Think your prob right mate.(changed my mind) Stick with same cars. This is a great laugh. Plenty of other lobbys for serious stuff.

Exactly. I don't mind tough racing, but the best thing about the fun racers is the fun. With seriousness and tuning and the need to get the car exactly right a lot of the fun goes out the window. Let's keep the one car setup, and if we want serious stuff (as you put it) there are lots of other lobbies for that.

I don't mind being proven wrong though, but the races I have tried with either weight/power- or PP-restrictions, the race is no way near close at all.

I agree with this. I love the fact that we all have the same car, it makes it fun and challenging. To *ME* it really lets the driver shine. It makes it that much harder to chase down the leaders after I totally blow it by running off the track lol. After all is said and done, we are FUN racers and I enjoy that, whether I'm dead last or leading and blow it on the last hairpin, I can walk away knowing we all had fun and no one is butt hurt.

we usually have a few spots open. Feel free to hit us up! Always looking for people with good attitudes and TRY to respect the others on the track lol. We all make mistakes sometimes and we don't get mad at the occasional contact.

After all that talk of having hard ons last time, is blowing it in a hairpin or running of the track while blowing it really the appropriate thing to say? Just asking... :-p

Seriously, I should stop drinking beer and go to bed now. But I won't, though. Completing the dream car race right now, hopefully I'll be golding it this time around. Crossing fingers...

Again, I'm sorry for my inappropriate humour.

On a more serious note, it would be nice to hear what the rest of you think about the way we should be racing.

xtrorace
are you all filled up?

Seems there are quite a few slots still available. Let's see what 250 GTO aka CSSdk aka the Dane will say when he wakes up tomorrow, but if you are up for some fun and not too serious racing, my bet is you'll have a treat waiting next Monday ;-)

Dude, ive downed half a fifth of bacardi tonight and I never once thought of that convo lol
i only have the endurance series left to complete... geesh this is not going to end up well with the above convo lol.

Sporting hard ons??? no? Okay :)

Anyway, welcome to this here little racingshindig xtrorace, you have been added to the list, and the same goes for you diabolicwyvern. Just add my psn_tag when you get the chance.

About the whole car thing. The next race will be in one of the cars of the recommended list, and I think we should stick to that format until we run out of cars to drive, besides who says we can't use the same cars twice?

C ya on the race track, and keep them wipers....uhm... wiping???

Finally got round to completing the A-spec beginners racers, using a Lotus Elan S1 '62 for the last 2 sections. I also bought a Corvette but that didn't seem to want to go over 100km/h no matter what extras I added. I have wasted lots of money but finally realised that all cars have a limit and adding more expensive extras doesn't necessarily make them any faster.

Anyway, the Elan, is paying itself off by winning 65,000 for each time in the Special events for classic cars....tonight some good old grinding with the Elan so I can buy the cars I need to complete amateur series.

Of course, I am doing 15 laps when I can with a 350BHP FR Car every now and then......to get ready for Sun/Mon.....piti must be stopped...Autumn ring has lots of corners so I really recommend 'weak penalties' on to stop those 'short cut takers'...like me..:dopey:

👍

I shouldn't of brought the subject up really..:dunce:...the format is fun, easy, inclusive and different from other race nights....we are 'fun racers'.

Nothing wrong with bringing new ideas to the table, and at some point we may have/want to shift to our own cars. :)

I have added one of my friends aswell - darkphantomfox (he's an assassin in his sparetime)

If you need a car to complete something just tell me.

I don´t need to be stopped, is 250 GTO aka CSSdk aka the Dane who has to be stopped, don´t pay attention to me ;)

No, actually i didn´t know about the Dane neither, just found out a few post ago, but i must say that Batman does not drive a red car :D

That attachment doesn't work I think :)

No biggie, I ended fiddling around with a Opel Vectra instead. It now has just under 400 hp, and laps the ring in around 7½ minutes. :)
