Might not help you but once in game I need to go into the app "sol plan selector" there is a tick box option called "auto wipers" i just put that on and they seem to come on after that as long as there is a rain plan selected or pre chosen in CM.

prob worth a sol clean install too if those pages are blank in the config

Anyone knows the logo on Jean Alesi's arm (driving a Ferrari F40 LM)?
I read "BOYERAT", but I can't find a logo with that name.

You want to take the realism out of Nords? And no, there's no retexture removing graffiti, why would there be?
The blurry (POS texture) you mention must be your settings.

Don't get me wrong I said POS rather harshly and I don't actually mean it, but come on, that first 2 pictures I've sent you are blurry.
And nobody said anything about removing ALL the graffiti. I said remove some of them, because in real life there aren't this many. Obviously there won't be, since people use this as a road, therefor it gets erased in time. They keep painting some graffitis back when the track is closed.
Just take a look at any nordschleife videos, you'll see for yourself:

All I want is less graffiti, and the blurry ones removed.

My ask is because on every communitys I meet you (for a long time), you are mostly asking for 30 pits tracks.

Don't get me wrong, just pure curiosity. Why 30? Not 32 or 28... 35... :)

Dont get me wrong but i really dont know you and what other forums?? i only asked here about tracks and on cs.rin for the first time yesterday and what you say is not true im not only asking for 30 pits,..

i ask for more pit boxes if the track has 24 or less,.. so your a little bit off mate haha.

And in this case i asked for 30 cause i had wakefield with 30 pitboxes and i asumed that the update also has it, but it doens't and i was to fast with deleting the 30 pits version.
So thats why i asked this time for a 30 pits cause i had that one already,.. but if there is a 40 pit version its also great or a 26,.. as long its more then 24 ;) but if i ask for a 30 i know its around here somewhere i get faster a awnser then when im asking for a 42 pit version that is not around here or anywhere,...

its that simple ;)

EDIT: the funny thing is that the update from legion has a fault in the json file,.. it said 17 pit boxes,.. but this is not correct it actualy has 35 so problem is solved and json file is changed to 35 ;) me is very happy :D

All of the graffiti at nords isn't perfect irl. And yes, a lot are blurry as you described being used as a road (among other things). And so they are in AC.

IRL there isn't that many? Theres a ton more. AC has no where near as much graffiti as real life nords.

All I want is less graffiti, and the blurry ones removed.

So more unrealistic is what you're looking for.

I drove the car at the Fuji track seen in the above link (different car) and checked the telemetry and data.
The ratios/rods and locks are indeed setup incorrectly and the car exhibits some unusual characteristics when in motion.

I have therefore made some preliminary changes based on a small amount of data sourced online.
Please try the attached file as a phase 1 initial fix, and let me know your thoughts.

If you'd watch these videos daily you'd know there aren't that many.
But no worries I got my hands on the graffiti texture so I can reduce them myself.

I assume you have anisotropic filtering maxed out either in CM/Assetto Corsa/Video Settings or (even better) 'off' in Video Settings but maxed in Nvidea Control Panel?
This will help tremendously with sharpening blurry road textures, including white lines, skidmarks, graffiti, other road markings etc., especially in the middle distance.

Thanks for this, knew this car was out in the wild but could never find it other than a broken link on a Hungarian website.

On that note, would anyone happen to have or know where I could get the Dodge Neon SRT-4? Again I know it's out there but I can't find a working link.

2048x2048 resolution might sound like a lot, but when it's for multiple graffitis that needs to fit on a road sized surface, the image will get blurry. The actual size of the graffiti that is put on the road surface has a resolution width of just 332.

I will post the link when i port my latest changes to (make) updated patch and test it a bit for you.

I need to prepare a patch from the changes i made to the mod, since I'm not distributing the whole car which is official brabham's mod. It would be quicker to share updated car, but should i ? i am quite reluctant to make a clash with the company i like (The Brabham) :D :/

So the idea is you will need only the original mod of official Brabham BT62, and my patch applied over it.

(I also have some fixes to "data" car files, but i do not want to overwrite people's data.acd by default. If somebody needs fixes for ai opponent cars and so on, and messing with extracted data.acd is not a problem to you, i can share "loose" files)

The LCD of the car is a .dds skin file with hard-coded descriptions for running lap time water temp etc.

Would be much better if a plain skin for the LCD was available and the projected value descriptions came from the digital_instruments.ini ( I miss delta values on LCD display :) )

I've decided to update the graffitis a bit. All graffitis now look a bit more worn (transparency change), some blurry graffitis removed (some of them still exists and in general there are still a lot of graffitis on the track) and the asphalt texture has been darkened to properly represent the real road. It's not a freshly repaved Nordschleife and it's most definitely not a recreation of the 2019 repavement (that'd require model changes and a lot of texture mapping). It's simply to make it look more real with the original AC graphics.
Please ignore the winter look that I have installed for Nordschleife, that is not part of my edits, you can find that on racedepartment.

In case anyone is interested in the roads alone and the graffiti mod, you can find the textures here:

You can combine it with the summer / autumn / spring / winter mod if you want.

Just copy this file into /tracks and you can select a totally clean tarmac for Nordschleife in CM.
If you uncheck the skin in CM, you have the original Kunos textures (graffiti).

Big up to Bazza for getting v3.0 out here brilliant job lad. And how about Lemans 24 by sega in 1997 @FileMissing? All the cars from that game are in: Mazda 787B, Sauber C9m Porsche 911 GT1 (1996), Ferrari F40 (not the GTE but closest is the LM), F1 GTR and R33 GTR LM along with the bonus car: 917K. Including the alternate liveries for these cars. If you didn't know how to get them you click break and one of the view buttons to get the alternate liveries they were: Sauber C9 in all black, Mazda 787B in the white Mazdaspeed, Porsche 911 GT1 (1996) is also an all-black, Mclaren F1 GTR had 2 alternates, the West and the Harrods, Ferrari F40 GTE with the igol (enna SRL red was the main), and finally the blue no.22 from 1995 on the R33 GTR LM. And the Lemans 1991 - 1996 is made. Win-win

I'll look into creating this as it sounds like it could be great fun.
I've also added a few more Arcade Style Games to the servers rotation, including a preliminary version of "Sega Super GT" which is hosting the Calibra DTM, Mercedes-Benz C180 DTM, Toyota Supra JGTC at Lausitzring and a NFS MX5 Special at Glendale which is bonkers.

As Sega Super GT used fantasy tracks its hard to find an accurate portrayal of the game, if anyone knows of an appropriate track for replicating Sega Super GT let me know and I'll update the server.

Ok, I got the one car done (Ferrari 330P4)- tried it around the Angelesey track. Lots of fun. The Koro's work well there.

I am going to make 3 more and release a package of 4 in total. Any suggestions on a few cars other than the Ford GTMKIV to compete with the 330P.

A pack of these will be great and they will definitely be added to the rotation, how are they to drive with a wheel out of curiosity?
Are you looking for car recommendations from the same year/genre, if not I'd really like to the see the ZakSpeed Capri "DRM" cars done in this style.

Should not be a problem to make a "plain LCD". I will make a plain lcd texture, but you will send me your digital_instruments.ini :). i wonder how it would look like.
 
Actually there is a black LCD.dds inside some skins. Should do the work for now. Let me experiment a little bit today and I will come back to you.

On the other hand I wonder what @Shokeus has to say about this :rolleyes:
