Ouch! Just came back from my maiden Race C this week. Had a decent up & down race, nothing too spectacular or disastrous.

But I came out from being A/S to A/C, very narrowly missing a DR reset.

I don't remember any driving to that extent of dirty but I'm willing to accept the charge! I think I'll be hitting Race C on my alt account for the time being.

@smcqueen46 The race C car costs 3,000,000. Save your money.
It's a very difficult car to drive. But, if you like a really big challenge, go for it.
I don't think I want to enter that race. My SR rating would go to 0.
@sturk0167 So I have bad news and good news and bad news and meh! news:

Bad News: I don't have 3M credits on my alt account, so I would have to grind out more credits. :grumpy:
Good News: I have almost 6M credits in my main account, so can easily afford to buy the car and I just did.
Bad News: Due to stupidity, when I checked my garage I looked at Gr3 cars instead of GrX and didn't see that I already had received the Red Bull car as a gift, so now I have two of them in one account and none in the other! :ouch:
Meh! News: I can sell the one I just bought for 3M credits and get back 900K credits. :banghead:

I expect I'll do trial runs in the AI on my main account to see if I can even handle the car and maybe do the B race in the alt account until I figure that out.

I'd just keep the second one for alternative liveries - but that's because I'm a livery freak. :D

Maybe from the sketchy track limits on La Sarthe?

Do you get docked SR for cutting corners?
No you don't. You get docked 10 SR for any front to back contact the game deems forceful enough. Also the higher your DR, the higher the chance you get the 10 SR deduction.

I dropped to 83 SR in my first attempt. I didn't bump anyone off, just a couple front back contacts in braking zones with everyone still fine tuning the braking points. No accidents, but SR loss across the board.

Misfit room next, probably more SR loss, then more messy rooms. I'll be D/E by noon

always trying to close a door that can't be closed anymore. Cars can't magically brake faster when you throw your car in the way.
It happens way too much. Poor racecraft. I don't know why people don't realise it's not going to work. My braking point has already commit me to your side. Then the call you dirty or divebomb in the chat. It's not me, it's you.

This what Igor had to deal with Sunday morning.

He stayed world-class clean all the way.

Did 1 last race at Tsukuba last night. Started 2nd. I think everyone hit me at least once. Finished last-ish. Sundays.....

Did 1 Race A this morning. Started 5th/finished 4th. Good race.

Probably will switch to B or C for the rest of the week. Maybe try a race. Both seem pretty adventurous on paper.

These complaints about other players are common in other games as well. It's always everyone else but you who's the idiot. And you're always the one with bad luck.
Show respect and you'll in most cases get it back. Involve ego and revenge and you're ****ed.

However, some combinations simply require a lot of skill to do cleanly. Last week as well as this week are good examples. Unless you're in high A or A+, people might simply lack skill to drive cleanly despite trying to - those collisions are called accidents.

Do your best, don't get mad no matter what, and have fun. When it's not fun anymore, do something else for a while.
It's more from a relative position though -- relatively speaking, the driving is just not as interesting/clean as it was back when the penalty system was active. And generally, the SR S lobbies really did contain the cleanest drivers as it was difficult to sustain (and so it should be).

Some opinions on what's dirty or not. I got called out by these two drivers for my dirty driving.
As you've already concluded, the first chicane clip shows you backed off. It's as if you expected him to move left for the second apex. The second clip, you had the run. He either wasn't aware of you being there or was & wanted to push you off. People do realize that getting pushed off doesn't get you penalty time. Although, this is PD, so it might. The third clip again, obvious. Your car was either going to punt the car ahead off or you were going to follow the sportsmanship video & tried to avoid contact. Success! Of course, lack of situational awareness caused him to turn in on you. It's just easier for those drivers to console themselves & their terrible skills by blaming someone else.

I imagine he didn't get revenge based on a couple of factors. First, he's a very well known figure, so he might get shamed publicly. Second, he's pretty much an ambassador for the game & franchise. He can't be doing anything wrong. However, anybody else who was witness to that blocker's tactics should have had no problem dishing out the punishment.

I thought you could lose SR now for track limits where you don't incur a penalty but run over the limits? Might have that wrong. I know you lose SR bump drafting now.

is it possible to see anywhere online (not in the game itself) the actual lap/qualification times and the car with which I achieved the times? And even better to see the time of the ingame friends also...? kudosprime is veyry good so far, but I would like to follow and compare times and cars in the actual daily of the week

Nevermind, just re-read your post... 🤦

Not shure what you mean, Ok there are typos and my english might be not perfect.

And yeah, I know, that I can see the lap times at kudosprime but it costs a lot of effort to look up every friend... or did I miss anything?

very well said

I bought the Race C car a few weeks ago and instantly regretted it as it's undriveable with a controller. At least it has a use now!
I watched the replay of the top guy in Race B and he's drifting all over the corners! I bought the same car and can't do it!
I'm 18s off him at Interlagos lol

That's very decent for a day 1 quali. I normally peak on Day 7, just before they reset the races.
Im marginally happy with it. I don’t feel like I’ve ever hit the Senna S perfect and the turn after is never smooth so I can improve. I’ve watched a couple of guides to help. When I do a race I have to learn the track completely from scratch as I’m brand new to the game a couple of weeks ago so can be a bit overwhelming!

Think I'll do some Race B this week (starting tomorrow) for a change, don't fancy Race C at all. :ill:

I will Qualify for once, I just need a car (a different one for each region actually), any suggestions? I don't really care how good the car is I'll just do my best with it. :D

Looks like it will easily be an SR killer. Lost SR in all but 1 race today and I didn't really do anything. It'll be from the stupid penalties at La Sarthe though.

Cold hards just loose me places in lap 1. How people can just get through Dunlop with no issue enough to hit you off is ridiculous. Even when they are warm I get random slides. Had the car go twice in Corvette despite doing it no different to the previous laps or proceeding laps. And I had a random big moment in Tertre Rouge! The car is so stable there normally. Just bizarre. Still having fun though. Liking the combos.

Sorry, I typed out a big long post explaining how to find your friends times and cars in the game. Then re-read your post and you clearly stated you were talking about not in the game. Idiot moment by your truly. Haha!

If a car is anywhere near you, take the inside, sacrifice pace. The worst corner is the last one, people dive in there and even if they do't hit you it slows you both down.
Yes the dirty drivers trying to pass there are dumb and will be the type who get involved in crash after crash. If you try to pass there you just let the rest of the field catch up and create more carnage, often even before you get to turn 1, it's stupid. :boggled::crazy::yuck:
