Question for modders. An example from reality: in an all-wheel drive car, and you can turn off the front-wheel drive, leaving only the rear. Is it possible to transfer this technique to the game using the CM? Imagine, in the game you can choose which auto drive to use.

I guess it would require some 3d editing, as CM cannot do that.
Although some drivers come with a smaller/bigger size, and sometimes adjusting that in CM does the trick.

Peugeot Sport 2007 WIP.

Im starting to enjoy this skinning malarky...... but the mapping on this 908 is terrible.

and this is my version of it:

Coming soon. I've spent entirely too much time re-working this Celica but I guess I'm longing for the years in history when the biggest diseases people worried about were cancer and STDs. Plus I've got lots of free time now...

Will be sharing a club sport version with 177HP and a Rally Sport version with 235HP. If folks think this would be a good addition to their Touring Car Legend races just send me the BoP specs for that and I'll add that version to the package as well. Oh, and the body map created by CM makes it quite easy for livery painters so if anyone is interested in creating some paint schemes just send me a PM and I can share the model.

Cool! Your skins look better, although that looks like a different model to mine? My mirrors definitely aren't mappable and my model seems to be more high poly?
It is a different model. It is the car from Simdream with some adjustments. I think it is from Enduracers and also i didn't make this skins. I have only shown you the version that i have. Also my two 908's having a realistic soundmod

But there will be another model soon which will be a lot better than this models.

In a SIM that can be modded, I totally support any young or older modder (regardless if they have a driver's license) that is able to come up with a crazy fictional mod like the Flintstone's car, Amazon package, the sushi package, Lego versions, or any derivative fictional "tuned" model.

However, I'm with you in regards to any mod for a specific brand BBB, model MMMMM, year YYYY.

In this case, I think the modder should try as much as possible to base it on the real model and the real available data, as the best modders actually do.

Hmmm. Personally, I prefer mod cars that actually bear some relationship to the capabilities of real cars and the physics of the 'real world'. I think there's quite a few young modders out there who probably haven't even got their driver's licence yet and don't have the faintest idea just how crazy their creations are.

If you can find me some liveries you I'll be happy to make some

The FM7 one is a lot more accurate compared to the Terra 21 version. Terra did a great job at bringing it up to date, but there's a lot of the base layout thats unfortunately wrong. The FM7 version has made me stop working on mine. I can't compete with that amout of detail singlehandedly with the time I have. I may try and roll mine back to suit the 2006 version before they replaced the sand with the stripes..... but I just dont know when Ill be back on it. I got a so many gimme gimme emails and PMs (some of them quite rude) and it basically made me fall out of love with the project.

I have both versions installed, but I prefer the FM7 which seems to be the most accurate (and the best looking).

I think overall i prefer the FM7 version but i'd swap out the track texture which i think is better on the Terra/Jim Floyd one. My only problems with the FM7 version is that coming up to the ferris wheel/grandstands it takes a huge fps dip, especially at night & whilst the lighting is overall better it's worse in a couple places to the terra/floyd version.

Super GT races are so much fun to do in AC.

I was wondering if anyone still had the zip file for this "GT1 Madness pack" by KrazyDan. I have all of the cars already but they aren't balanced. I was in the process of trying to get them balanced but it's been taking a long time. If anyone could PM this to me it would save me from a huge headache.

Before anyone says. Yes, I do have the RSS GT1 pack.

I also second this, I have the RSS GT1 pack and I too would like this pack as well.
