I started mine at the beginning of Q2 but didn't see sales/revenue until Q3, so I think there's just a standard delay of at least 24 hours.
Ah, ok then. Carry on đź‘Ť

Well at least this game actually took off with a good amount of people.

In other news I just realized I only have 2,130 CR left as of now.

If you post your company half way through Q2, you will receive profits at the end of Q3. Also, how do the times compare to GMT+1 (British Summer Time)?

Five hours behind. Profits received at 5 am.

At a cost of 200cr, ABR is entering the Banshee and Wraith into Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Cash in the bank reduced to 3850cr

@JMoney689, ABR would like permission to do lay down times for the Banshee and the Wraith at Nordschleife. Please outline costs.

In addition, we would like to invest in product placement (as the hero car) in the next 007 film (with a contract for two further films in subsequent years). Please calculate costs.

Do you guys think I live on GTPlanet, waiting for 24 hours to pass after you posted? I post everyone's profits around midnight EST. It hadn't been a full quarter for you so you wouldn't have made as much money as someone who had created a company days ago. Tonight is your first profit report.

In other news, I've dropped my idea of giving performance figures for cars- I have the time to do it, I just don't want to spend three hours of my sunday afternoon calculating stats for cars that don't exist. I'll let all players give them themselves, but I will call BS if I don't like what I see, and void it.

Wow, I'm a dumbass. I misread the time. Disregard what I said then. :indiff:

ARB is proud to announce that testing of the Banshee and Wraith on the Nordschleife has yielded exciting results. The Banshee (in M4, 7speed DCT guise) managed a GT-R humbling 7:06.66 (pity it costs many times more than said GT-R). and the ultra-lightweight Wraith has obliterated the 7 minute barrier, posting an eye-watering 6:54.321

The company is also proud to announce that the Banshee will be replacing Aston Martin in the upcoming Bond film "Thunderraker" with contracts to appear in the subsequent two films "Octo-moon" & "The Spy who Never Dies"

Finally, ARB is in development of a new model which will be unveiled when we have raised your expectations extraordinarily high. The model's name - "Widowmaker"

@JMoney689 I'm guessing the R&D, or any updates for that matter, won't take full effect until the first full quarter after it has been announced, just like the models are? If so, I guess I'll find out if it's worth it or not.:nervous:

Q1 2015 Report.

igneuslogoonly.jpg

Headquarters Location: Dubai, UAE.

CEO: Hamza Abdul - Former pikes peak racer. While most Arabs in Dubai are either busy with money or their expensive lifestyle, Hamza isn't one to stand up to that stereotype of his people. Inspired by the prophets that travel the deserts in their journeys, Hamza seeks to find these joys of adventure, and he goes far and wide to do so.

Company Type: Heavy duty off road performance (think Bowler). Expanding further.
Factory Locations: Dubai, UAE.
Dealership Locations:

Houston TX, USA.
Dubai, UAE.
Perth, Australia.
Does free worldwide imports as well (counts as 1 more shop).

London, UK.
California, USA.
Stockholm, Sweden.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Beijing, China.

Number of Car Models: 1

Total money after Q1 2015: 3350 + 2430 = 5780 cr.

Car Models

Model Name: Igneus Landslide
Trim Levels: Commercial, 4X4 "Kangchenjunga", Military.
Body Style: SUV, SUT (4X4)
Engine: V8 (Commercial), Turbocharged V12
Drivetrain: Front Engined 4WD
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Location of Factory: Dubai, UAE.

Changes and announcements.

- President Hamza has announced the long term development of a brand new super light, road legal roadster (even before selling of the Landslide), using technology from F1 racing teams. Rivalling the BAC Mono and KTM X-BOW (and looking kind of like the Zenos E10), the car, still unnamed, will be announced and showcased at Pebble Beach in Q3 2015, and is estimated to sell from then onwards at about 115,000 US dollars. Due to prototyping stages, there isn't a cost (yet, and i need costs for a light car body style). (-150cr)

- A small factory has been spotted making these at Staffordshire, UK. Protected by security, the journalists can only spot nothing but expensive materials, tarped up test cars and the Igneus badge. (-1000cr)

- To celebrate on entering the worldwide industry, the company offers all models of the Igneus Landslide on a 20% less special discounted price.

- The Igneus Landslide 4X4 has been challenged to traverse hazardous natural environments (Ala Car Vs Wild) with the help of two unlucky chosen experts in the car and the wild. The Igneus HQ sends their regards and hopefully the investment for the car's public image will pay off. (Gamble roll, moderator will announce results if it's alright. - 500cr.)

- 5 more dealerships will be opened to accomodate the new super light car's release and expand worldwide relations. (-1250cr.)

London, UK.
California, USA.
Stockholm, Sweden.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Beijing, China.

Total money left: 5780 - 2900 = 2880 cr.

@JMoney689

How are profits earned? I'm still a bit confused here.

He's putting numbers into a formula. If I had to guess, overall production from factories, number of cars sold through dealers, and supply/demand of certain classes being made. If I had to guess, it would seem that higher end stuff, either in numbers, size, or quality are bringing in more cash. Looking at SPD above, outreach may be big as well, so I'm taking an overall hit from all sides if true.

That's what I am curious to know. Just how he knows what we are selling. Until I find out it looks like people are getting random profits because there's no sure way to no without making something up.

Question: Is it possible to use parts created by other companies? If another company has developed an engine I want to use, for instance, can I make an agreement with them to use their engines? Or do I always have to develop my own parts?

@eran0004 I think this is a cool idea and I'd be happy to develop engines for anyone wanting to make performance cars. To keep ABR cars exclusive the engines in existing models would be off limits.

Alternatively, maybe there is an option to co-develop cars?

This just in. Seeing how the Phoenix GT is already battling the likes of the Corvette and Viper we are adjusting the Flash. The Flash should now compete against the Lamborghini Adventador and Ferrari F12. However these changes shouldn't effect the public showing at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Carmain2K has made a statement about the companys goals this year:

We have had a brilliant first quarter, and we have had great sales of our new sedan, the AS-2. We now need to expand our company, so we can further take on the global market. I am proposing two new concepts to be made in the next year or so. First, the AH-3, a premium hatchback, a 'large' hatchback, so we can really expand in the markets. This will be on top priority. Next, we need to get a larger exec sedan/estate, the AS-3 so we can keep those long distance businessmen happy. For this we will need new V6 engines, petrol or diesel.

Aquila motors continues to be one of the most successful car companies in the world. To further this success, we are launching an aggressive R&D programme and later this year will be making some big announcements as to our future products. But right now, we want to focus on maximising our 40,000 per quarter production capacity, so we are opening 8 new dealerships.
