Bugatti thread.

It was on some cards next to GT Psp game.

Thats a high resolution GT PSP version of the Veyron, I have the cards and looking closely it looks too good for GT PSP (because the resolution) but not good enough for GT5.

Interesting, besides being the most advanced and extreme car ever to be mass-produced, what exactly do you think is overated?

It´s actually a bargain compared to it´s "rivals" if you even can call them that.

It was overrated hugely by the media and fans of it. I remember just about every automotive program and magazine covers featured it. Even my friend, who doesn't even love cars half as much as I do, said, "That new Bugatti is just amazing from what i've heard". Then a year later, when the SSC Ultimate Areo came out and set the new world speed record for a production car, I heard almost nothing about it anywhere, which was kinda sad in my opinion.

I'm not saying the Veyron's a bad car (it's probably excellent), but I hate it when one car is favored to a certain extent.

Then you don't understand what made the Veyron so different.

It wasn't just the fastest production car, it was also amazingly luxurious, easy to drive and surprisingly agile.

I've witnessed Rafanel making the tyres squeal on the demo Veyron at the Prescott Speed Hillclimb, which is just over a car-width wide. It handles immensely on such a narrow track where I've witnessed a big accident involving a lowly Peugeot 205. Having seen nine at the event over three years they lose their 'wow' factor, although one of them was the Pur Sang, which was amazing.

I personally think the veyron is a stupid car. A hypercar that looks like a luxury car on the inside? Bah... that and in gt, as a racecar the fuel mileage will be a huge issue. They should drop the AC, radio, and fancy seats and replace them with a bigger tank. Yes its an amazing car but I think the concept is dumb. That said I personally can't wait to drive it. :)

I want the Veyron SS and it deserves to be in because it is the fastest production car. If the Zonda R gets in for setting a new "production" car nurburgring record than why not?

The Bugatti's both normal (if that term can even apply) and the SS are absolute marvels of engineering. Having said that I can only see a handful of instances where the car could be driven the way it craves. Kinda curious how it would handle the Ring in the real world. But I have my doubts the brakes/cooling system would hold up to all the acceleration/deceleration required. I think reaching top speed was the only thing they had in mind not racing.

The Bugatti dealership should have
EB 110 GT + Veyron Spyder
As for the std Veyron can't wait to paint one pink and put green wheels on it (joke).

It's called the 'Grand Sport'. I wanna see the Super Sport, Pur Sang, Sang Noir et al. Good shout for the EB110 GT btw.

Please make it happen PD:

The veyron isn't all that great. You can do anything when you want to charge millions of dollars to your customer. Big complicated W16, you add 4 turbochargers, and there you go, you got your rocket. Now real piece of engineering can be found in the McLaren F1, super light, naturally aspirated, drop dead gorgeuous, and seats 3. Also, did I mention its almost as old as me.

It's far too easy to dismiss the Veyron when presumably you haven't seen one in action. The F1 is great, but then it's also not intended to be a luxury car. The Veyron is.

They are amazing cars (I saw one speed up the goodwood hillclimb) but a bit odd! Think what it could do stripped out? It could blitz the competition at Le Mans, but the concept is McLaren F1 mixed with Rolls Royce Phantom! Go as fast as possible, but be as comfortable as possible??

I'm looking forward to the new SSC! Maybe that'll be in the game...

As you can see<< I'm a huge veyron fan. I just love how technically great it is, so luxurious for the world's fastest car and as for the engineering it's a masterpiece. I don't understand the fanboys of either cars though Americans always bring up the SSC and how the veyron is **** and europeans do the same basically the other way around. My claret and blue veyron supersport is my dream car...if only i was rich eh!

I'd bet my house on the standard Veyron being the only Bugatti we get in GT5.

No chance in hell we'll get the Supersport, and equally Bugatti themselves hardly aknowledge the EB110's existance because it was a different company, so the chances of that being in are minute.

Looking forward to losing my house and being surprised though.

There are so many similiarities between the EB and the veyron. Look at the front lights.

Providing its in the game I would like both variants of red and white but if they have the Veyron SS (which i suspect is unlikely then I'll be exstatic.

Possibly suggests the veyron is only available by unlocking it in a race or event? or DLC.

Very well could be the case, it may even be that you choose whether to look at the dealerships with the premium cars or another option for the dealerships with the standard cars in?

I suppose whatever it is we don't have too long now to find out ourselves
