Yup, that's the control scheme I played with at the Tokyo Game Show. Didn't particularly care for it but got used to it quickly.

Just go into options in the pause menu and change the controls layout to "veteran" how it was in BF3.

There is no way this will release in 2013. Its way too early for another Battlefield game and there simply is no way this will be ready by 2013. Way too early. This will be out in 2014. You know you dont want me to bet on this. :sly:

Is it too late to bet?

The veteran controls for vehicles aren't the same as those in BF3 from what I could tell.

Dice had an in game prompt saying changing to veteran would go back to the old control scheme. I only did it for on foot so I'm not 100%.

Okay, saw that map, remembered Goldeneye 64 and now I want BF4.

Is more of the same, but I didn't realize there were 10 maps intead of 7(not sure if that includes the chinese rising DLC).

Didn't want BF4, but now I do (for PC).

Definitely looking forward to play Rogue Transmission (and all of the others maps) on PC. Love the GoldenEye movie and the game for N64.

Only a few more days. :D

Ya, unfortunately do to the need to include the battlelog button the control scheme for vehicles was completely changed. So much so that I gave up using tans in the beta to avoid raging and ruining the experience.

Does anyone think that this game isn't worth buying on current gen consoles? A part of me thinks that I won't get the full "battlefield game".

I'm on the same boat lol. Honestly though, I feel as if it's better to get either the next gen console version or the PC version.

What???? Pre-loading????

I don't get that option on Origin!!! :odd:

Interesting. I know Brett and I were both part of the early beta, I wonder if the same criteria was used when allowing pre-download. Would see odd though, everyone can play the game on the same day as far as I know, regardless. Seems they would want as many to preload as possible to spread the server load around.

Well, I did have the beta, but never got around to play it. Because DICE and their Beta Bugs...

Oh well, as long as I can pre-load it before release i'm fine.

I bought my game on Amazon. Amazon sent an email yesterday saying that my card had been charged and a time that the preload would be available.

Unfortunately, this isn't true. Release days are around the 29th to Nov 1 depending on region. Except for Japan. We get the game November 7th.

While the game is not yet available, Battlelog is available to look around in. I have just started looking around at everything.

Look at what I got!
