Well ... now I definitely have to try again. This time with the right settings, though. Phenomenal time. đź‘Ť
Video of my fastest lap below although alien Ben has got his watch out again and gone 0.011 faster. May try again when I have a lot of free time and see if I can improve by 3 tenths and see how tough Ben might find it to beat.

Had a tough time keeping the back end under control. Wants to slip out under braking, cornering and accelerating:scared:

It seems really tricky under braking, especially last sector. Ruined quite a few low 2:17 times there, was about 4 tenths up on WR and completely messed up the last sector which was annoying but hopefully I can get an awesome lap together by the time this round finishes. I think potential is to get into high 2:16's but car is quite difficult to drive so unless I find something in setup to make last sector easier, very unlikely I will achieve it.

I got you beat then. I messed up every sector, not just the last one:sly:

@JASON_ROCKS1998 Will proof from RSR be enough as my game crashed so couldn't screenshot time yesterday. I did a 2:18.145: Link. Haven't had the time to play so far today so probably be beaten if someone sneaks in a quick time but better than nothing. I have attached proof for another time (2:18.283) if other time is not accepted.

Only the second time will be accepted. There's only 10 minutes left anyway.

Hard to judge which car will be fastest, I'm guessing the McLaren going by the RSR times. I think it would have been more interesting to drive on a different track as already had Nurburgring GP in one of the rounds but I imagine should still be fun and also saves time learning a new track.

Been looking forward to a GT3 time trial but alas I still have no load cell :(
Do you think you will receive it in time? Hopefully you do.

I wanted to stick to default tracks and AC doesn't have Hockenheim, or at least the AC website doesn't say it does.

Like Spa!

No I don't, it's coming from China and sometimes it takes nearly a month.. I tried configuring the clutch as a brake but it's really hard going from a stiff load cell brake to a relatively soft travel based pedal. Not fun at all. It's ok, it's not like I'm challenging for the championship lol, I might even post my times when I get it after its finished purely so I put a time in to compare myself for each round.

There are other tracks like Spa and Zandvoort for example.

Yep.

That is quite a long time to wait, hopefully it arrives sooner rather than later. I wonder how your clutch pedal compares to the G27 brake pedal or DFGT pedals, as long as it is responsive then should be able to do quick times with it after getting used to it.

I think the main problem is that it is quite light and isn't linear or progressive in its action, it has that cam to make it feel more clutch like. I used to have a G25 with a GT-Eye spring and could use that ok, but since going to a load cell it's really hard modulating a pedal that has no weight. Can't threshold brake at all, and forget about trail braking..

Spa will be being used next round or maybe the final round.

That should make it a bit more tricky then. The only high end pedals I used are these for a few laps and got adjusted to them quite quickly:

Pedal weight doesn't make much difference for me, so going from say the above pedals to DFGT pedals wouldn't take me too long to adapt.

Man this car is a slippery beast:scared: Been a while since I ran a GT3 car in AC but I don't remember any of them being this hard to control.

Good first sector, did you change much in setup and any tips? I always was losing a lot of time there which probably means I lost a lot of time elsewhere too. Deadline however was 30/09/2015 10.00PM UK time.

This car is really quick on the straights, I find the Ascari chicane hard to get right with this car.

Hooked up my wheel to my PC for the first time in 3 months so I had to have a go. Are there any good racing series for AC which anyones knows about?

Looks like my winning streak is coming to an end. How much potential do you think you got to improve your time further or are you close to your limit? I don't know any good racing series as I never participated in any or looked into it.

I'm not sure, I only did a handful of laps. I braked a little early for the last corner. Will have another go in a bit. :)

That was with optimum track grip, 21 Celcius temperature. I'm guessing we're allowed to go off track until the game penalises us?

That's seriously impressive. Have you changed much in setup? I'm running RSR Pro settings but with no driving aids. Are you doing your fastest lap on first or second flying lap?

I imagine yes regarding track limits.

The only setup change I made was dropping the fuel to 9kg on that particular run. Ran that time on my second flyer.

Regarding the aids, it seems I was running the RSR pro settings apart from running 21C rather than 26. I had everything else off.

I can put up a vid if you like. đź‘Ť

Will try hopefully later today and see how tyres grip on second flying lap and if all goes well beat your time. Will be interesting to see a video of your fastest lap, do you know your sector times?

How do you find out your sector times again?

I had another go at 26C, no noticeable difference. My previous PB had a faster first chicane, you can see from the video there's time there. I think I was on for a mid 40 at one point. I don't have RSR - what's the fastest time on there?

When you press continue after setting time, should tell you your sector times for your fastest lap. Impressive time, you can see RSR fastest time on this link. Why don't you use ShadowPlay to record instead? Looking at video, I'm assuming you are driving with ABS?
