So the 302S must be a '13 model.

Sorry should have been more specific. It isn't a trim of the mustang lineup. Its a hood made by Tiger Racing that has a contract with Ford to produce these hoods for their race car. I'm on my phone right now so its hard to put up a photo. If you do a Google search for 302S hood you should see an unpainted one in the images.

Here is the hood unpainted:

It's around 360-370whp stock. The cars are underrated, but not enough to be putting out the same power Ford advertises at the crank.

Yeah that's about what they make stock. Although mine has a CAI and tune so if Steedas claim is correct I should be putting down 400-410hp. I never did a baseline dyno so i guess I won't know what I really gained but I plan on dynoing it soon.

Ah, ok.👍

I thought you had a catback as well on it.

Nah, only a set of axle-backs.

I pulled the trigger today. I ordered the tiger racing 302s hood, saleen grill, hidden side exhaust with electronic cutouts and 3M clear bra.

That clear bra is going to do wonders in the end. I have it on the 3 & it's definitely been worth every penny. Need to touch up the TL before I put one on it.

Looking forward to the hood & grille.

Yeah I've been wanting a clear bra on mine for quite sometime but I kept putting it off.

I was tusseling with the hoods paint for awhile but will be a two tone. Body color and matte black on the vents.

Not related to my mustang but I'm thinking on taking on a project car. Something like this:

What do you think?

do you want to restore it and keep it original or are you planning to make it into a powerfull car with a massive engine?:)

Fix it up. Make it look nice, not really looking for a car with lots of power. That's what the mustang is for. :P

Guess I should specify. Its a 1998 VW GTi VR6

From the mimimal research I have done on it in the past it sounds like a good thing in order to have that instant kick of a super charger but also increased top end power from the turbos.

Are you considering?

I saw an article in 5.0 magazine of an '03 cobra that has a Kenne Bell and Hellion HellRaiser turbo kit on it producing over 700hp. Just got me thinking I guess, Don't think I can afford it assuming each kit is about what? $6,995 each?

In other news the only holdup on my upgrades are the hood. The people that make it, Tiger Racing, are currently in the middle of race season. So apparently they're kind of neglecting the production of the hoods a little bit.

I'd pick it up more for a daily then a project car; that should be the Mustang's job. But, that's just my opinion. :)

Nah. I wouldn't trust that thing as a daily as of now. Truth be told its owned by my buddy. We will see. Meanwhile, still waiting on that damn hood. Getting slightly impatient now.

This is the shop I'm having the work done at. The guy making the video, Addison, is a great guy and very knowledgeable. Plus it's always a treat to visit the shop for this reason:

I've made my decision.

I'm going with a polished Kenne Bell 2.8LC supercharger. We shall see but roughly I'm expecting around 550 to the wheels.

Probably will end up being more around 525.

Highly doubtful.

KB's website alone claims they made 601whp with just the S/C over the car's original 377whp & with some owners claiming around 575whp with an aggressive tune, I can see BB easily making 550whp since the car's stock whp averages around 370.

Yeah with the SC I should be pushing more than 600 at the crank.

Ill try to get videos of it being dynoed when this happens.

Now I have to find a buyer for my Steeda CAI and tuner.

EDIT: well its ordered now to wait for it to arrive.

I called them up Thursday, they informed it had arrived Tuesday but their shop had been swamped all week so he said it's better if I dropped my car off Tuesday. So i'm dropping it off Tuesday and hopefully late next week or early week after next i'll have a transformed car! I also asked the guy to video the car being dynoed for the baseline and also after it's installed so hopefully he takes good video.

I'm excited for you man, its like getting a brand new car. I had my GTR dyno'd before and after its pretty cool to see. Do you know what kind of dyno? Mine was on a mustang dyno and those put out conservative numbers, as the dynojet usually shows much more power. Congrats again. :)

Sexy car this Mustang, loving the rims. 👍

If you are ever passing by Abu Dhabi/Dubai, let me know. I'd like to see if your Mustang is worthy enough for my Z.

Thank you for the comments! If i ever do pass by there I will. Got any pics of the Z?

So I was trolling a Mustang forum I visit alot and apparently since the '99 Mustangs there's this "easter egg" where if you hold a certain button, it changed as the cars changed for mine it's the "RESET" button, and turn the key to on it goes to this "Engineering Test Mode". Then "Gauge Test". You cycle through alot of things, mostly cryptic but some actually useful and cool! I made a small video.

Sorry for the cameraphone, didn't want to focus at all. Also apologize for the mumbling, i'm notorious for that. :P

Its in the shop now! Got to see the supercharger components and.... I want to see it in engine bay already!
