Thank god I'm not the only one having an issue.

I agreed with you on this a page ago LoL:dopey:

Mission accomplished:cheers:, F2000, SCAR-H, L96 and Pecheneg specialist assignments completed. Only got 150 kills or so on each class for the "Dedicated" assignment to do, Wich will come with normal gameplay.

I got all of my Claymore kills in one and a half TDM rounds, Then the round after that (CQ) a kind random sniper in my squad had SOFLAM equipped So i got my 4 remaining AT launcher Vs heli kills. So it wasnt as painfull and tedious as i thought it would be. :)

+ I had my best Conquest round in a while tonight (i will post the report later), I went 61-10 or something and improved my best killstreak from 23 to 31! I was solo in the tank aswell, It was the best vehicular work i'd done since i started playing.

Here it is - http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/#!/bf3/battlereport/show/54711823/4/335903511/

Just played a round of CQ on Seine and it crashed again. DICE Y U NO FIX SEINE CQ >:(

Hmm... I've only crashed once on Seine and it was a few months ago on a GTP/ACE (my platoon) squad-up. We base raped the other team for over an hour :D Then at the very end of them game (as the "YOU HAVE WON" popped up) it crashed. Caz, Cowboys, gatrs were all there (and ParkourVeyron was on the other team for a spell :P)

So I just got kicked from another server for killing their helicopter. However for once I got a chance to get my own back because I caught their name by looking at the server admin via friends still in the server. I'll just leave this here, the report cheat button is on the top right of the profile and I'll say nothing else about reporting but this is how you do it. Abuse of admin powers will be my description.

I know Theewar was in game so the link is useful for him, but lookout for NA War Room server (and the above player being in it) on PS3 because trying to stop their most powerful vehicle from owning your team is considered a crime.

I dont care about stats, but admins who Badmin usually have low stats and this one is no different. Especially considering how long they have been playing. XD

Had some great games tonight. The last one was my best, at least until I froze. Was on the very last MCOM on Seine and I was working on a 19-0 spree with a Holographic SV98 + M1911. I had just gotten hit by a M320 and then crash.

...nearly every crash except "You have won/lost" screen had to do with the M320 or M16A3/AEK-971

If you get kicked for using a certain weapon that they've 'banned' you should report them too because on PC (at least) if a ranked server has rules against certain weapons they're supposed to lose their ranked status. Most of the time I live and let live but banning weapons is against the EA terms, as far as I know from the founders of my clan... They refused to ban the M26 while it was glitched because they didn't want to risk losing the ranked status for our two servers. Maybe they're wrong though, I just took their word for it.

I don't much mind people setting their rules but kicking people for playing to their rules is insane. In the aforementioned case it said no spawn killing, but the chopper had almost made shore by the time I spotted it and came in on Kharg Rush which can hardly be considered spawn killing really (they were still attacking first MCOM set). I could have understood had I hit it on take-off.

Rented servers are already proving to be a huge problem because DICE haven't left enough normal servers running through the normal Rush playlist or CQ playlist, infact I can never find one running the full CQ rotation so I have to resort to rented servers and spend an age trying to find one worthwhile that is just normal tickets normal maps (seriously 30 mins or so is long enough on a map!). All of my major complaints around BF3 are centered around the rented server/lack of official server issues, it often actively makes me not want to play knowing how long it could take to find a server worth being in.

I usually play on the DICE epic battles servers, as they are the only normal all CQ servers I can find. Randomizes through Caspian, Firestorm, Oman, Kharg and Wake. Problem is the only ones I can find that are not full are Australian.

This is correct, Banning certain weapons/playstyles or kicking people who use them is against EA's terms and conditions. However they never do anything about it, Because most servers almost always have something banned in the description.

Well I've decided to start my own Platoon on Battlelog if anyone is interested. Most of the information is included on the page which I will edit a link in to this post when I'm finished.

Though I'm a member of the GTP platoon it isn't exactly brimming with activity on Battlelog and I think we can all agree we spend most of our time just playing with our own smaller groups GTP or not. I'm hoping to drum together a fairly small team who play every other evening or so, chat via skype or in-game upon request and just play in regular servers together as a unit.

23rd Kaizen Battalion

Edit: I'd also like to take this opportunity to mention my guide I never finished once again, put simply I didn't bother because I didn't really enjoy doing it as I've stopped taking BF3 as seriously and I'm more focused on just playing the game whilst giving my 2 cents in this thread anyway. I am committed to running this Platoon much more because I'll get a tangible benefit back in playing with people regularly which I do tend to as it is but hopefully I can unite a few individuals in to one tight knit group.

I was in that same game yesterday.

Joined theewar, spawned , killed by chopper gunner while dropping mines, respawned , got into T90 , with my 2nd shot the enemy chopper is down and I get double kill, 10 seconds later I'm kicked.

It gets bit annoying with all that banning/kicking recently. Because of that BS my quit ratio is around 20%. Some servers have the most crazy rules ever, like "vehicles only for admins" , "no support class" , "no mines" , "no people with level higher than 100" etc.

Anyway it is good to have your favourite servers bookmarked and not join games through "quick game" very often.

I never use quick match , always browse and go for DICE servers commonly. I just want to play some of the other maps like Seine CQ and such every now and then so I ventured in to rented servers alot yesterday.

Back on my platoon, later on once I'm working I may consider renting a server for it if there's enough active members.

I've applied. Usually on from about 8pm UK time but always later on a Wednesday as I run in the evening.

On the subject of servers, check out Shaxb0tzam's server. He usually has a good rotation of rush and CQ with normal or slightly increased ticket counts. No stupid rules, just no glitch guns and no camping (campers get trolled).

Accepted, send me a PSN invite when you get the chance and I will probably see you in the field later 👍.

I've got a list of mostly Classic Only DICE servers, but I think I might delete them and make it Epic Battles instead. At least moreso.

It'll be interesting to see the 'biggest map in BF history'. I can't imagine a map bigger than the one in Bad Company 2 that took place in a countryside with a huge wind farm in it. I'll have to Google it and find the name of it...

The maps name is Heavy Metal, which was in the 7th VIP map pack.

I remember that kinda.

I remember that that was pretty big. Zatar Wetlands was pretty big in BF2.

Heavy Metal was big but there were bigger ones in BF2, I can't remember what it/they were called (because I played BF2 for about 2 hours between BC2 and BF3).

Oh lord I need to get Premo.

Atacama Desert, Harvest Day and Oasis were pretty damn big in BC2. The only one that comes kind of close in BF3 is Firestorm, but hardly.

I feel like such a noob... I've played all the BF games before. Just got BF3 (not limited edition). I came pretty late into BF3. Now, I'm just staring at my TV screen; watching that patch being downloaded (all 1383 MB of it). I don't think I'm going to get Premium. Don't feel like spending MORE money on a game. That's why I think the DLC should be free, otherwise don't include it at all. (You can call me cheap; I really don't care. I know I'm not the only one who's NOT getting Premium)
