Lol in Assetto Car News they posted my post (sorry) about the Clio Cup mod as a hot new. They even used my own screen capture

Yes, it will not work in the car data folder.
I you use Shader patch, you have an extension folder in document/Assetto Corsa.
First adjust the mirrors with BLM cars, that will create a .ini for that car, in document, Assetto, extension, real mirrors. Enter FLIP=1 to un-reverse a mirror.

Ah yes, now I found the location: Documents > Assetto Corsa > cfg > extension > real_mirrors.

Added the text and it works... thanks.

The Smitraxx version is horrible and in accurate (I've driven hundreds of laps there in various race cars and drove this version months ago), so thats why were working on a proper one. 33 spots, lights coming, bumps in right places on the track and accurate. Still a wip but its about %95 there. Soon :D

I didn't know, but that's good news ;)

Maserati Tipo 61 "Birdcage" 1.0 Limited
Maserati Tipo 61 "Birdcage" 1959

Little gift for the community.
All scratch built with some blueprints ( really wrong ) and a lot of different photos as reference.
Every one of the 16 cars built is slightly different, so take it as a "standard". Interior is modelled using a single photo as a reference, so something can be little wrong this time.

Correct power and torque, correct suspensions ( double wishbone at front and de Dion axle, with transverse leaf spring at back )

Sound modelled using videos and some editing, not perfect but a lot of rOOooAAar.

Skins came in 4k, but, for people with low-end pcs, there is a folder called "LO_RES_skins" with 2k textures, just rename it to "skins" and voilà!

The folder structure is a bit different, there are some textures for driver model too, for cool new driver's suit and helmet colours.

THANKS
As usual, big thanks to @luathas for some fine details, like fantastic tyre mapping, engraved spinners and some tweaks in INIs.
And big thanks to @andy-R for the majority of cool historic skins.

LIMITED VERSION
Lods still WIP, searching for real audio.

0.9 was extremely hard to ride ) but its fun, old is good

Just downloaded the Oreca 07 again as I have reinstalled a new AC as I had made too many changes on data without backing up the original AC.
The first time I had Oreca 07 installed it was working really great.

When I have reinstalled the Oreca 07 and started a race, I have received a message that the sound was broken.
FYI, this time I have decided before all to remove all the KS cars I didn't aim to use so I would have a shorter selection between GT3, LMPs, etc. no street cars.

I have looked for a fix on the forum but can't find anything. Would you have a solution to help me?

Yes, i Think it has the Tatuus sound. So maybe get that back in. Or just pick a different grunty sound in CM from one of your other mods

Yeah sorry about that I have no idea how to share files
Next time just pack all as one file with 7-zip, zip, rar for example. Premium at mediafire only means that they don´t support "Bulk-Download multiple files and folders" with out premium, but packed as one file is no prob at all. :)

And sorry, forgot to say thx for your work you did with AI! 👍 :gtpflag:

So here at GTP with regards to car mods, it seems anything goes. Ten versions of the same car or a poor rip, as long as it looks good in replays and/or is fun to drive, it's a keeper.

What about tracks? If there exists two otherwise equal versions of a track, but one is less accurate than the other, which track is best? Is there room here for two Le Mans? Would you keep both and actually use them, or would one get deleted?
it will not be deleted, bc two versions of the same track with different features are not the same, sure bring on what you got

Oh ok great. That's what I thought I had to do, reinstall a KS car which sound was used by the Oreca... but didn't know which one.

Thanks a lot!

That looks fantastic! It's really come a long way from the bare-bones version you sent me a long time ago. Looks like you no longer need any help with the billboards?

Speaking of Sim Traxx, if I'd ever spent penny one on 'early access' I'd be extremely peeved about how many tracks are left half-assed and unfinished. I've got early versions of Pacific Raceways and Shelton Ridge Raceways from around 18 months ago and both were driveable and show a lot of promise, but have been left to fester. As far as I can tell no further development on them has taken place.

If they ever man up and admit that they've been abandoned then maybe the GTP Modding Team could take over and actually do them justice. Both are really nice layouts.

Trust me, I've had many long talks with "******" at Simtraxx, its purely an illicit money grab. And even their finished stuff is garbage.
Simtraxx should be avoided by any means, in any way. Shady practices, long voids in emails, no replys, countless people taken for $$ and no return (no, I haven't paid for one of their hideous works).

You can search on RD for simtraxx in the forums - speaks volumes.

And thanks Masscot, it has come along but I don't wan't to release it until its 100%, getting there. Recently had 5 more replay cameras done by a very good 'cam guy'.

