You've got your work cut out for ya then. The only way I've beaten Skeletor (in a league race) was with superior tire wear, and well, he's running the only car I've been able to beat him with. (again, in a league race) :sly: Had to be sure to point that out, my '10 SS is like Kryptonite in the open lobby's!

Got two different leagues to try to beat him in now. Maybe I'll be able to manage it ;)

I did beat him Vette vs Vette last time we raced just casually by literally .001 seconds

^Hey I can beat him on an oval anytime and I also did once at Monza. And when your successful like that it really makes your day! I have 3 chances to beat him in a weekend. And the only one I ever see that happening in is the IROC series because it's half ovals LOL.

I'm very beatable guys. I get beat all the time.

That IROC series has been a frustrating one, I've participated in 4 races, and so far I've been lag punted a few times, then in that last one, I kept getting ran into by lapped traffic (the same guy several times). And just plain victimized by over aggressive driving. I also think some may have chasis reinforcement done, maybe on purpose, maybe not (isn't allowed but no way to regulate). Some guys are 2-3 seconds/lap faster then I am. I find that hard to believe. There are some good drivers in that league, no doubt, but I can't keep up because I get caught up in nonsense..... But I digress

Anyways, I'm glad this week went pretty good, or good enough given the circumstances. We'll see how the standings shake out. Wish I could of been there.

I know what your saying, I feel that way every time I see a Dodge Ram...:scared:

How does chassis reinforcement improve your times?
I've never noticed anything beneficial about it

I know it helped out significantly in the '63 z06. In the case of the '10 RM camaro, it helps out quite a bit as well. The handling is better and more stable with less power oversteer. I don't really have other examples, because I usually do this with every car I race online without seeing how it handles with out it.

Some time ago I did some light testing on a 550-ish '10 SS, brand new I ran several laps around Forest, added Chassis Reinforce and I felt much better grip, immediately took about a second off my lap. That was the extent of my test and C.R. now gets added to every car I drive.

Crap! Now he knows too much.

It'll be allright, Skel...just make sure you don't tell him about how we always add the maximum Ballest to the front of all our cars to give us the edge...:sly:

Dude, I totally agree with you. I think they have chassis reinforcement and custom lsd's. Because I'm constantly battling Furi in that series and me n him are like dead even all the time. But for fun-sake I like to abide by his specs with no mods. He allowed us to put on the racing exhaust. Idk if you have it on? That will help a bit. And yes there is a lot of nonsense, I always get punted or leaned into, but its fun getting them back. But usually the right guys will pull-over and wait for you. Oh yea and for that guy who got lapped like a 100 times LOL how is he in the Int'l. Race Of Champs. LOL??

Ok, enough IROC, back to TRANS-AM!!! I tell everyone this is where its at!

Thanks I'll try that out, nothing like having 1000kg's in the front-end! I love tapping walls

Yea, I'm done throwing the IROC series under the bus in this thread. I'm just glad we don't have all that sillyness in this series.

We also like to set brake bias at 0f-10r, and turn the ABS off. Shave 10's of seconds off your lap time!!

Oh I love having the turning radius of a steam ship!

Greatest online racing secret ever: Just as the 'start timer' tells you to go, with your DS3 hit these buttons as fast as you can: 'up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, A, B, select, start'.

Am I the only gamer-4-life in here that's old enough to recognize that?!?

Konami Code

many games....

one in particular:

Contra

oh yea..and TMNT

...whew...scared me for a minute. Sure have come a long way from Contra. Never beat it either, sure did think I was man with that code, though.

I beat the rerelease on PS2 a few years back with a buddy of mine an a case of beers.

And that code still works

Ah ha! Of course! I never thought about the "case of beer code" (works on every single game). I was way under age during the Nintendo era though. Is Contra available on DLC?

More like IDKFA people.

Anyone, be typing in the results here shortly.

Times and Results are up. I actually happen to like the track. Although it is severely punishing if you do not find the correct line through it.

I was majorly ticked when the network mess up and dumped everyone. I was leading and doing extremely well with tire wear. I was really wanting to see it how it would have ended up with everyone having different Pit timing.

You have both races listed as "Group II". I assumed the 2nd one was G1 vintage. The score board should update itself shortly.

I know what your saying, I feel that way every time I see a Dodge Ram...:scared:

On my way home this afternoon, there was a yellow Ram, looked like the same model & year in my rear view mirror & thought, "oh dam". Next thing I know I'm going 15mph over the speed limit.

Looks like the score board didn't update. I hate photobucket. I delete the old ones, and then upload the new ones, and it keeps showing the old ones.

Guess clearing my browsers cache didn't work. :( Have you checked to see if the image links were working properly?

It's Kal's post, I just replace the JPG files in this photobucket with the same name, so the link code is consistent. I've had this issue before. Now it looks like GII is updated.

You guys wouldn't believe what just rolled into my shop, so here's a pic! :D
