Have you confirmed the tracks for the test nights @rolo912011? Sorry if I missed it. I did probably 100+ laps at Brands Indy before so I'd love to drive them there again. I can't even get out and have a proper test because of my disconnection issues at the moment but hopefully I'll be able to join.

They need shoving around Autumn Ring and then Fuji GT. It will give an idea of whether or not the car is biased to a particular style of track.

Ascari will definitely feature. Ian's mentioned a couple of others that will probably be very useful. Motegi East also quite likely. But probably none beyond those four.

Rolo, I'd just like to point out that the S60 is now 11 years old - which makes it the oldest fart out on the track...
As well as that, it's also being used as a Super Tourer! So NGTC Cars with an old Super Tourer - recipe for disaster!

Just a further on test racing, next Thursday will be Ascari for sure, at least to begin with. Plan is to perhaps run a full-distance race and maybe a half-distance one.

Thursday after that a proper race night sim.

@Malcom Tucker - I'm testing online. Thankfully my connection allows me to host my own room without getting disconnected, so I test online usually on my own and with the correct room settings.

I only ever test offline to learn the track, any lap times that I make are recorded online, it's the only way to do it. I can remember the old days of GT5 where online and offline had different physics. Lol

I wish that I could join the test races Rolo, but sadly I can't. I can only really tell you what times I can manage. I'll try the other FF cars when I get some spare time.

I've scrapped the idea of the extra points for pre-qualifying. Will make a decision on practice sessions instead of qualifiers very soon.

All the Hondas are just too quick to be honest. Even when I max out the weight they still go too quick.

I might have a look a couple though. We had plans for success ballast so I only put 140 on max, but since those plans have been scrapped there's another 60kg to play with. Plus, post game update it may have made a difference.

Yeah only one version of Ascari.

I need to confirm which rounds of the season will be at night. Probably just one.

Views on wet racing? Or complicating things too much at this stage?

Here's how Thursday night's gonna go:

Lounge opens usual time, aim to kick off about 7pm. I doubt more than 16 will want to attend, but if that's the case then first come first serve I'm afraid.

1 - Normal length race at Ascari (9 laps, pit 3-6)
2 - Normal length race at Autumn Ring (15 laps, pit 6-9)
3 - Normal length race at Fuji GT (12 laps, pit 5-8)

Please try to make the grid as varied as possible in terms of car choice! I'd prefer it if you used the same car all night but you don't have to if you don't want to.

Then I'll try to gain some insight into the lap times to see how the cars are doing (although I'm aware it could be down to tuning). I'm sure in 3 proper races we'll get an idea of which cars are in need of a cut or a bump. 👍
