The only picture with the sun in it from 1.2 on RD. I figure that if the author isn't going to show it off then it's just not meant to be for now.

I can't really complain. it all looks awesome. i like a low sun, go rays, etc. but I'm good with it as is.

Yeah, I've noticed that nearly every screenshot for CSP/SOL avoids showing the sun, especially if it's behind clouds.

OK, I've played a LOT of Assetto Corsa and I've got a LOT of mods, but I seriously don't think I've ever had more fun than when racing big grids of that CIRaceonline Mini around Okutama GP Reverse. That little pocket rocket just loves to be thrashed and revved to death and the way it cocks a leg like an incontinent dog under hard cornering looks (and feels) awesome. The combination of those tiny cars and that wide track and those beautifully balanced powerslides is a match made in heaven. Strap me into the motion rig, crank up the audio, pop the Rift on and leave me alone for the rest of the day..!
The latest CSP optimisations mean I can run the maximum 26-car grids on my 980ti/6600k combo and still stay well above the ASW threshold with high settings. What a time to be alive! :)
Are you talking about this one?

I don't know - is it the same as this one?

Track config. It may even be the one that was released last september (iirc), but that did not work anymore. Maybe it has been overwritten or so ?

I tried to upload it yesterday on the site here, but it did not work (even after renaming).
So here it is on Mega:

Thanks mate. I keep forgetting to say, try deleting (or disabling first, lol, just to test) the Okutama VAO patch. IMO it makes the track FAR too dark in places, especially under the tree canopy at the tunnel approach and through the tunnel itself. I think the track looks a LOT better without it. I tried lightening the VAO patch which helped, but the tunnel was still dark. You'll be amazed how good the tunnel looks without the VAO patch - you'd never have guessed that all those wall tiles had such detail and colour..!
I reckon ACU did a really good job with this track and the VAO patch isn't needed at all.

Thanks, but even without removing the vao-patches in the extension folder, I get the same good result while using the BLM lights app. The vao slider has three settings, using the middle (or second one) has the same effect, at least details in the tunnel are clearly visible and it's bright enough under the trees.
This what I mean: left is setting 1, right is setting 2 in the BLM vao slider (switch):

I got thru the application and then saw this page -

which translates to -
Inter-proto e series] Machine MOD application
Thank you for applying.
We will send you a participation acceptance email later.

Waiting for the email.....
i would even participate at that event, im racing against australians all the time. but like i said, they wanna keep it japanese

Its an on/off switch only, so deleting the vao is the same as switching it off
standard patch app has switches too V+/- ; Vo/N makes vao-colors visible

Ah, OK. I have not used the standard patch. Just have the BLM car and BLM lights on my screen. I get three possibilities using the slider (switch) dark/brighter and some grey/monochrome... (don't really know what that is supposed to do)... :embarrassed:

I did not realized we had an issue, what did he “fixed”? Showing the driver in the mirror works for me, I can see myself in mirrors irl.:), what am I missing?
The driver reflection had disappeared with 123, 125 and 127 (I think). He's back now in 128. :)

You are turning it off with that setting, but it will be back on next time you start a race. Hence - delete.
:)