Now, whats left is 3d grass and lights. If anyone knows or wants to do them for Portland, please let me know.
Then Chris Haye wants it for review. ;) Well not want, I approached and he asked if he could give it a YT preview before release.

So that's why I'm holding out until its 1.0 ;)

I am new to sharing folders but this is Rudskogen ai and fixed starting grid. I hope this works
(Thanks Slider666 for making this link)

AI is doing well and the timer works correctly now (during race that is, haven't tried the other modes) 👍

Hi, ok, You must not understand what are the tracks on RD. They are old builds from exports to RBR and rFactor 1 enhanced and converted to AC
SIM TRAXX has the highest quality in modding but only if its paid properly. If we get 2500 EUR monthly sales so what You expect?
We are doing lots of private projects for private companies who pay enough for us to do the top job. The public tracks are underfinanced and therefore some of them are not fully finished and are waiting for better times and better graphic engines or newer simulations.

Also You probably didnt test many 1.0 we have and give Your opinion about some free old updates on RD.

Perhaps instead of talking You want to team up to create something bigger and better so people are happy and have lots of highest quality content like our new Transfagarasan and Magnolia 1cm laserscanned which cost of only scanning for Transfagarasan amounts to 30 000 EUR and Magnolia 10000 EUR. We spend dozens of thousands for creating high quality content out of our own pockets and SIM TRAXX is in debt some 100 000 EUR at the moment. Honestly speaking about money grab You must be joking. Its people like some people on this forum who grab and redistribute our tracks for free that result in decreased updates and overall slow works.

Anyway I am up for a debate how to improve alot of things in SIM TRAXX so everyone is happy.

Shady practises? state what practises, long voids in emails (stupid anti-spam filters and change of system to store for these reasons), no replies - are You kidding me? I could create a road from here to the moon with all the letters I wrote to reply to thousands of people, countless people taken for $$ ? where are they, why do they not write to us on all our media channels including FB, instagram, twitter, our website email, skype, discord, You name it. Everyone that at least tries to contact us is getting reply within usually 1-2 days so please stop craping all over our hard work for years.

Is this too low quality? then make a better one with such tiny budget as we have. Ah forgot You are working on Your 1 tiny track for years whereas we are working on 60 tracks over 3 years and most of them are looking already very good and accurate. Portland is inaccurate, funny cause it was made from aerial laserscan, so it must be incorrect right?

First we are here to deliver driveable, accurate roads so people who drive in reality on these tracks can train before the real races and rallies, quality was never our top priority as we cannot compete yet with AAA games. However the quality is steadily rising as we get more loans and budget to hire more people working on these tracks. Some of the tracks sell better some worse so it also much affects the works. Example that Pacific and Ridge sold only some 20-30 times thats a whooping "money grab" for like 200-300 EUR ! WOW , do such accurate track like Pacific for this budget and make it look good in Assetto Corsa and I will be Your fan.

Muppets You say? are You on the dole and getting a real crack? Come on man, You man up and support our work and You will get the quality You want from us.We try to arrange sponsors for tracks to cover some costs so the public projects prices can go down in the future, we are automising alot of new solutions (to decrease costs of manual works) and working on new highest quality and optimisation and all this for all open source sims like AC, rF2, RBR, beamNG, rFactor 1, AMS, gRally, some ne w UE4 and UNITY based sims and even perhaps our own at some point. We ran the long road from amateur community to professional laserscanned tracks VR engineering. We create laserscanned tracks for USA based companies so they can prepare for sem pro raliies, we created the track for AUDI and Real Madrid sim event on which Christiano Ronaldo and the team drove it.We work with architects to design real circuits in USA and all over the world. I can go on and tell You more about what we do, but its better I go back to work so someone can then release it for free on this or other forum and spit on it.

No, I'm not on the dole nor am I on crack, but I appreciate your concern.

You say "quality was never our top priority as we cannot compete yet with AAA games" yet there are plenty of amateur modders who produce AAA scratch-built tracks in their spare time and release them in a complete state for free, yet people who paid a business like yours for 'early access' to tracks like Shelton Ridge and Pacific Raceway have been left dangling in the breeze for almost two years, and those tracks seem abandoned. Are there any plans to complete these tracks? The biggest criticism of Sim Traxx has always been that you start too many projects and don't complete enough of them. The second biggest complaint is that your corporate clients take precedence over your public funders. The threads on Race Department are full of disgruntled Sim Traxx customers who feel deceived. This can't be news to you, surely?
