Arcade Calsonic/Loctite Skyline at SSR11....

Best lap time, and controller/wheel of use. Only 100% clean runs, and it has to be the arcade car (no sim cars, and definitely no hybrids). ASM/TCS is your choice, I did it with no ASM but TCS on.

Leaderboard:

1 - jbschumacher - Calsonic Skyline - 1'46.198  :fdevil: - Wingman Formula Force GP
2 - Mr P - Calsonic Skyline - 1'46'349 - DS2
3 - made in holland - Calsonic - 1'46'954 - DS2
4 - Lotus350 - Calsonic - 1'47.641 - DS2

Well, well, well. The traitorous Mr. P. My arch nemesis. My sight's are on you. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!

What's up Mr. P? How ya been matey?

I'll run some laps when I get home from school.....

BTW Rob....Ron isnt a traitor, he aint YOUR arch nemesis, he's mine and has been for over 14 months but he's my best friend :)

Yeah P..Loud run some laps, its straight :)

This shouldnt be that hard, arcade car so tuners are out, just pure driving skill....gimme that tcs off :fdevil:

I will give this one a go ;) but i know right now that i am beaten ..But it's the taking part that counts :D

I'll update the leader board after awhile - I'm quite busy at the moment - and afterwards I'm going to give it some more laps.

Be shooting for a low 1'46 - had it yesterday, but replay had a scratch in the chicane. (A mid 1'45 isn't out of the question, heck - with this wheel it seems like I find time where I couldn't find it before - I wish more NTSC users were here to watch my replay - you can see it's very cautious - I haven't gotten aggressive yet.)

But that's because I've only had the wheel 72 hours now.

And in the fact with a DS2 this was one track I did in chase view (80% of the time, I was inside the car, but not on this track) - with the wheel I cannot race at all in chase view, I HAVE to use inside the car - not bad eh?

One last thing before I log out, I've noticed something about the wheel - you can carry more speed through alot of corners than with a DS2 - I didn't notice this until yesterday. Full steer sometimes does not turn as well as partial steer - GT3 is more realistic than I thought - with the force feedback wheel you can feel when the tires are dragging, that means you're turning too much.

I told you I wasn't being aggressive.

1'46.198 :fdevil:

It looks so d:censored:n good on replay.

If anyone beats this - I want to see the SharkPort replay or an MPEG of the X-Port if you're a PAL user.

I will try to get an MPEG for PAL users sometime - I'm kinda getting tired of asking BK to do them for me, I think I'm going to buy a capture card and be able to do it myself.

BTW - the replay attachment at the top is updated. It is my new 1'46.198 time. Enjoy SharkPort owners! :D

Nice run JB 😈 😈

i'm going on it now , dont worry i'll get an mpeg done when i take a 45 😈 i reckon you'd be faster on ds2 btw ;)

I dunno man, it's a lot of work to just get totally smoked by you guys. Maybe I'll give it a run tomorrow afternoon.

Hey Mr. P. How ya doing?

So you think the DS2 is faster than the wheel?

dont get me wrong , the wheel is faster but for such a twisty circuit better response would be with the ds2 but thats just my opinion :D everyone to there own i suppose ;)

and i'm doing good thanx :) just back from work , skinning a spliff , loading gt3 and set out to catch the wingman (if i can :P ) this time i'll try the loctite 😈

i use the sticks and can get a 1:09:2XX at midfield in a stock C5R. you might not think that a good time but ive only had a PS2 for a week

sticks are pretty good, but then again, im not top pedigree  I don't think i could drive with the d-pad though...

i sucketh greatly, i'm not even cleanly at 1:50.

still haven'y mastered the lines and speed yet
