protocol, especially since I didn't know what was going on at the time.

***Oh I'll put a disclaimer on here too. In no way am I'm trying to start a school shooting debate again. This is not a school shooting, just a shooting that took place on campus. It was more of me being shocked than anything since it's where I work.

That's just tragic, she was intelligent, talented, athletic and beautiful. And that pathetic lying loser ended her life because he couldn't have her.

Why does the sex matter? Inappropriate conduct is inappropriate conduct, it shouldn't matter what the sex of the person doing the calling out is.

It does matter a lot. A lot of men can’t properly differentiate what is appropriate and what’s not. Hence the vast majority of sexual assault and/or misconduct is by men and not by women.

It really surprises me, especially here in Utah where crime and murder are relatively low.

Im finding myself in agreeance with Johnny and Dan. In the video with the little girl shared earlier, there would have been no less then a hushed harsh word to him. A little "why dont you dial it back there about 25, 30% there Squirrelly Joe." Cultural difference need not apply, we are from the same culture.
Hes one step away from this guy.

Does that broad, sweeping, unsubstantiated generality also apply to Joe Biden?

Stop spinning my words again. The discussion was specific about the ones that started this narrative of creepy Biden. It is men finding him creepy, I can’t find a source of women finding him creepy. I was arguing that a women’s opinion is a lot more relevant in this situation to counter the argument that the sex doesn’t matter. If you can provide some sources I might understand better your points of view.

To add nuance there is a big difference being creepy and outright molester. My problem is with the molester narrative.

To be fair. I know for a fact some women who like this type. What someone finds "creepy" others might not. Someones "creepiness" can be subjective in these particular cases.

This was your broad, sweeping generality.

I'm just wondering if Joe Biden falls into that "a lot of men" group as well and perhaps that's why he's got his hands all over children in such a creepy way.

Oh for f... ok...

It doesn't matter whether some women find the unwanted physical contact guy who prefers little girls attractive. I hope you can understand that.

On a larger note, I was questioning myself last night over the difference between Trump's cringey photos with Ivanka and Biden's cringey photos with these little girls and why I defended Trump but attacked Biden over it. I have two answers to that.

First, this is all Biden. It's his idea, nobody is asking him to get handsy in front of the camera. The camera man is not like "hey Biden, could you nuzzle that little girl from behind?". With Trump's cringey photoshoot it was less obvious whether that was the case. He and Ivanka were obviously being posed by someone coordinating the shoot, and might not have liked the way the photo turned out. Posing is not a very natural thing.

Second, I think between Biden and Trump that Trump pretty obviously takes the misogynist cake. He has pretty obviously harassed women, and joked about harassing women. And he's unbelievably disrespectful to women. It's an amazing cruel twist of irony that our first woman presidential candidate to win one of the two major party's nomination went up against someone who is so unashamedly d-baggy toward women. If she'd been running against McCain it would have been a much nicer campaign.

The only reason I'm bringing Biden up here is because people seem to like him for 2020, which I think would be a mistake (for more reasons than his creepy photos). But don't for a second get me wrong, Trump is also a horrible idea for 2020.

Perhaps I should be more specific, because I already answered that question to you. The comment was realted to the question if the sex matters when judging one's creepiness. Sexual assault cases with male>female and female>male are about 9 to 1. So my theory is there are different standards in creepiness in male vs female. In the case with Biden females dont find him creepy but males apparantly do. So if females dont think that, is it still creepy?

When a beautifull lady touches your hair or a old scary looking lady does it, they are both perceived differently.

It only seems more creepy by the way the videos are edited and the narrative that is presented. But if you look at each individually then I just find it hard to find it creepy.

You were making the wrong assumptions here. I did not say that its okay if "women find the unwanted physical contact guy who prefers little girls attractive" I was specifically speaking about the photos with adult women. I already adressed that some younger kids, naturally think old people or creepy. I referenced my daughter as an example of kids who think old people are creepy. I think the reaction of some of the girls make it creepy, rather then what Biden was doing.

Do you have kids yourself?

And about Trump and Ivanka, I dont think the pictures are that inappropiate or creepy. Again it could be cultural thing. It is the same thing for the left are trying to push a narrative, that isnt there. What is inappropiate though, is him saying that if Ivanka wasnt his daughter he would be dating her.

It applies to those photos.

It applies to those photos.

You were suggesting that Biden "prefers"little girls. I disagree with that assesment. Which photo were your referring? A simple search and you will conclude that Biden is just very friendly and likeable and likes to have physical contact with women, men, young and old.

The narrative and edit is what makes it creepy:

These photos are used as proof on a rightwing website that Obama is creepy too. But is it really?

In my research I strongly suspect that infowars started this narrative of Biden being creepy.

So you've seen the videos of Biden and dismissed it as no problem how he acts with little girls. Tell me then, what else would he have to do to those little girls who are already cringing away from him to get to the point where you'd call it creepy or inappropriate? You know, where you'd step in and say, "Hold on there Joe, that's a little bit too far". Is there anything short of touching their genitals or a mouth to mouth kiss you'd consider unacceptable?

Suspicious packages sent to White House, CNN, Obamas and Clintons

CNN has issued a correction:

Secret Service has not intercepted a suspicious package addressed to the White House

A US Secret Service spokesperson says there are only two packages intercepted by Secret Service -– the one addressed to Clinton at NY screening facility and the one addressed to Obama at a screening facility in the Washington area.

CNN was initially told there was a package addressed to the White House that was being examined at the offsite processing facility that handles White House mail.

You are crossing a line here dude. Do you have children?

I do. So answer the question. You seem to think his behaviour isn't creepy so I'm wondering what he would have to do, over and above what's on the videos, for it to be unacceptable to you.

Damn dude never thought you would go that far. I am not going to answer that question, because I dont feel comfortable with describing what is going to far touching children. In my opinion Biden is not being creepy at all. It is just an opinion so just disagree with me and call it a day.

CNN has received suspicious packages as well as the Obamas and Clintons houses.

No disrespect but you put yourself in this situation.
You are hypocritical. Trump and Kavinaugh bad. Biden good. The photo you said was Photoshoped is still inappropriate. He's still grabbing her near her breasts.
How would you feel if it was your wife or daughter getting felt up by him?

Just started to see it in european news. Any theories yet?
I've been hearing it is some rightwing anarchist group. Hear say only.
