The Ferrari DLC has been in submission for at least two weeks now. Is it supposed to take so long, or does Kunos keep doing something wrong? I could sit back and rely on my patience but I repeatedly wonder what these updates are going through.
I wasnt expecting that pack until December/Jan anyway lol.
Just Rebought this on Sunday. Loving it already. I don't know why I ever got rid of it, the game feels, & looks stunning. Just bought the second Porsche DLC, currently testing all the cars in it on Highlands.
You might have been better off waiting for the season pass to go on sale and get the prestige pack with it too (I'm totally presuming you don't have any other dlc?).

Haha you're right I should of waited, but me being inpatient I already bought few DLC packs few months ago. I have:
Prestige pack
Japanese car pack
Porsche vol 1
Porsche Vol 2

The DLC packs for this game are really good. Give you a good variety of cars. :D

0h well, at least you're rewarding the Devs. R2R is brilliant btw, I wasn't excited for it bar 1 or 2 cars but its so good. Red pack is a must too as it has the Red bull Ring GP and National, the latter being a great little track. The 3 Maseratis are pretty awesome too.

Also you might as well get Porsche pack 3 now lol. You get an extra car in that one.

That's true Haha! I don't mind buying DLC for Assetto Corsa, it's actually a very good simulator. I could just drive @ highlands for hours on end, I enjoy the physics & engine sounds in Assetto Corsa that much!

I'm going to buy Porsche pack Vol. 3 next week when I get a bit more money. Ooooooooo extra car? There is no season pass exclusive cars in the game is there? And one more question, what is the performance pack upgrade? I already have the Prestige edition cars, & the performance pack cars look the same as the prestige edition cars.

Funny you mention RedBull ring, I was going to tryn do a race on RedBull Ring but I didn't have the DLC :/ Looking to buy the other 2 DLC packs (Red line & The newest DLC pack) next time I get bit more.

I play predominately offline on PS4. I'm having a slight issue in that the message "Disconnected - there was an error connecting to server", is constantly on screen, taking up a fair chunk of my vision at times. Going online of course solves the issue but I cant always do that, so, is there anyway to get rid of the above message without actually going online? Thanks in advance

The Ferrari DLC is now heading into submission next week. Pretty confusing because on September 26th they said it had already entered submission.

Wasn't there a further small update for PC to make the SF-70 F1 more stable coming out of corners?

If so, maybe they added this to the console patch, and then resubmitted to Sony & Microsoft.

I'm OK with waiting if that gives them time to take care of a few more problems/glitches.

In the meantime, I'll get my Ferrari fix with Finali Mondiali at the end of the month (hopefully, with their strong relationship, we'll get the new K Evoluzione down the road).

I wish we could take these status updates on progress as definite signs of the DLC arriving very soon. The uncertainty surrounding the submission stage has turned out be a source of frustration in the past.

Every console user has a right to be pissed off considering how AC Updates have been so late, however, the last update we received on PC was only a couple of small tweaks to existing cars - weight issue, aero issue, etc - the rest was all things not available to console users. They added more modding capabilities for PC users which should allow for even better tire physics in the future.

I really hope you guys get this DLC & Update really soon. When you mash the throttle in the Ferrari 250 GTO a smile appears on your face instantly. When you pass about 5000 RPM that smile goes from ear to ear. :D The 812 Superfast doesn't impress me as much...It's an amazing, insanely fast supercar. Practically the only thing you have to worry about is coming into a corner too hot. I love supercars in real life so, so, so much. In AC, not so much. :grumpy:

The 330 P4 and the 312/67 are absolutely amazing cars to drive. The 312/67 versus the Lotus Type 49 is a blast. ;)

Why do I never see anyone talk about the 288 GTO? This car is the main selling point for me.

Oh dear, seams that GTS has made Marco Massarutto ponder about weather/day night cycle. And asking if better graphics > weather/ day night cycle.

I don't think GTS is worth taking as an indicator of anything as with its change of direction and lack of content + features. It needed graphics to draw people in.

I'm really looking forward to driving the 288. It's one of my all time favourites with such a beautiful and timeless silhouette. I've also noticed the Modena plate Kunos put on it:

Probably a nod to the only surviving GTO prototype (#47649):

You're right. It's probably the car from that pack that I've put the most miles on since installing the DLC. I haven't really tested the car - usually I run some tests of my own doing, just for kicks. The car has the most odd gearing in any car I've driven. Fortunately, Kunos provides us with two different gearing sets along with a couple of different FGs to chose from. Being the stickler for authenticity that I am, however, I always drive the stock transmission setup.

Ferrari pack for consoles next Tuesday!

Sweet! this pack looks fun and the PC guys have had great things to say about it. That is Halloween here and I already have plans so will have to wait till Wednesday but still..

That means there will also be an update right?

Great, Tuesday! But why these synchronized release dates on consoles all of a sudden? It was the same for the RTR DLC so it's probably not a coincidence. Before that PS4 always got the DLC releases earlier than Xbox One, which might still have been the case if the release date didn't happen to be the same on both console systems. I don't get it because the PC version leads an independent life when it comes to release dates, updates and so on. I'm not really bothered but it's kind of frustrating to think it might have been ready for PS4 for a while.

I didn't know this car came with adjustable gear ratios. It may be a Group B homologation special, but not something you see on road legal cars every day.

I read in another thread that the DLC & Update code has already been approved by both Microsoft & Sony, so technically they could have asked for a release already. For some reason, I believe most updates & DLC packs drop on Tuesdays. Stefano recently said (within the last month or so) that they are very, very close to getting all three platforms on the same base. I wouldn't be surprised if the update that comes after the Tuesday update is the one that gets us all on the same page. That's just a personal opinion - I have no evidence to prove it.

I don't remember exactly what the deal was for providing a different gearset AND a different final gear. Me, I always stick with the stock transmission.

I'm actually torn as to which to drive first.

Its a coin toss between the 250 and the 288.

The 250 is of course the icon, but I have such a soft spot for the 288 Evo as its a car from my teenage years.

I will cut right to the chase here: "I have a TX servo base with fanatec v1 pedals. I use the CPX for the pedals and the Drive Hub so I can use the TX with the PS4 Pro.

I remember originally reading the Assetto Corso reviews for consoles thinking they were laughably bad and I didn't give it much further thought.

Then I started reading you guys. Time went buy. I'm not getting a PC just yet, which I know AC is great on, and I am tied up with GT Sport lately.

I saw AC for PS4 at a reasonable price and I thought "what the hell." I picked it up on Friday, and did two laps in the Ferrari...

...and I was giddy like a school girl who just tasted an ice cream sundae for the very first time.

I mean, really... Do I need to say anything more?

Other than thank you, gentlemen.

Yeah its become a great product. The options for cockpit view, the FFB, the physics.. amazing. I just crave the easy to jump in and race online racing.. AC is lacking there. Everything else is wonderful.. and with the addition of Laguna Seca "soon" it will only get better.

The AI had improved as well to the point I enjoy racing them.

The glitz, glam and online racing of GTS have me busy for now, but it will get old and I will go back to the pure driving enjoyment that is AC eventually.

Just out of interest, which Ferrari was it?
