Everytime a Sauber was driving past me I was like, "Since when did Henry start making racecars?"

That was tough though man, I made a proper meal of it. It didn't help I never had time to restore my car last night either...

I couldn't believe how almost everyone else got 1:48's in that race. Granted they had mega draft off some people, but they'd done very quick sectors to boot.

I liked the bright orange colored Mazda about as much as I liked your green Ford GT. It's about as fast as the Ford too. 👍

I was keeping the whole SunsetShift Racing theme I created for season two. Thanks.

Oh I dunno, that Ford's absolutely beast at the moment. Dialled off about half a second off my best time at Grand Valley from Friday. I laugh when I complain about the Mazda though, because I'll say it's really slow, then knock off enough time to force me to shut my mouth and just deal with it.

I'm a fair bit quicker in that Lotus though, I ran faster than the Mazda with about 10 bhp less than the required specs. I also ran mid-high 1:14's at Autumn ring when I think everyone else struggled with mid 1:15's..... I can't get that Ferrari to work though, so kudos to whomever can bring out pace in that.

More like a transition issue, we kinda started along the lines of Rolex. Oops, sorry.

Sorry. Storm and I were talking ALMS yesterday on the Rolex thread too. I get the 2 series mixed up so easily.

I too think there was a translation error. I don't think Kaz would say the sounds are "too real" in that they're exactly like the real thing. My take of it is the way he records the sounds makes them sound like they're too 'perfect'. If they're recorded on a dyno that isn't how the cars would sound in ideal conditions in a race. I think the wording was wrong. But I get what he means, if you read it as something like what I said.

I realized that I don't have the C60-Judd GV5 so I will be in the Peugeot powered C60 and I should be full time

Fixed an issue where the online control characteristics differed from the offline characteristics.

Supposedly it changed the online physics more than the offline. You have been warned!

Don't forget to purchase the same car we put up for DLC! It's way worth it!

Does it mean that the online physics behave like the offline physics? I'll have to try it out later.

By the way FH, what's a Sinulator?

Well, it looks like my Viper will have even more understeer than before. Whoopty do. Looks like I'll have to unbalance the car to get the tire wear even.

The Viper works better offline than online IMO. If this stays true and the offline physics are now online, the C60 Peugeot should actually be worthy!

I hope so. I haven't done any offline testing in forever.

I know cars with 'sports tires' felt like they actually had purposeful high grip street tires offline, but online sports hards were a joke. Same with comfort soft tires. Those are suppose to be like your typical summer rubber, but they felt like drift tires online. Kinda sad. I'll get online now to see how they feel.

I'm interested to see what happens. It would be great if online physics now match offline or vice/versa.

I'm currently testing tire wear online, to see what 'fast' and 'very fast' are like compared to 'normal'. Perhaps we should use very fast for qualifying as it would allow true low fuel runs.

I did some running in my online public room. Tested tire wear fuel consumption on 'very fast', with the LMPC Peugeot C60 car @Fuji F, I went through a half tank in 5 laps and the tires (softs) were gone! After 5 laps the rear tires get squirrely and you're running a second or two a lap slower. If we did this for qualifying 20 minutes would be enough to get your car to 10 or 20 liters left. Because after 5 laps I was able to fill the car with 50 liters. At half tank that suggests 100 liters is the tank size. We'd see just how fast these cars could go if we did that.

That's excellent qualifying conditions. That way, the car will actually be faster in qualifying than in the race.

Not only that, but this would be better overall for the condition of the cars for the race also.

By having the wear like that, and knowing a lot of you try to run really quick times by sucking the fuel out of the car, you don't risk overworking the cars during the qualifying, to an extent that your car loses power drastically during the race after the tyre wear is switched back.

Theres no way the race should run with fuel/tire wear on 'very high'. You'll be out of gas in a matter of 9 or 10 laps. And your tires will be gone by lap 5. I only suggest it for qualifying so you can run the fuel down to a minimum and use fresh tires as they do IRL.

I did, at first, assume everyone is smart enough to realise that I was talking in the assumption that we'd switch back the tyre wear to "normal" for the race anyway.

However, this is an internet forum and not my circle of friends, so upon reading the post how I originally had it, I had to edit it to make sure nobody jumped to the conclusion that I had also meant it for the race. Sorry, I was careless. :D
