Hey, if someone hasn't driven their Prius TC, and doesn't mind modding it, could you apply Engine Stage 3 and an oil change and tell me the horsepower?

Sure be glad to. ;)

EDIT: It says 238 HP, LancerEvo7. :D --- Randy

So im running b spec historic, Ive used b spec a little but not in a while. Trail mountain was easy and my little guy won first try, Im currently running my second race at monaco and I have to say, I dont even know why they put this b spec crap in the game. I feel like Im watching a computer play a video game, no fun at all. I just told my guy to pass, hes 2nd place with 2 laps to go, and I am totally not excited in any way.

I have had this happen A BUNCH. It totally sucks because B-Spec is so helpless....

What car is your bob running? I had mine running in the Toyota 7 and he was awful! Did you tune the car in anyway?

I had him in a Toyota 7, im not sure if the car is tuned or not since I rarely drive it. He managed to pull out a 2nd place at monaco so I think He'll be able to win there tomorrow. I still think b spec is a waste of time.

Lol. I agree but it is a means to an end, you can get a few decent prize cars from it. The Monaco race is very frustrating, probably too me 6-8 tries before he finally won it. I was close to throwing my PS3 out the window, stupid Bob.

EDIT: And now there's a b-spec seasonal event. lol

Oooo, has anyone tried the cars on Kart Space?

What are you doing here at this time of day/night?

I'm going to download the patch after work and take the Cappy for a neon cruise. Should be entertaining!

Aw, just got back from work an hour ago. Chillin' and playing BF3, posting from Origin :)

I ran some on laps on Kart Space last night in the JRs and 125s (no full cars). The JRs are pretty similar in speed to the karts we run in our local indoor karting track (similar track layout). The 125s I struggled with to get to brake and turn smoothly without hitting crap. Fun little track, great for a novelty evening of racing.

B-Spec seasonal?! I don't know what is worse, them making one or my compulsion to gold it

Final chance to voice any opposition/concerns to postponing Round 4 to next week and switching to Indy Oval from the custom track. I apologize for the inconvenience but I feel like it's the right thing to do given the current situation.

If the majority is ok with the change I will make the official announcement later today.

I can share my Alfa (might be shared already, but I'm not sure it's broken-in) if borrowed cars can be used online, so save someone from b-spec. Could share 2J as well.

I think you can drive borrowed cars online but I know you can't make any changes to them, not sure if they gain miles either.
I'm sure the Alfa won't win the Historic B-Spec but the 2J will easily, if Bob can keep it off the rail. :)

Wait, there's a game out there besides GT5?? Hmmmm.........

Apparently there is also something out there called an eggs-box. Personally, I won't believe it until I see it.

p.s. I'd love to borrow someone's 2J and promise to look after it. My Bob's useless in the Toyota 7.

I don't think he'll do much better in the 2J, sadly. But it's fast enough he can catch back up after a make-out session with the armco. :)

Get my 2J online today for you RDA.

👍 Gracias Owens.
I've not come across the Alfa before, but all I can say is "Want". Christmas is still too far away and I'm not sure how good a boy I've been!

Prepare to fall in love at first drive! It's the total package; looks great, sounds great, drives great and has a very cool interior view. And on SS tires it really feels "alive"! :sly:

Man the other day Brandon and I did some driving. We decided to turn off all timers and gauges. Use cockpit view and removed ABS. Went for laps on few tracks. Talk about an incredible experience. As he mentioned it really felt alive.

I wish we could restrict the ABS, cockpit, timers, and gauges via room settings. Have a real hardcore race. :)

I don't think we ran this car with the ABS off. I tried that last night with the Alfa at Spa and if I even looked at the brake pedal the thing would insta-spin. Turned ABS back to 1 and everything was fine again. I did run a car during that session with ABS off though and it was great....maybe the Caterham?

Running sans-HUD though is truly breathtaking, especially with the setting sun at Nordschlife.

With ABS=off your brake balance needs to be shifted forward.
Works in the Cappy too. Smth like 3-1 and it's pretty decent braking feel. Except for the first lap turn 1, lol.

I've experimented with ABS off on some cars and it's really hit and miss. As mentioned above brake settings like 2/1, 3/1 come into play. You can use the 0 (zero) setting as well, as only PD could make something that is zero, not actually be zero. Try it and you'll see...lol. Even 1/0 can work on some cars, but I think the key is if the tires are pretty skinny, or harder compounds they are going to lock up almost no matter what you do.

I struggled with the Historic Race at Monaco. I looked up a tune for the Toyota 7 and although it looked wonky, I tried it and it seemed to work. My shared car has it, but it was basically max suspension settings all around, low camber and toe, and I set the tranny up to make the all the gears were tall, as in the slider all the way to the left to help with wheelspin.

Bob struggles in the chicane at the bottom of the hill after the tunnel. Sometimes other cars run into it ahead of him, sometimes he runs into it all alone. I was using speed up once I hit the front straight, speed down exiting the tunnel. Basically if he starts to kick the back end out on exit or rubbing guardrails you have to go speed down. If he hits the guardrail and spins or stops or another car does in front of him and he hits him at any point during the race and stops, just quit and start over, you can't win the race at that point if the Chapparal is out in front.

I'm cool with the race at Indy. Be interesting to see what happens in a race where you can rub in the corners and tuning really doesn't come into play. Could have a whole different outcome and maybe the circle racing fans could come into their own here.

RDA the 2J is shared on my profile.

As well the 2D less HP better handling and Yota 7 is there.

I figured the Alfa would be popular with this group, but didn't expect it to be quite this popular! :) Looks like we'll have us a nice little Alfa Club soon.............💡

I'll have my lounge open this evening driving the Alfa around Spa, so if anyone's interested in giving it a whirl feel free to join.

If we are running Alfa's on Friday I'll need to break mine in, oh such a chore :D

An Alfa racing club eh? *cough* Sunday's after 9 EST *cough*
