Sure, I'll put you down. Still one full-time spot left. Honda now full...
Thanks. I have the car prepared to specification and I've driven a first couple laps. It seems it can do decent lap times with me behind the wheel, so I'm confident.

I thought so , lol

Thanks need to join that btcc title club , I think ill win by 1 point this season

Gonna be a close season. But I can see who's gonna be in the top 3 but wouldn't be surprised to see new winners.

I really need to work on VW setup. It's great if you can nail every lap, but brake too late and it goes straight, miss apex slightly and understeers badly, really hard to drive consistently and fast; comparing to Honda which is much more forgiving but VW has potential.

What's happend to killer & julle?

killa struggles with the Thursday night slot, so he says. Often has family commitments that evening, which is a great shame because he's been a great asset to the series.

Julle PM'ed me the other day - he's been proper busy with his studies, but he said he hopes to be able to have the time to make a comeback in the Summer, so we may see him later this season :)

I heard the VW is the car to beat , it got banned in TOCA for being too great .

Hope I can keep it honest .

TOCA regs were different. It had less weight and better tyres than ours. And Furi drove it so it had to be faster to only just get into top 10....

From testing I got the Honda into 1:16.7 at Rome and VW into 1:16.8 but VW so hard to do lap in lap out.

Integra DC5 is in this season thought it was a standard one..

That'll be fastest then.

Was able to get down to 1:16.2xx in the alfa. Theres maybe another 1-2 tenths still to gain going by my sector splits....in race will probably be 1:16.5's as I was able to hit that fairly consistently.

That's very quick. I might test that Alfa.

The '03 model is the standard one, which is OK and is in the series. The '04 car on the other hand, the Premium one, is definitely too quick.

Weezy runs without aero - not sure what difference that makes. Besides, no more room in that inn :sly:

Damn, I've got the wrong car then. I'll see if I can get the '03 one but I've got a feeling I'll soon be driving a Nissan nobody seems to want. Ah well, let's make the best of it.

Yeah, surprised nobody has gone for the Nissan. It's really not that bad.
I've done a quick test on Laguna Seca and I could crank out a time exactly 2.3 seconds longer than with the '04 Integra, 1:38.446 to 1:36.146 to be precise. Could still turn out to be faster once set up right. My first times in the '04 Integra were 1:40's so...
It's a lot harder to control coming of the corners though.

Your testing the wrong car :)

Quick tip: You'll need to be doing 1:34s if you want to be right up there.

That will be because of the rear-wheel drive. Gotta be careful not to boot the throttle too hard on exit. 👍

My best at Laguna was a 1:34.4xx.

Any target times for Indy Road, Cape Ring & Nurb???? Got a 1:22.2xx at Cape ring; was a very frustrating track for me; still some time to be gained but I just can't figure out some of the corners there.:grumpy:

As i posted sometime before the Alfa and Weezy seem to be a great combo and he is setting times I cant even match .
