Looking forward to the 918 most. First thing i'm doing when the Porsche pack finally ariives is taking the 918 around Silverstone International , I've already got times for the P1 and LaFerrari .
MCALREN P1 1:16.3

LA FERRARI 1:17.9

These were done from standing starts with the traction control off.

To be honest, I HATE when I see an update to this thread and I hope for good news and instead I find yet another off-topic video from hammy :D

I mean there's a dedicated thread for videos....

But life is serious enough as it is Karsten, all i do is try and lighten the tone here a bit in between the more "fruity" debate we have here.......... ;) And there's another "alert" Karsten, just to excite you, and get your hopes up for free!! Here's a free grin of yours too! :D

And also another video!! :D

I like how you soften the mood @HammyMansell great job mate :gtpflag::cheers:

Thank you fellow CRAP brother!! ;)

If you are aiming for unadulterated honesty, in accordance with your proclaimed modus operandi.... maybe skip the smiley next time. It only serves to confuse your message and/or presents as a way to get a sly dig in with a lessened risk of repercussions.

Very important post from Lord Kunos himself on the official forum :

Next console update is a very important one because it realigns the code to the current version of the PC. Because of the massive changes the console version had to go through a lot of testing so that's why there is a "lag" between the releases. Hopefully with code parity the future releases will be more in sync. We all want the same thing here, devs and users: to see the software out as soon as possible.

I was expecting this. They are working on this update for a long time now. It caused us all, who are waiting for Porsche, a lot of trouble. So i hope it's worth it and we might even get Vol. 3 by the same time as the PC community. In any case, i hope these words from Kunos are not some kind of excuse to delay the update and the first Porsche pack even further........

So, our most optimistic predictions around that number "9" and the longer-than-usual wait were actually right.

Great news. 👍

Well, he said the "code" will be aligned with the PC version. I guess that is a good thing but i'm afraid this doesen't mean we will get all the features the PC version has right now, like photo mode, the ability to choose every AI car and showroom...

I've reached the point where the release date hardly matters anymore. I'll be buried in work from now till January, but I still hope to see the console update soon. Good to hear that the console build is making progress.

Because of the massive changes the console version had to go through

The way i read that, by using the past tense of "had to go through" says to me that the console patch is now finished and hopefully with Sony/MS as we type to be passed to go live by the 30th of November at the latest....But of course it all depends on if it has been passed to the 2 companies for assessment, we live and hope....

And you see Karsten, i can give imput, and not just flashy videos! Lol :D

True that.

But hopefully it shows that they're commited and, from my understanding, should make adding the missing stuff quicker and easier.

I agree, the wording is very encouraging.

And some more good news from Lord Kunos on the official forum...

Custom championships can't come soon enough.. hopefully the update for the third Porsche DLC (1.11) will include those.

Some questions I've done to Stefano Casillo :

Not happy with the delay but now i can understand why they did it, thanks for the update.

Does Lord Kunos' recent activity on the forum mean the console patch 1.09 is actually arriving soon?! Queue up the It's Happening gif!

More seasonal i thought @OooAhh Cantona :sly:

Also, and unsurprisingly, no DLC on the PS Store seeing it's Tuesday and it usually gets updated lol......... I think the patch might appear this week, around Thursday, like 1.03 did in October, with the DLC showing up next Tuesday the 29th of November.......Although it all depends how quickly our friends at Microsoft pass the patch fit for release........Tick tock tick tock........

He already said some days ago on twitter that Porsche Pack 1 would arrive this month.
Still a week and some days till November ends

Yeah, I remember when the first Porsche pack launched across all three platforms in September. Or when the game arrived on consoles in April.

At this point, the only way I'll believe release dates is if I see the stuff on the PS/XB stores.

My exact safe fear... maybe we'll get a surprise?

You shocked me with this one lol.
UDP

Yes please, one of the things I miss most in AC in comparison to PCars is not being able to run external apps.

Oh that would be precious on console since we have zero telemetry now!

This just popped up on the AC Facebook Feed:

"UPDATE FOR CONSOLE PLAYERS...
Porsche Pack Volume I is scheduled for launch on PlayStation 4 and XboxOne on November 29th, with the Porsche Pack Volume II DLC scheduled for launch in December."

As i predicted an hour ago lol.........I'm a psychic!! :dopey:

So patch this week then to reflect/update the car menus etc for the DLC coming for next!!! (And lots of game additions hopefully) :)
