Hi mates!

Here I am enjoying muy holidays, and do you know where am I?

At Ronda following the GT6 roots, this is the place where GT6 was premiered worlwide!!!

Amazing how well Ronda was represented, virtual=real.

I tried to get to Ascari but as expected is a private facility and it was closed when I tried to get to. When I get back home I will post some shots of Ronda and its landscape. Tomorrow I will visit the infamous Zahara roads and its reservoir, lol!

The sad part of my post is that I will not be available on wednesday so is there any slight chance to race on Friday? I guess everyone have plans for the weekend but just asking, if not then enjoy the races and I hope to be racing with you guys asap!!!!

Hi Guys.
I can't do Friday, as I'm travelling to see family for the weekend - but if others can then you shouldn't worry about me - as I said, my championship was compromised already! If people would prefer Friday, as it's a more relaxed day and also so that ushu can be there, that's OK by me.

I would like to race with you Least, once said this I would decide race day based on how many drivers available, by the way Thursday is good for me.

Actually is Vuja's call as championship manager, whatever day will be fine, if I can race good if not bad luck, timeschedule is difficult to manage with so many personnal duties.

Hello Everyone, By any chance would you gents consider additional drivers? ( ME :) ). Sounds like fun racing here.

Championship edit: Added results for C5:7 and C5:7/2.

Mount Panorama shows ushu on pole if you look at the online timing, and Least if you look at the grid on the track. That has fooled me before.

It is very tight between ushu and Least with only two (2!) points separating them. It's a fight that has to play out on the track! ;)
Hence: since ushu can't attend tonight the next championship race is postponed until after the weekend when Least is back too.

  • Perhaps we can do two races next week instead; Monday and Tuesday?

Personal note: I'm quite happy that I managed to tie with mephi on number of laps in the lead in the RUF, even though he was so much faster than me. It's just my kind of car. :D

...

Sounds great, mate! I just must ask, what are you driving around there? :D

Hi Folks.

Thanks for the postponement, Vuja and all you fine gentlemen. Sorry that I can't make it until next week - however, I'm looking forward to a bit of ON TRACK ACTION - I'll be there whatever days the races are on. I appreciate the consideration that let's ushu and me battle it out like gladiators of old!

Looking forward to it, see you then. Wonder if I can find some time for practice? I've barely switched GT6 on in days...

No problem, Least. It's not every time we have such a close fight so late in the championship. :)

Before that can play out though, I'm thinking perhaps another GTA session. Anybody up for it?

I'll try and get on tonight, see if anyone is there for a bit of practice. Monaco in the Gordinni can be picked up pretty fast, but Spa is another kettle of fish! I still don't really know what car to use.
I'm assuming that we're not racing tonight as there's been no agreement, but I'm OK for either tonight or tomorrow if other folks can go for it.
Maybe see you later?

Hi guys :)
I Don't know if race day is really tonight but i'm ready.
I've test some cars :
Viper GTS, TVR, Nismo Ztune, Callaway, M3 GTR/CSL, 350Z RS, C63 AMG, Mustang ...
Best time With Nismo, TVR, and M3 CSL ~ between 2.39 and 2.41.

R8 Gordini time : 2.11.891, so fun :-)

Er - sorry, I've not been paying attention. So, Monaco and Spa tonight, Nurb in the 475PP car tomorrow? Is that right?
Well anyway, I'll be as ready as I am, whatever - I'll be there later, ready to go if that's what we're doing :)

Haven't given any thought at all to the PP475 60,000cr car. Hmm.

Thanks for the info on the Spa times, Mephis. Yeah, I think I saw a lot of those cars looked in the right zone. Didn't find a Nismo, though. Ah well, I'll just decide on one later!

C5:3. Budget 25,000
Miata 1800RS (NB)'00 : 23,230
= 1770

C5:7. Budget 35,000
S2000 (EU)'01 : 34,300
= 700

C5:10. Budget 60,000 + 2470, right ?!
Example : GT-R (R34)'02 Nurb : 61,000
= 1470

+ 6pts championship, right ?

Thursday I can't race so if you don't mind it is better to finish the champ asap, my champ chances are very slim anyway...

I did not test Nurb either so I do not know what car to use yet, so many unknowns...

As last weeks championship race was postponed Vuja, Marco and Marty decided to take the kids out for a spin in beautiful Austria...

See you on the track.

Fun and exhausting race last night. Anyone with a wheel would agree. I broke a sweat (or two).

I doubt however, that I'll be able to join you at the Green Hell tonight. Another cup is going on, the World Cup's semi-final and I've made commitments to be the grill master prior to the viewing at my place. So the last position in the grid is still available. Anyone? ;)

Good races last night. For me there's a slight frustration that I have virtually no race wins - I seem to have generally front-running pace, which is good, but if Ushu doesn't beat me, Mephis does. Ah well, also good. For them! :) I like to tell myself that if I had a wheel, some of the time I'd be able to find a few 10ths per lap, maybe that'd make the difference (but I doubt it).

Monaco - The key to speed in the mad little Gordinni was to keep it inside the traction limit - just. Nearly the whole circuit was a balancing act, you want to be right on the edge of oversteer all the time, but not actually oversteering at all, as that definitely meant you were losing speed in that car.
For some reason known only to my weird brain my thumb automatically lifted from the brake button when there were 3 lights on (and a fraction of a second later I saw mephis do the same - my fault I suspect). So, a jump start from the front of the grid, a 5 second penalty, and that was pretty much race over in terms of the win, right at the start. I came back through the pack to 2nd and kept the pressure on, but at about lap 14 I clipped the barrier at the bus stop and slightly damaged the front left - it still went in a straight line, but handled kinda weird thereafter, and my lap times dropped off a second or so. On the penultimate lap I think ushu damaged his car, as I closed him from about a 12 second lead to 3.5 seconds on the last lap, so it was close but I didn't quite make it. A great, consistent drive from Ushu, and a well deserved win.

Spa - I really enjoyed this one. Had some great 3-up racing with Ushu and Vuja in the early stages. Ushu got past Vuja to take the lead in our little group, and I thought - uh, he's going to disappear now - but instead he spun up the rear end in third and spun at Malmady. I then chased Vuja for several laps, but all the time my reflexes were adjusting to get the best from the Series One - and once through I managed to pull away, getting 2.38 laps for the last 4, which I was quite pleased with on the used tires. But Mephis could not be challenged on this one, he was off from the start.

All in all, a good nights racing for me. For tonight - I have no idea what I'm going to drive. I'll have to see if I can get on an hour early and do some choosing...

Since it's the last and most important race because of double points, how about extending it a bit more than an hour if we can manage to have a good grid? Heavy damage at the 'Ring means that you can always hope for a better position, even if you're a minute behind the car in front, there's always reason to push.

It will be tight for me so wait a bit if I am not online at 22pm please, hopefully I will be o'clock but...

But I need a car, please some advise!!!!

I will buy it and straight to the track!!!

Ushu, i've test Mustang SVT Cobra R, really easy to handle and fast, but oil pit stop every 3 laps lol, (57.300$)
EVO VIII MR GSR '04 (33.980$)
EVO VI RS T.M Édition '00 (25.980$)
SKYLINE GT-R (R34) '99 (49.980$)
GT-R VSpec Nür '02 (61.000$)

I take EVO VI or GT-R '99
