So there's a chance that it is related to trim level and I was actually right?

I'm never right about these things. I'll have to celebrate somehow if that ends up being the case.

Dear GM,

Phone the man/woman who did this render, hire him/her now.

Looks cleaner and even better than the original, classic I'd say.

This.

Whoever did this render photoshop is a genius! The rear is okay, but the black pieces with the tail lights somewhat kill it. This render should be on the final C7, looks fresh and more C7 Vette to me.

Any news on a right hand drive version?? Heard there was a euro spec model.

Dont like the front end or the rear, front looks like its smiling dopy and rear is edgy.

Towards the beginning you can hear the startup and idle. Wow, for the base model that is beefy. They also use clips of the C7 from in game GT5 cinematics.

Really, deeply sorry for the sloppy edit, but I had to work on it, thoughts?

Edit on the last page looks a lot better. A lot of the problem really is with that stupid black surround rather than the shape themselves.

Yes.

If you're going to add round lights, you need to remove all traces of the current ones first. I don't really get why everyone is trying to fit them into the black outline.

I'd bet they serve a purpose (brake vents, or aerodynamics), that's why I implemented them, but without that emo-tear look.

EDIT: Placing these round lights just on the body doesn't work, thanks to the shape. It looks like it would squint then.

I think it looks really damn good. The only controversial part is obviously the rear but I think it can be remedied by painting the black surrounding the taillights body color. While I can understand that the Viper and the C7 share similar headlight designs I don't see the big fuss in it all. If I was given pictures of both the Viper and the C7 I'd undoubtedly be able to decipher which was which.

All the vents serve a purpose. Even the rear droopy ones beside the taillights. A simple body color paint job would fix it.

Am I really the only person who doesn't like the straight panels at the bottom?
By the way, that last 'shop is a bit too extreme for my taste. Not only are the tears still there, the exhausts are also a bit too much.

Not the vents, just the outline. If the vents are fuctional, I'd leave them, paint them the same as the body, and is needed change their shape a little.

Well, I think it looks OK in my head. I guess you could try extending the feature lines all the way to the spoiler though.

I'm going to be stubborn and insist that the shop looks worse because those particular round lights are ugly. Though I think it looks better than having them within the border.

But at the very least, I'd hope there is an option to get body colored vents/tail light border. And I hope everyone that buys a Corvette goes for that option.

Ermahgerd a Cervertte.

EDIT: You get the same effect with other lights too. It just doesn't flow well with the lines.
O.O :odd: that is ugly and I'd better keep the rectangles than have those lights. They interfere to much with the design.Yet the taillight borders should be eliminated.

 Post of the week.

As I suspected, Round Tail lights just clash with this car's shape. Also sorry dude, but not a fan of the rounding job done to the back, just takes away from that stance.

Quick alteration, it's pretty crap as i don't know how to cut and paste in PS (drew the light using my tablet). Not actually sure whether i like it or not. :indiff:
