Last night I almost did it. I had one 5s penalty with a time of 15.99. :banghead: I shared it in game if anyone wants to check it out.

Nice, my best today was 15:19.989 penalty free run and FL of 1:08.269 in another run.
I feel I can still go faster, the hard part is the AI swerving all over the place. One run they were 3 wide blocking the whole road lol.

Where do replays go btw? I've saved a couple but can't find them anywhere. In the show case it only lists two unrelated ones.

It is showcase.

Like @Magog said, Showcase > My Items.

Managed to win it with the R32. Added the High RPM turbo, racing brakes, pads, air filter and sports medium tires.

Passed up the RX7 on the final lap, too.

I was seriously dreading this race, since my Tuscan, and Viper couldn't do it. But after narrowly winning it and getting the clean race bonus, 10/10 would do it again.

The Gr. 4 NSX really works!

Even with one unfortunate penalty, still won by 15 seconds :)

Tried it can't get better than 14th difficulty hard. I've tried loads of cars R8 R34 Grb B scooby Road car just keep hitting the barrier maybe every other lap and that totally kills my race. Will continue with this. Maybe I need to change the difficulty 😄 hardest thing in GT7 I've found along with licence S10 for me.

Dude this helped me so much, I have been trying to win this race all week. It was a fun challenge and I learnt a lot, thanks.

I did it on Easy because difficulty doesn't effect the payouts.

Adjusted the Huracan and won by nearly 30 seconds with 27:27. Probably want the brake balance to the rear as it wore the fronts much more than the rears. Doesn't need fuel mix 6, somewhere around 4 will do it, depends where you shift. I went to 7th gear at around half bar on the long straight. The penultimate lap was slow because I saved fuel to go for fastest lap on the final lap, but the tyres were too worn for the final lap to be any good. The car is extremely easy to drive, even with TC 0.
Thanks! This (when combined with setting to easy) got me a clean win by ~5 seconds. Once I got into a rhythm I was lapping ~2:16. Felt a bit understeery in slow corners at first, but I just needed to scrub off a bit more speed.

Whilst it was a bit of a challenging race and I was glad to win, it’s a bit too full-on for me to repeat for credit farming. The penalties kill me. I’ll stick to the WTC 600 Le Mans.

Is the clean race bonus 50% or 100%? I read somewhere earlier it's 100% but I've only been getting 50%. Is it because of penalties?

Last night, I did another run, this time with the Corvette ZR-1 (C4).

Topped out at 300 km/h+, good tire wear at SM tires, and also nice fuel economy.

2:12 is possible with it.

I'm currently testing the Alpine A220. Sport Medium tires. HP remain as is, but ballast is cranked up.

On Tokyo East (dry), I managed a 2:10.

I will then put it in the actual race.

Tried a few cars, eventually won it with the F12 which is quite strange. Isn't the greatest through the twisties but the straight is a breeze. Oh, and it's evil with assists off

If ever the Tomahawk's PP exploit gets patched, here's another awesome alternative:

Can do 2:10 when track gets dry.

Also, I pit in on Lap 10. No-stop can be possible.

Server is back online, patch installed, Tokyo run still works :)
I'm actually surprised, but I guess updates take weeks to do and it came a little early? I think Tomahawk may get patched when the new cars come along.

So you want PP 600 for Tomahawk S ?

Here it is.

TL;DR: You can win but much more difficult and demanding. Buy a Tomahawk X.

I was messing with differentials but I think default would work, you probably could able to change differential values without throwing PP away. Maybe. And the blue digits in transmission could mean that it was saved as adjacent value but changed by the game when I open the tune sheet, I can't make it disappear, so hope you can actually dial in these numbers ...
Thank you for this🤗 i would also say for tyres IM or SS work. Although on the Tokyo race intermediates work better for me. I don't know why I bought the Tomahawk X now😄🙄

I really would love to read more about normal cars here since there is even a thread about the glitch grind https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...-tomahawk-x-performace-points-exploit.407464/

But maybe i‘m the only one so feel free to ignore me.

Currently i like the Murcielago tip from here most. Up 325kph on the long straight (fastest lap 212,2) with FM3 (one stop).Somehow it drives like a tank (and with almost 1,7 ton it IS a tank :D),lot of understeer but its just a matter of braking a little earlier.Nice challenge, easy win on“normal“ if you don‘t do more than 5 sec penalty.Fun race nonetheless.

Been fooling around with that event again today.

The R32 GTR I mentioned above can do a one stop with fuel only if you use Sport Hards. It might not set lap records like Suswillo's R35, but it gets the job done.

Hello, i use google translate, sorry if I make mistakes!

I share my new build with more HP (CV) SRT Tomahawk X VGT (600 PP) for Tokyo Expressway:

V.1 - 2496 CV / 753 KG (596,39 PP) Start Racing Hard

V.2 - 2496 CV / 753 KG (580,50 PP) Start Racing Intermediate

I play GT7 with PS5 controller and I prefer to use my build V.2 for semplicity in the first 4 laps in the wet, very easy:

(V.2)
  • TCS 5 / Automatic Gearbox (controller)
  • Start Racing Intermediate
  • Economy 6
  • Before starting the 5 lap enter for pit stop
  • Change tires with Racing Medium
  • Fuel up to the point raccomended by the game
  • Always Economy 6
  • Finish the race fast with these tires

17 minutes (the time in the screen) with controller PS5 + 1 PIT STOP is a good result but I'm sure it can be improved.

Thanks to everyone who is working on improving this car for this event in this topic, I'm waiting for your feedback, thanks!

BIG MONEY ❤️
This set up is so fast I ran out fuel a lap and a half before the end

Hello,

New build SRT Tomahawk X VGT (600 PP) for Tokyo Expressway:

V.3 - 2496 CV / 753 KG (598,65 PP) Start Racing Medium

  • Economy 6
  • No Pit Stop (High fuel consumption, do not use automatic transission and controller)
  • Manual Gearbox to save fuel (wheel)
  • Use DRS on the straight

For automatic transission and controller you can use my version V.2 (1 Pit Stop / 17 minutes easy)

I'm waiting for your feedback, thanks!
Hello , Tried the build today, It comes to PP=841 . If I change the tires to Heavy, PP=567. Is there any other settings on your build that I may miss ?
