Cars with unusual traits

When I've been driving around, I've followed a few C30's and have looked at the brake lights to see if they progressively light up and they didn't seem to. But they are C30's and not C30 R-Designs. It might just apply to the R-Design models.

It's a legality issue in most countries. Here in Australia, a brake light must 'burn with a constant intensity', so progressive lights are illegal.

Mercedes also had to change their brake lights for the S Class because they went really bright and flash during an emergency stop or something.

I remember reading somewhere that (at least) e46 3 series with led lights had progressive lights as well.

I may be wrong on this one but the tom's supra has a digital speedometer but in real life it has 3 gauges, and a different steering wheel.

The TVR Tuscans speed gauge is stylized like a classic elevator floor indicator

The Zonda R has a RPM gauge in the center of the wheel

When you paint a 300 SL chrome, it paints the dashboard chrome and if you look closely at the chrome painted part, you can see the race track as if that chrome part was transparent.

Lamborghini P400 Prototype Bertone '67 has a single side mirror.

That is because you don't really need two since you look over your shoulder when driving.

My speed 12 seems to loose pp once it goes above 950 bhp. Glitch?

Same thing with the X1/X2 if you lower the engine power it gains appear for a short while

Has the MP4 12-C been mentioned yet for its working mileage counter? (cant think of the more technical name ) (and would have looked though myself but with 250 responses to go through, I just thought I'd mention it myself)

Also, the X2010's mirrors appear to be cameras...

The mileage counter is the odometer, and can you see the mirrors without looking to the side?

Ahh the odometer. And yes, just either side of his hands on the wheel, there is 2 little rectangles that are showing with behind you. They look to be cameras.

I hope you were stationary when you examined this. I wouldn't want to have an X2010 rear end me because the driver was looking at his mirrors.:dopey::sly:

Actually, I was doing 400 around GVE Online with a few mates in their X2010's... I had a quick glance and pulled over to confirm it. Then told my mates about it then they started checking their mirrors.

After which you passed them to win the race:lol:.

 I wish. We were just running lap time trials and whatnot. Still hilarious hearing all the chatter over the headsets about the mirrors then the occassional "oh 🤬, just hit a wall"

You can add a carbon drive shaft to the 1963 Honda S500. This is unusual because the S500 is chain driven.
This is unusual because the engine transferred its power to the rear differential using nothing other than air.

What we know as a drive shaft was called a propeller shaft, I believe. The chain drives were at the wheels... a very neat little car indeed. And while 99.9% unlikely to be available today, a carbon propeller shaft would be a viable upgrade for track use.

The Toyota 7's collision mask seems to be too big for the actual car (try bumping one behind and you'll see what I mean)

This may be wrong , but the Honda Insight with the rear spoiler, when you look behind you in cockpit view the spoiler is missing. May need some investigation

It's actually like that with all cars that don't have a spoiler standard, or at least that's what I've seen.

All standards are like that, but I know at least a few of my premiums with spoilers show it, though I don't pay attention to all, and most of my premiums lack one.

Evo X:
The driver always put the car in "D" mode (which shows in the dashboard)
However, he always shift gear using the paddle shifters.
