Sizing systems? It's a film, in most cases, so it's either pre-cut or the installer cuts it as he puts it on.

This.

Its a film with an adhesive. To be honest I don't think they are precut which is why its important to have someone that knows what they're doing to put it on.

Where I went they use a computer that laser cuts it so its accurate to the millimetre. They just type in what car it is, and the program has shapes cut for it so its very very accurate.

Well I got an update and the first replacement pulley KB sent had the same exact issue the one that came with the supercharger did. They sent video and pictures to KB to have them overnight another one. Right now this is basically the only think that's keeping from completing the supercharger so... bit frustrated but I'm glad the shop is doing it right. Just not sure ill get the car back before i leave for vacation next week.

I'm beginning to feel the effects of withdrawals. :scared:

Do you get nervous when leaving your car in a shop for that long? I'm having a mild breakdown as mine goes to the shop for a respray next week. I have nightmares of the shop boys going for reckless joyrides blaring ACDC while drinking a sixer of Bud Ice.

If it was a shop I didn't trust or was the first time having work done there yeah but I trust these guys. This place also stores cars too, a lot nicer cars then mine. Plus if I wanted I could give them the second key and limit the speed they can go in it. :P

Here's a quick, crappy recording I did with my phone. Doesn't do the glorious sound of the exhaust justice but at least you can hear the idle whine from the SC. :P



You know when I say "that sounds good" inside i'm like "Hnnnnng! :drool:"

And a wider angle shot just for good measure, get to see the new grille on too.

All in all, $3042. Thats the entire front end plus mirrors.

I know I can get it done for cheaper but I want it done right. These guys do the repairs for the Lotus and Lambo dealers in Atlanta.

For the car itself? I'd say routine. Truly the only thing I took it to the dealer for was its first oil change. Do it! I love this car! Not sure off the top of my head how much ill check when I get back.
