You can be the Ferrari of 1991.Okay I was just wondering how that would work.
I was actually thinking Swift Autosport could be Mercedes. But we can settle for an older Ferrari team.

Okay that sounds fine. You can be the Ferrari of 1991.
i would agree with you, but there will be people that don't practice for one of the most difficult tracks on the list.Rome Reverse would be a great track for this series. It would make the drivers slow down and drive within their limits for once, instead of the idea you can go nuts everywhere. It'll take some practice to learn to run it correctly but if you can get it right, it'll pay dividends come race day.
That's their own problem, not the HRL's.i would agree with you, but there will be people that don't practice for one of the most difficult tracks on the list.
very true, but I hope that those people don't wreck the races.
Sorry, thought I had saved it, but apparently not. Fixed now.
What number is that club?I have a practice room open ATM but you have to be in hardy gt6 club to join.
well this is the formula cup thread, so this were every one that is interested in it is ATM.Can we get any word on CTCS? Instead of by mouth? Seems like the Formula Cup is taking over and it doesn't start for almost 2 1/2 months
CTCS is a filler while we get everything set for Formula Cup. I'll inform everyone of CTCS by way of PSN usually the night before the race. That room opens at 6:30, about 80 minutes from now. As @Master ferret said, this thread is meant for FC only, which is why there isn't a whole lot on CTCS here. Can we get any word on CTCS? Instead of by mouth? CTCS is the Cappuccino Touring Car Series, a semi spec series I'm running in the Formula Cup's timeslot until summer. What is CTCS?
This will be fun.Going to share my thoughts on this since it's buzzing through VRR like crazy. Someone on PSN asked me "How many are you expecting for Formula Cup?" This is a racking question, but I expect 4 to show up every week. I would like to have at least 11 so there's nice battles for points, but I do question a lot of people and if it isn't the racing that's the problem, it's the lack of motivation. Of the 16 we have signed up, either already in a team or looking, a good chunk of those are the kind of people that only race when they think they can win. A lot of people, and this is the unfortunate truth, have no interest in learning or developing commitment, or learning patience. We have a series of drivers that shoot to kill even when it isn't possible. This series was conceived as a place where those drivers could learn these things and fine tune driving skills. This series has four consistently fast drivers in it. The aim is to get people in and develop them to where st the end of the season, we have 6-8 battling for the podium. Unlike with VRR, we have the blessing of no competition on our side. We aren't conflicting with other series, we aren't overlapping real life events (at least not very often), and we have people that can accept being slow an still race because they love being a part of it. HRL has that and I'm proud of it. There may be some that are in it for the championship, but there's an equal number that are fine with just learning and getting better. That is what will make this series work. I don't care for fast people, I want clean drivers that want to learn and want to make a series good for it's style of racing. If I can get 11 of those type of people every race here, that is a massive victory that would solidify what this series is supposed to be. I will share who I expect or know for a fact will be there week in and week out.

For those that are not on that list, you are more than capable of proving me wrong, and there isn't a whole bunch of reasons to miss asides from being afraid of losing once and a while. Once again, 11's the goal, but I'll work with what's given and go from there.

That's what I'm hoping for. No drama, no politics, just everyone getting out and racing. This will be fun.
