That's a lag glitch. It happens sometimes. If you ever suspect that it's happening again, let the others know and then back out and re-join the room.

phaakk, sorry to anyone whom i may have really slowed down or affected in any way.
really sorry

I dont think some would feel it. Last week in another season the same thing happened to me. I came fourth overall even though for me it was 1st. lol. Yet when i checked with everyone, i had not interfered with anyone and I had raced as if i was first, driving my line and all. Now i dont know who i overtook over the course of the 10 laps. But i know i did battle it out with 4 others who were visible during the start. After that is really up in the air. lol. Oh and i finished 11 seconds behind the leaders. haha

this might sound a little retarded but as i have never really participated in an online racing league im not sure if it is supposed to be like this. the race i was in i only saw 3 other people and myself but heard audio from many people. was my race messed up or were we actually split up into separate races?

This has happened to me a few times in the past but not in quite a while. When it happens I don't think it causes any problems to the drivers you can't see. To help prevent this, be sure to clear your cache before every race event. If you're not familiar with this process, go to your "settings" in GT5 and under "network" there is an option to "clear cache". It just takes a few seconds but usually fixes these problems.

Round 1: Race 2 at Cape Ring South is tonight! My lounge will open at approx. 9pm EDT and we will start qualifying at 10pm EDT sharp. The race should start around 10:20-10:25pm. 24 laps at the Slippery Cape, be sure to get some practice in as this proved to be a rather grueling race compared to the slightly shorter races of last season! It took a lot of effort and concentration to keep the front end of my Cappy pointed in the proper direction for the whole race on Tuesday. :)

Yeah coming out of turn 3 is quite the pain in the rear end. It seems like you can take it at speed, but then it just oversteers into the wall. You should have seen my tire marks there the other night after about an hour or so of practice. Rest of the course though seems to work out fine w/ the Capp. I always did like Cape ring though.

I wish I had that problem, mine is good everywhere except that first group of s turns. Hopefully I can get it figured out tonight b4 the race, if not I just have to remeber to take it easy there. That last turn is fun, I can get so close the wall, it's gonna make for some good pics.

I have some problems through the s turns as well, feels like I should be able to get through there flat out but I always have to lift a little bit and maybe a touch of brakes. I'm on ice-skates through the first hair-pin but can really fly through the last 2 hairpins. A very tricky track, for sure!

If you're planning on attending the race tonight let me know by posting on here so I have some idea of how many to expect and don't wait around on people that might not make it. 👍

I'll be there in my Orange and Green Cappy holdin it down for the U, Fridays my primary night.

I should be there, depends on how late I stay up.
Likewise.

Sounds like somebody needs a cup of cappuccino!!
You might add another person to that list. I was so tired, I couldn't keep good control of the car on the track in the latter phases of the Tuesday race. :D

it is not my main race night but if there is room i will race again

Not as many people have declared Friday as their primary night so I think we should have plenty of room. And everyone is welcome to run as many nights as they want as long as there is room. The more the merrier!

I'll be there and with the s section I have to lift for a split second on the first turn but then can lay the hammer down

i can take friday as my primary night as i cant race on saturday after noons due to work.

oh and since i dont race online that often and usually just pick a room at random-- how do i know what room to go to. and if this was posted and i missed it sorry.

I should be around tonight but it looks like it could be a full house. My main night is Tuesday so feel free to punt me if you need space...but punt Lancer first as he finished ahead of me...lol.

Anyone have a room open? I am in my Private Lobby getting some Practice in.

Looks like my lounge is open! To get to the room, make sure you have me on your PSN list, then go to the Community tab in GTLife. Click on my name, then click on the yellow circle above my coffee cup. See you at the Cape!

Congratulations to Wiifreak on winning his debut race in the Cappuccino Cup! Great race tonight by everyone, gold star to the drivers at the back for staying well clear of the lead lap cars. Next race is tomorrow at 3pm EDT, my lounge will open around 2pm.

Yes indeed, Lancer and Wii left me behind in 5th, and Yuri and Owens slipped up. It took 16 laps too hold off Owens and that still barely enough.
