That has to be one of the most intense races I've done.

Spun on lap 1,clawed my way back to the pack then had an epic 30+ lap door to door,bumper to bumper battle with dowlin with less than a second between us the whole time,well done that man



More than happy to take a podium after the start I had.

Got outfoxed by the spa weather (not the first and definitely not the last!) but managed to get back to p2 at the death......had my only off track excursion on lap 35 which cost me about 7 seconds and made it a little more frantic at the end than it should have been.

And the rain didn't put a certain fire out, quite the contrary 👍

Yeah, fanatastic racing with you tonight Geordie, probably the most fun I have had in GT5. I can't believe we stayed that close for such a long time, over an hour door to door. Even though I came 4th when I must have been in 2nd 4,000 times I am certainly not dissapointed. I drove the best I could on the night and didn't have any crashes which I am very proud of, I just came up short tonight.

Well done to Fuel on yet another win, and to Scanny for nicking 2nd from us at the death. Can't wait for next week. 👍

Short race summary:
-Decided to pit at 25% Water on track, I stopped raining the lap I came out...
-First few laps I was able to recover a few secs a lap on Inters, pitted a second time the first lap I started to lose time.
-Lag spikes kicked in, suddenly putting me next to the track a few times.
-P.O'd I decided to inspect the pits a bit more, but GT5 decided to kick me out after a few minutes.

Not the evening I planned on having...glad you two where able to have such an awesome battle.

no idea why my connection is performing so horrible...

Indeed Third. When I was running behind you your car was behaving perfectly. No jumping about or anything. Can't get my head around this one.

So I did a Speedtest to your server Third, and as you can see it's pretty perfect.

As you can see here it isn't much different from the speeds that I get to the UK

Which leads to me think that it must be a problem with GT5, perhaps there are router settings or something that could be changed?

Could be a lot of things. The main thing to look at is the Ping. And anything under 100 is perfectly fine.

I thought it may actually be upload speed - you sending your info to the server - too slow resulting in a timeout and disconnection?

In other news, has anyone got an original spare Mini Cooper??? I get annoyed with them and sell them ot of spite, then realise my error this time I'm positive I've got a setup that will make me enjoy the car....but no car!
