Three races, same track, laps and pit windows for this season. Not a bad idea for next season though, even if success ballast is nearly impossible to do with these regs.

I am gonna miss round 2 due to something going up.

So I am gonna start off on the back foot already, I am gonna do some testing now but I would be surprised if I can get top 8 results. Monza just gonna be bad unless I find a bug within a setup I guess.

Also no one listen to Furi - he's talking out his arse about the VW, didn't even test the car when he made those conclusions on it being too fast.

P.Macs VW looked handy at GVS and it got pole at Tokyo. Maybe ask if he'll share his setup if you're struggling?

Or change car if you think it's that bad? You've got ~21 hours before deadline, maybe even more if you ask rolo nicely.

Paul is a very good driver and very good at setups and if I want to be as good, I need to practice and make mistakes to improve my understanding on the car setup, cos it will help for future rounds if I understand the setup and what works and doesn't etc.

I'll stick to the car, FF best for me and I don't have Hyundai so I won't mess around with Rolo's settings, best to keep things simple and try to make the best out of what I have currently. Plus he is my team mate and don't want to pi** him off.

As I said, the VW was like on ice in some places around GVS. I also had to really hang it out at both Toyko and GVS to keep pace with other cars. Also my pole lap was helped a little by a slower car I picked up draft from.. As such since I was pushing so hard just to keep up the laps in the VW were very inconsistent. If I were to have took it easier I didn't stand a chance of touching the Teggy at Toyko, a power track, where the VW shouldn't struggle. Which ofc means everywhere but Monza will be an uphill struggle for the VW..

Anyway as most know I can usually pull pace from any FF that others might try and throw it in the bin. The Seat last season was a good example.

Not interested anymore, just one comment. You complain about the VW Scirocco and TOCA4.2 and the BMW in S3 still. That was a year ago. Obviously, I haven't given you anything since.

I think I have a spare Hyundai Andy if you want to try it. It is a similar kind of beast though.

Change car if you want, as long as there's space. I encourage anyone to do it if they feel their season is screwed already.

Think it's already becoming clear that the Scirocco is a one-season machine...

No I am ok. If I change cars now then I go from a car with some testing to a car with no testing so not much point.

Quite tempted to re-introduce the Mazda Atenza for this season in case anyone wants to back out of VW.

Clearly it's causing trouble and it's not even Round 1 yet. Can't be arsed to deal with another 8 weeks of squabbling (except I won't have to, because the points deductions will start arriving if everyone doesn't quit it).

I've no idea, but it seemed most people thought I was lying about my pace and then now everyone is not commenting on how it is slower...I will probably be the only one to race the VW unless Paul is their, the other two VW driver's haven't shown up.

They went because they got reported - clean up the bad drivers. Some guys like Rolo are very good and skilled and I enjoy racing against, a field of Rolo's and it will be a whale of a time. I left because of the bad driving - hope it's all ok now Rolo. 👍

We have a good field of drivers. I enjoy racing here because there aren't people who cut corners or divebomb on someone and don't accept they have, or push people off the track after being tapped off by a mistake.

I respect the full time drivers here. I respect Rolo for doing an impressive job and for the stewards who are good at the judging situations.

Can never guarantee 100%, people make mistakes. Generally though, standards in BTCC are quite good I think. I handed out very few penalties in JSCC. I'm glad there's such a good core of drivers here - necessary for every series. 👍
