You don't have to pay insurance on bounties anymore.
On this note I had a funny moment yesterday when I had another 1k bounty. I was only in my tornado so insurance was 375. I saw a guy coming round the corner as I was waiting for a mission to launch from the quick job on the phone. As the mission launches he blows my car. I see a message saying "xxxxxxx paid 375" but when I went back to freemode I still had the 1k bounty so I think my guy warped out of the car as he blew it up so he still had to pay the insurance but didn't get the bounty.

That's hilarious.

I had a comical session last night with some friends. We were just doing races last night and were doing that to help a friend's sister-in-law rank up. We did a user created race that had a cool jump in it and then did a bike race. The host left traffic on by mistake which lead to a slew of chaos and bike crashes. After that, we did a plane race. Before the host started the race, he said "I remembered to turn off traffic guys." The plane race became a suicide fest because everyone was hitting the wind turbines. The second plane race became a suicide fest as well when people missed turns and crashed, and the third plane race was a GTA race. Mayhem everywhere (in typical GTA fashion) and I took third after crashing into someone and dying right at the finish line. That was a good night.

Everyone must have been drunk on the Plane Races. Have they even bother checking out the Flight School before this happened?

Well, it was hard to play because everyone is dying in laughter from the "player X committed suicide" screen always being full! It didn't help that the default jet it gave us was a pile of crap and had the turning radius of a brick either. Trying to get it through the turbines was a pain.

The whole getting blown up in the shower immediately after loading GTA Online thing was a nuissance, but not terribly frustrating in that I just started back in my living room.

Much more frustrating was accepting a land race invite this morning (auto-invite undoubtedly) to a motorcycle race I'd never seen before, and indeed hadn't even been rated yet. Custom vehicles were allowed but I don't have a bike so I picked the 801RR and was off to the races. The first 30 seconds or so was okay, dirty racers but I was holding my own, until a [difficult-to-see] ramp sent the host to the roofs above Morningwood--everyone else had to respawn and try again. Short distances between landings and jumps then rendered it impossible for anyone with a rental to clear any of the jumps that followed. :banghead:

My Daily Objective List: Participate in a Rally Race, Collect an Export car for Simeon, Kill someone while off radar. Off radar, peace of cake. Rally Race, surprisingly found enough players for one...and unlocked those Metal paints at the same time. Could not find an export car to literally save my life. Had a 9 grand bounty, and a level 13 on my tail the whole time. Level 13 finally catches up and I aim my rifle. Little did I know I had my sniper and he gunned me down easy.

Here's my time on GTA today organized into a list:

  1. Drive by a random player
  2. Get picked off by a sniper
  3. Get accused of trying to run over that person
  4. Person keeps coming after me
  5. Hide in LS Customs with a Fusilade
  6. Spend $60,000 on parts
  7. Come out and get picked off again
  8. Person steals car
  9. Pick THAT person off
  10. Get car back
  11. Get killed again
  12. Somebody else steals the same car
  13. Car is destroyed and so is my budget

Tried to kill an annoying player on the mic. He was in a Gauntlet (Definitely looks like he stole it), I was in my Zentorno. I try to shoot him from behind with my AP Pistol.

Game lags. Hard.

Takes about five seconds for my pistol to actually shoot. He blows up my car. Have fun paying for that. Scrub.

He runs off, I call for my Insurgent. He steals a 9F. Try to chase him around center city, then he runs off to the Great Ocean Highway. I call mercs on him, since he's increasing the gap between us.

He speaks up when he's passing by North Chumash. "You're not going to catch me. I'm in an R8, you're in a... *brain shuts down*... minivan."

A minivan.

...

k den.

As we're approaching the connecting road before the bridge to Ft Zancudo, he spins out and crashes.

Now's my chance.

His car is facing the road and I unload entire clip into the drivers seat.

"HOW IS HE NOT DEAD?!"

The entire lobby disconnects.

🤬

Yeah I had some bad lag last night, trying to play mission. Trying to drive to the location, he was skipping behind then he was ahead of me wtf. It was a kill a lawyer and when we reach his location the lag made hard to target him. Somehow we complete the mission, and we go to the screen option to select another mission. I say heck no and leave.

I just did a friend's custom Lazer and Hydra LTS at LS airport with friends. It went well for me- 3-0, with a 3-0 shutout win, but that wasn't the best part- everything that happened afterword was comical. During a round of the LTS, a guy inexplicably decided to go AFK. When he got back, he was being blown up by a guy on my team. He wound up spending the next two lobby wait times cussing out us because he died, and then he tried and failed miserably at killing the guy that killed him. I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

Let me guess, you were in a Lazer.

Both teams had access to both jets. I was in a Lazer the first two rounds and a Hydra in the third. I just grabbed the first jet I could get to every round regardless of what it was.

Ok. I was in a Lazer vs Hydra dogfight about a week ago, with me piloting the Hydra. My god that thing is awful against the Lazer. It is also extremely difficult to shake a missile lock, too.

Definitely a sign of playing with hackers.

My day of GTA Online in a lobby with terrible players in missions.

>Start mission
>Start in the middle of the map
>Call in my Armored Karuma
>Let 3 people in my car
>Get my Savage
>Wait for people to get in
>Someone steals my Savage
>Once my Savage has no control
>"Mission Failed"

Thanks now it feels slow earning the Hydra...

This is probably why I'll never bother doing heists with randoms

Dear guys who repeatedly kill me and destroy my car, I'm sorry you're so bad at this game that you need to find an ego-boost by taking out level 6s.

Dear guy who gave me $4 million (through hacks I think) thanks. Seriously, that's pretty damn nice. Now all I need to do is level up so I have something to buy...

Joined a Humane Lab set up. Everyone else was on motorcycles....the only ones who can suicide on the way to the set up. So on the way I may have accidently knocked a few off their bikes. And the kicker for me is when anyone decides to throw me from the driver seat is an immediate leave set up, fail for them. Plus anyone who thinks its fun to destroy other players cars during a mission/setup/heist.

I just met one of the worst, objectively speaking, players I've ever seen. Level 173 and he was so inept that to complete GTA Today I had to steal three of the four cars.

Joined a a Prison Break finale, 25% which was 250 grand. Restarted a few times, but when we finally were airborne, the dreaded 5 star glitch hit. Pilot attempted to fly out to sea, only to fly out of bounds.

I did make 350 grand today .
