They thank people for their patience?

I don't see much patience when these packs are about to drop. To apologize for the inconvenience was the least they could have done, and perhaps consider apologizing for FM7 in general while they are at it.

I'd be surprised if Turn 10 management remains in place once this fiasco of a game settles down.

What's quality control?

A place on the North Pole.

It seems they're damned if they do, and damned if they don't, with you. You'd think that with all your issues with bugs that have not been fixed, that you'd actually welcome the fact that they're trying to avoid issues.

"Thank you for your patience." My, how arrogant of them.

Indeed. As I said, they should have apologized for the inconvenience, mostly because this is now the second delay. Classic Turn 10 attitude nonetheless, so it's not like I'm one bit surprised.

That’s pretty poor if they’re having quality issues for just a simple update and DLC pack. Doesn’t appear to be a major content update or bug fix (that we know of). Whilst I appreciate them taking the time to fix something before release, their years of experience with DLC should means that this shouldn’t happen in the first place. Enough.

Couple that with them trolling us with the Specialty Dealer again and I’m putting Forza on hiatus.

See you in a week or two folks

Since when has DLC and Title Updates been something simple? What exactly is simple about it?

Aside from that, having experience in anything doesn't mean that you're going to know how to avoid everything and any unforeseen issue, thats ridiculous to assume otherwise. I haven't heard of one game that has released with zero bugs/issues that has to be fixed, so I'm unsure how people come to the conclusions that they do.

People operate under the assumption that as long as there isn't anything gamebreaking in the first week or so, then things are fine.

If there is...your game is sunk. Battlefield 4 recovered nicely after it's launch troubles, but TDU2 sure as hell didn't.

Personally I would rather have the game fixed than get any more DLC but that's just me. There are enough cars already. I really don't want to complain but it's seriously broken and unpolished. I wish it was just Forza 6 with some more cars, tracks, dynamic weather and free play options, that's it, maybe improved AI. Seriously, why did they have to mess up so much stuff that wasn't even broken in the first place. Also, isn't it ironic that they delayed the DLC because of a glitch yet there are so many glitches in the game? Why didn't they delay the game itself...

Spot on!

I figure I could just wait for the fix to come up (it will, eventually), or complaint endlessly about it here or in the official forums, or just take what I already have and partipate, along some of the more positive, polite and proactive members here, in little friendly contests (you can check the threads, you are always welcome) that let us play as we like, for as long as we like and just enjoy it. I choose the latter.
