If you're using the Tomahawk, then...it REALLY doesn't matter if you pit or not. I kept the fuel where it was aty 1/6 and still finished like 3 laps ahead of everyone.
It does... If you pit, you are slower. :)

You can finish 5 laps ahead of them.

Thanks very much guys.
And special thanks to @praiano63 .
I won the race by 10 seconds, I got 10 seconds penalty. Or otherwise it should be 20 seconds.

I play with joystick and I think this is almost my limit.

I think this is one of the most fun race in GT7. Thanks very much.

Oh and apparently, hitting the back of lapped cars still still give you CRB. I was so mad at one of the backmarkers and accidentally smacked it and real hard and spun him, but still gets the clean race Hehe
I don't think you can lose it at all. I've had all kinds of incidents with the AI today, always CRB. Although it's always with lapped cars, I'm past the field before exiting the tunnel in that Tomahawk lol.

Best so far was 15:59 race time with 1:11.182 FL. @zacscy's setup is incredibly fast with one pit stop for fuel and RM tires. 5 laps ahead, and going flat out without mistakes makes them line-up nicely on the straight for overtaking.

Got the Alfa Romeo just in time and back to being poor (for the moment). It's limited stock now, will be sold out some time tomorrow. 20 mil is do-able at 3 mil per hour. And no chance to nod off at these speeds :)

Yeah. Was so pissed off with those front 3 when using on-par cars. With tomahawk, easily first by end of tunnel 🤣🤣

That speed the tomahawk has is insane.

How do you unlock this race?

I guess my collector level is probably too low or I haven't finished enough menu books or something,
because I can't seem to find this race anywhere.

I used the norti tomahawk , set the fuel mix the max lean so you won't need fuel , gears to manual , intermediate tires and pitted when the track dries an put on Racing Hards . Also used manual gears and you could if you felt like it do the whole race in 5th or 6th gear . Main thing is to avoid the "DingleBerries" and just cruise easy 18 mins race .

Hello, i use google translate, sorry if I make mistakes!

I share my new build with more HP (CV) SRT Tomahawk X VGT (600 PP) for Tokyo Expressway:

V.1 - 2496 CV / 753 KG (596,39 PP) Start Racing Hard

V.2 - 2496 CV / 753 KG (580,50 PP) Start Racing Intermediate

I play GT7 with PS5 controller and I prefer to use my build V.2 for semplicity in the first 4 laps in the wet, very easy:

(V.2)
  • TCS 5 / Automatic Gearbox (controller)
  • Start Racing Intermediate
  • Economy 6
  • Before starting the 5 lap enter for pit stop
  • Change tires with Racing Medium
  • Fuel up to the point raccomended by the game
  • Always Economy 6
  • Finish the race fast with these tires

17 minutes (the time in the screen) with controller PS5 + 1 PIT STOP is a good result but I'm sure it can be improved.

Thanks to everyone who is working on improving this car for this event in this topic, I'm waiting for your feedback, thanks!

BIG MONEY ❤️

I've had a bit of fun doing this one in my own weird way, had a quick browse of this thread and some of the total times are very fast!

Anyway I have an A110 that gets close doing a no stop race, I finished 2nd/3rd +4 seconds but had 5 second penalties both times.

Switched to R34 GTR and won it easily by about +8 seconds again no stops.

Really enjoyed this race.

Ford GT '06 with SH tires, threw on some ballast and a power restricter to tune to just under 600, one pit at end of lap 7 - add enough fuel to finish race (5 laps). Fuel Map at 1. When the lead car pits late in the race, first place is yours. And - don't hit the wall, a 5 sec penalty is enough to kill your win. 207 mph in the long straight.

Totally agree with you on the R34, it’s my fav car for this race before the Tomahawk golden goose run and will be again after it gets killed by PD.

Obviously I had way too much fun with the Tomahawk. Time for me to test some more legit candidates.

I bring you, the Honda NSX '17:

I used to HATE this car in Sport because of its erratic behavior. Now, even in 7 it still is quite of a handful, but thanks to the fully customizable LSD that now allows adjustment of the front differential (you can't do so in GTS), the car is much more composed.

The result:

Fastest lap time: 2:12.xxx

@RCKakashi14 Nicely done! But I don't know if I ever can go back to lapping a full minute slower on Tokyo East  That Tomahawk speed is addictive on its own.

It's not easy to keep the CRB with it in WTC800 though and not worth the credits to cheese that tournament. 100K per race plus 250K for the tournament. 750K to 1 mil with CRBs.

Yes, AWD dominates the best options at the moment, IMO. From my testing at 600 at Suzuka, the Huracan has been the best normal car I've tried, but the R8 and NSX are the next two after it, so I'm not surprised the NSX can do well here. The Aston Martin VGT is on another level to any of them, though.

How do you do this? Is there a procedure of what you have to change first?

I did the exact same settings as you and I end up with the PP with a triangle notice OR with over 1200pp.

What do we do first to make it so we can have almost 2400hp with below 600pp?

This tune uses the same gear ratios and its 2349 Bhp yet still under 600pp.

How? Exact same gear rations, but as soon as I up the HP I get either a triangular or 1200pp...

Hello, you just have to copy exactly what you see in my screen, no particolar procedure.

You can put your screen for comparison?

Have you tried fully upgrading the intake and exhaust options?
In my experience, fully upgrading those and lowering the power restrictor setting gives better performance.

I bought the NSX for this race but haven't played with it much. 2:11 is pretty exciting. So far the R8 2:10 is my benchmark car.
