YAY KIMI

 KIMI,

and psss. i think someone hates the track because renault lost đź’ˇ

and u dont see mclaren and ferrari complaining about difficulty setting up for this track

It was a good race in my opinion, and Massa did a great job defending his position from Webber there. đź‘Ť

Solid Lifters
Plus, the chicane right after the long straight because of the strain it puts on the brakes. These two areas are too hard on the cars.
Actually I think the hardest turn to the brakes is the one where that Jordan spun out, I don´t know its English name. The car goes from 300KPH to 70KPH, it´s a 1st gear turn.

Thanks for the link, that´s a helpful map. But the turn I was reffering to it´s called L´Epingle apparently. Turn #10.

It's french for hairpin. (virage en épingle) "Épingle" alone = pin though, we don't specify the hair bit :)

Ah, it makes sense. We call it "curva do grampo", which is something like "pin turn".

So ... Go Kimi :D

Thanks for running into a wall Alonso, you made the championship so much more interesting. :D

Well done Ferrari, you managed to finish and it got you some good points.

When that big crane thing came frighteningly close to the hairpin to move Sato's car, did anyone notice a minardi almost run into it? With the crane that close to the racing track I think they should pull the safety car, it could be so much worse. :indiff:

Way to go Kimi!

Nice one for Ferrari, though their positions were mainly from other cars falling out....but that is racing, they finished.

A bit yanked about Trulli, though that was a pretty rad brake blow-up...still he had a great race until that, way to go!

I wouldn't blame JPM for his DQ...that was McLaren's issue, they shouldn't have let him out of the pits, though they hard already screwed him and taken the win away from him due to when they called him in after Kimi. It's obvious Ron has a #1 driver now. Wait McLaren's driver's are equal....sureeeee...

Webber.....uggh. Even though the fianl move on Massa wasn't really dangerous it just looked dangerous. Webber just rubs me the wrong way!

Renault....considering this is there first really abd race all year I'd say it was ok. Though I am kinda seeing a pattern start in typical Renault fashion of dropping off of pace mid season....it's looking good for Kimi!

All in all alot better than I thought it would be.

And most importantly, for us American F1 fans, NO MORE RACES ON CBS (until July). Derek Daly needs to be stopped and that damn pen of his needs to be taken away from him. Raplh Shehen is just a babbling idiot (BTW, what does Raplh normally cover, I can't remember....)

My wife and I are off to Indy on Wednesday...looking forward to it, I'll call in now.

USGP

1) Kimi
2) Alonso
3) Trulli
4) MS
5) JPM
6) Fisi

What's McLaren supposed to do? Hold him in the pits until the light turned green? Or let him go to the light and wait there until it goes green? If they hold him in his pit, then they lose the time it takes to get from their pit to the pit lane exit. Of course, they're going to let him go, it's up to JPM to stop at any red lights he sees.

As they said on F1 ITV yesterday, JPM was called in before Raikkonen, but he misheard the radio message. McLaren have been very fair with their drivers in the past

What a great race!

Amazing effort from Montoya.......hard luck about the black flag

Kimi as usual on form.......great drive

Button...............come on did you really have to hit that wall?

Shocking retirements from Renault.....

Barrichello starting from the pits and working his way up to 3rd to finish.....now that was some driving.......

It is a scariliy thin track..... :ill:

:) đź‘Ť

Oh and I agree.......mclaren are fair with their drivers unlike some teams who force teamates to pass...........mentioning no names... :grumpy:

I feel sorry for Fisichella the most. He has pretty bad luck with Renault. If he held up, he might've have gotten another first, or at least a podium.

Yeah, I saw it. The Minardi driver came back on course and blocked Kimi, then; once Kimi got by, he proceded to block MS. WTF? It's bad enough when the Minardi's are moving chicanes, but when they don't move??? :yuck: Minardi never has top drivers, but these boneheads are worse than usual. There hasn't been a race this year that I haven't noticed a Minardi blocking a car trying to lap them at least a few times during the race, and that's only what they catch on TV! I wonder, between both cars, how many times in a race a Minardi screws up someone who's trying to pass them. đź‘Ž Here's a clue guys: when you're driving a car that slow, check your mirrors!!! đź’ˇ

Good race for the entertainment side of things.

Massa, the Ferraris and Kimi did very well, and not just because they came in the top 4 :D

JPM made to many mistakes typically, and Jenson made a very silly mistake.
