Current favorite car in GT4 (FFS don't just post the name of the car)

Current favorite road car: 2000 Camaro SS, this has got to be the best "normal" bang-for-the-buck car in the game, at 22 grand. It's underrated at 315hp, but with a oil change that gets bumped up to 347hp! And lets not forget the gobs of low-end torque from the small-block that makes it pull hard in every gear. She turns too, very predictable around the track, and she won't give you any nasty suprises (her brakes are weak though). I am now currently owning anything the Japanese and Europeans are throwing at me, with my F-Body. :mischievous:

Current favorite race car: Lancia Delta S4, Ok, so she dosen't turn well, (sometimes not at all) but she can accelerate like a LMP car on-road or off.
She is also the reason I started rallying in GT4, so I can pay tribute to the Group B era. And, like the real car, she is a tad dangerous, and requires constant attention. But I love her! 👍

Favourite road car the Spyker C8....tuned correctly the car sounds fantastic, and goes like no tommorow.

Though many people do underestimate the powess of the SVT Lightning some suspension tuning and goobs of power I can manage a 7.07 on the ring. Its really an awesome vehicle!

I wholeheartly agree, the Lighting is very underrated. I love using my red one to beat the likes of sports cars that supposedly are faster. It's kind of funny to pass an R34 in a bright red pick-up truck at 120mph at Laguna Seca!

Nice truck BTW. 👍

my fave is the Lotus elise 111r. Very fun to throw into corners, stock or modified. Bit of an adventure on the "Ring, though

The only way I could give one single answer to this question would be to come back every week or month with a new answer.
So with that in mind...

Mitsu Lancer Evo 8 MR (at Tsukuba full mod, original turbo)
Aston Martin DB9 (on the Ring with any setup)
SLR (one of the fastest production road cars in the game)

Those are three of my favs but there are others. The Skyline Nur ed., The Supra RZ, the McLaren F1.

So many cars, so little time... :boggled:

Good question. My favourite car at this time is maybe the 1995 Honda Integra Type-R DC2. First of all, it's cheap. My car costed 7.800 Cr, which is fairly low. The B18C engine delivers 190 bhp from stock, and the chassis is spot on perfect. Yep, it's a FWD car, but I love it. I think it must be Integra, yeah.

From FF's: Honda Civic EG-II is a nimble little shopping bag that offers mean surprise to many bigger ones. :)

From FR's:this is a difficult one.. I think 120i is good for destroying supercars at family cup set up to 10.

From MR's: Toyota MR2's first two gens, and Lotus Elise for sideways pwnage with underpowered car... and let's add TommyKaira ZZ-II into the mix..

for RR's: only one can rule them all.. and it's Fiat 500R! DeLorean is cool too.

I'm having fun at the moment punting a fully modded 22B STi around Nurburgring on free run. Mmm. That or the RX-8 concept race car.

The 22B would have to be my favourite car in the game, probably because it's one of my favourite in real life. That and the 787B. Love it. Love it, love it, love it.

My current fav is the Sauber C9. I know it is one of the fastest cars, but I only give it about 10% downforce so its handling becomes more unstable.
Also I use my black Ford GT very often. It is more satisfying for me to become quicker step by step with a car than being quick right away and havng no space for improvement.

I was just playing 2 player arcade with my son, and we always use the same exact car when head to head, and we picked the Lotus Elan '62 on Laguna Seca.

My first time driving one of these and all I can say is wow! What a sweet little car.

Spent a coupla hours last night with my latest fav's:

'91 Lexus SC300, driftin' on hard tyres around El Capitan ;-)

Eating Supercars with a max'd out Renault 5 Maxi - Whatever track :D

95' Bog standard Eclipse GT (okay, maybe power up +5) @ the 'Ring with challengers on 5... That bloody RS2000...

my fav is the chaparral 2j. it has 3 gears (which i like since the weigert vector twin turbo v8 from gt2) and in my opinion the best engine noise. as well as my favourite handling. and it is so odd a shape ;)

when i drive it i feel like im driving a crazy beast, like a tiger or something :)

other than that, the lotus europa special! handles like a dream, really does what i want it to do, sure it isnt powerful, but it drives really tightly, but soft at the same time. stock that car is great fun, i like to take off all driving aids and go nurb'ing quite often indeed :)

Currently my favourite car is the white RUF BTR 86' fully tuned with black rims and white double-element rear wing.

Once you get rid of the rear engine heavyness (toe to 1 at rear) its a great and very fast car. I also equipped it with a rear wing and it handles like on rails even with R1 tires. I was able to do 6:57.xx laps (R1 tires) at the ring with the right setup with only 486 HP without the stage 2 and 3 turbos you can buy. It also has very little turbo lag with stage a 3 turbo.

A great car, you should give it a try if you like RUF's and older Porsches! 👍

Anything found in my garage, but most especially the C1, S1R, and X2R (which I haven't posted yet). They're all incredibly responsible and compete against cars they have no business sharing the track with.

I really like the nissan skyline GT-R race car
the PENZOIL GT-R in the same class as the Pitwork Z
It is soooo smooth, not seceptable(Sp?) to under-steer, responsive and sleek,
:D

Viper SRT10 fully modded to 1032 horses and Speed 12 with 1092 horses. Winning Like the Wind is really easy with 25 Final and some tuning.

Race car, maybe the AMG Mercedes CLK-GTR. It's not as powerful or fast as an R92CP, but it's sleek and still fast enough for me.

Honda S2000 LM Race Car

handling is superb in my opinion
"only" 580 BHP (fully tuned), but still it's pretty fast
I really like it

The Mitsubishi EVO 8 rally car is EXTREMELY nice for rallies,
with 325PS, this car is controllable, though you can throw it into corners easily, It needs a bit of LSD tuning to be 100% effective.

Even though I dislike that "tuner" GOLF, it is a really wild/cost effective solution to many races.

Okay, i know some people may think im crazy or something, but i love the Renault Clio sports versions! Especially the race car!!! i handles soooo well, doesnt have the best top speed, but just a fun car. that's the great thing about games: cars NEVER break down. It has a little bit of understeer if going too fast through a corner :scared: , oversteer whenever you want it :sly: and just.... fun. try it sometime!! :)

The Nissan R89C Race Car is my current favorit. It handles extrmely good! Best car EVER! It was deffently worth beating Mission 34 (Actually not).

Another one of my current favorites is the TVR Speed 12. I like the way it handles:tup:

RUF BTR (Not the Yellow Bird) with 394HP, and basic N3 Tires... with the right set-up it runs under 7 minutes around the ring, and in my opinion the most enjoyable 7 minutes you could have in the game.

i really enjoy all the under powered unfortunate handling econo-to-pseudosports cars. the are the most challanging to drive fast and seem to be the most fun to extract performance from.

but on the other hand i really like the sound and torque of anything thats supercharged. especially the toyota lineup that can be supercharged in the aftermarket. (98' Celica!)

Hah ha. Dodge RAM. Stupid amounts of torque? Check. Lift throttle oversteer? Check. A-Spec points glitch? Check.
I think I may have found my new favorite car in the entire game.
The best part? It drives like a Porsche.
