Yeah Snail rules are the white line is OB in Duc’s second photo regarding turn 5 just past the checker rumbles. So looser rules in that spot can definitely be a time gainer.

Hard to retrain myself to run out there. I imagine I’ll continue my normal line for consistency sake and just keep being slow

Dont change the weight. Weight must stay the same.

Yeah, that makes sense. More ballast could actually help a lot of these cars.

Watkins post PP reduction (640 -> 633]: averaging 52.7s, optimal 52.5

Ran WG comparison laps again after correcting weight (mostly df changes). Lap times the same but more attention to car handling required. Atlanta times reduced a bit but getting consistent laps will be more challenging.

I need to get with a lot of you guys. I need some time practicing in traffic. Maybe we could practice together on Friday or Saturday nights. It would be nice if we could get something like that organized. I work all the time so it would be hard for me to do anything during the week days. I haven’t practiced since the weekend.

Definitely going to want to get some practice in heavy traffic for this series. My weekends are usually pretty busy with family and car club functions, but if I can sneek on, I'll tag ya. I'm sure @socalnatv @Bologna_Duc or @Phlano099 will have something up over the weekend. Take a look at the roster, and try to get sync'd up on psn with those youre not already frineds with....better chances of cat hing a practice room. And, if you have the psn app on your smartphone, you can get invite or notifications of party/room invites. Catch you on track.

Man that lap really doesn’t mean squat. I’ll not push that hard unless needed. I may even dial the car back a smidge. Go for something a little more comfortable for a race pace. Low 23’s is kind of risky. I ran like 17 in a row and it was pretty intense. Like I said, I haven’t got back to near what I was before I retired from this 8 years ago. I’ll practice with the group and see how the car feels in traffic. Put the car in some situations where I’m not hitting my marks. Then reflect and adjust from there. I mean it’s cool I put down a smoker like that and all, but all these experienced racers know that’s not everything. I’m glad I did it and I’ll push for more. Just to see what’s there. But that race is a different story. I know better. I’m still green. These guys are a lot more seasoned. It’s going to take me a few races to work this whole thing out. I have enough knowledge from my past experience to know where I stand. I have a lot a work to do. A lot of training to put myself through. It’s going to be a long road that I’m willing to tread.

I like that. Sounds fair to me. What about running a special livery for a race or two? Like your secondary sponsor. I think that would be cool. But that may be a burden to the inspector.

You chnage liveries as many times as you like. Only request, is that any new livery has 4 corner pics to verify for approval, and a driver side profile pic over the white background to update the profile page and spotters guide. But feel free.
