Does race c give more exp and Dr as its longer or are they all the same
It will give more experience points, because you're driving the furthest distance.
DR points will be higher if you beat enough drivers. It could also be lower, because there are more drivers who could beat you.
The least DR points you could lose would be at race A.
C offers the biggest potential gain.

1 Race B this morning. Started 3rd/finished 5th. Great racing.

Currently on a CRB and top 5 streak. Which is nice. But on the other hand I've been losing 2-3 spots every race. Need to work on that.

Still dropping SR points even when I'm being hit by others....51 manner points, dont know what I'm doing wrong, don't know how to bring them back since the sm green arrows are missing...

Drive like the off track is lava and the other cars are kryptonite. Avoid contact at all costs and stay on track at all times.
In the worst case scenario you can pull over to let them by and run behind to regain SR. You will loose DR but that's no big deal if it brings you out of the gutter

Yes Sir, basically he will need to sacrifice DR for SR. The elusive CRB hunt is what I call it.

What I'm trying to work out with Big Willow is why, despite the fact that (according to GTBlade) 77% of B drivers have a QT slower than mine, I've been last on the grid in every race today! It must be that only the 23% that are faster than me are bothering to race.....?

Looks like you took out the pit crews as well :)
Looks like they're OK. They have helmets. :)

Well yesterday I got back on the horse that bucked me off Monday (Big Willow)
I ran from last in the Mustang and Supra as well. The racing was clean and fun with the A S players.
They were fair.
Luckily there were no A plus try hards starting in the back near me.
This game is fun and looks great on this time of day on B race.
As long as I’m not up front contending with the try hards the race is really fun.
The top one percent try hards drive way more arcade than mid level.
It’s more realistic against mid level A players. I raced later yesterday so it was a little different crowd than usual-good guys good fun!

I was in a few races with you last night, definitley some good racing. I was in the Calsonic RCZ. First race I got punted T4 and finished dead last, then finished just ahead of you (think you got stuck behind a slow driver), and the last race you passed me on the final turn and finished one spot ahead. My Q time isn't great (1:11.5xx) so basically starting from the back with you anyway. I'll probably be on later tonight again, hopefully I'll see you. Might give the Mustang a shot, or maybe the Ford GT.

Is there some ”boost” in use at race C?
I got punted at one corner and I ended facing wrong way. Turned around and catch the same pack un der one lap???? I was at least 3-4 sec behind and no ones that fast 😄😄

anyway, track is little too narrow on some points and only few places to clean overtake. Unfortunately this does not seem to bother some drivers.
luckily mostly clean at midpack a dr.

I have the exact same.issue! Every race I'm starting mid pack, makes no sense!

If you can, watch the replays. More than likely, someone is holding others up or someone going for an inside move. The cars accelerate and stop so quickly, a baulk from someone ahead, can gain you a second or two to catch up.

An unintentional pit stop at Big Willow.

It was my first race of the week, and I didn't know everyone else was no-stopping. :irked:

I think that's called the 1000 IQ strategy.

But they're not truly safe unless they have their High-Viz on.

Had 2 good races tonight.
Took the Scooby out at Big Willow. I was hounding a Supra for most of the race trying to force a mistake. The Swiss was too neutral for that, well done them. Last lap I was trying to set up a up and under at the last corner hoping they went a bit wide. However I put the dreaded slither of tyre on the sand. Instant tank slap and then a quick visit to Lancaster before continuing. Lost 3 places so finished 7th instead of 4th. Still it was a great race. Very clean too. At least what I saw.

Did I say I loved Gr2 and Sard B? Well I do and it paid off.
Started 3rd. A Spaniard in an Alonso 2006 Renault F1 livery barged past me and the Turk ahead. I managed to get a run as they mucked up the Bowl hairpin. They cut across me. O.k. I have their number. I'm grassed but keep her pointed forward. The Turk gets by and does the honours on the Spaniard and sends him to the realm at the right hander. The Brit in the lead pits lap 4 or 5. Myself and the Turk have a good race. They get a penalty at the last corner and I hound them for the start of lap 7. The muck up the right hander before the PZ and spin as they take the penalty. I take the lead for my pit lap of 8. The Turk comes in behind. I think the penalty ghosting helped him get out of the spin as he was only a second and a bit down. We come out as we went in. But the Brit now on softs is closing. He gets us both within 2 laps. (I wasn't going to fight him as he was faster and on better tyres.) I settle down in 2nd and try to keep the gap to the Turk. On the last lap I see yellows in turn 1. The Brit has lost it on the exit of T1. Perhaps he pitted too early. I have 1 lap to keep the lead from a hungry Turk. I just keep it together despite a scare of running a hair wide through the last corner. (Thankfully no pen) I take my first Gr2 victory in Sport Mode. 😁

Yes, but is so discouragingly frustrating when you lose SR points for getting hit by others...but willing to take the DR hit for the SR points...

Being hit by others does not reduce your Sr...bumping other people om the other hand...

I had a quick look at your profile on kudosprime, you lost 50 points in one day, that wouldn't happen from other people hitting you.

Perhaps a rewatch of the driving etiquette videos is required 🤔

WTF...2 disconnects in a row with 5 green bars!!
is it PD or Telstra?
anyone?
I too wonder if it’s something on PD/Sony’s end because I’ve had five disconnects in the past 10 or so hours which is a lot. Three of them in a race which cost me roughly 6,000 goddamn DR points as well. Wired connection here, always five green bars, haven’t experienced any other Internet issues besides the disconnecting from daily races today.

The usual two races for me tonight with wild swings with the drivers in the lobbies.

Race 1 is a room with SR 80 drivers where I start P4. 14 of 19 drivers with a rank of DR of D. The top 4 including myself (A/B ranked) take off and never look back. There was another B ranked racer starting in the back, but I don’t know what happened to them. Nothing of note happens aside from I go wide in the turn before the chicane leading to the front stretch and smack the wall. I recover and finish where I started with a 10 second margin to P5. I also got back to 99 SR.

Race 2 is a mix of A/B drivers and I start P10. Some decent clean racing and get up to P7, but I drop to P9 after I mess up the chicane before the front stretch before my pit stop. Then drop back to P13 after my pit stop. I don’t gain any more spots after that due to my inability to stay on my lines and continually going deep on most of the sharper turns. I also didn’t do the undercut strategy this time around because I didn’t know how bad the tire wear would be, so I played it safe. The race winner had a 29 second gap to P2. They took off like a rocket, holy cow.

Race 2 was completely frustrating, and I can only blame myself for a poor performance. I’m being too hard on myself, but my confidence was totally shot in the second race and that lead to more mistakes. I’ll try coming in one lap earlier and do an undercut (using the 5M/9S strategy) and snag some spots that way. I’m hoping it was just an off night and I can bounce back tomorrow.

must be PD-sitting on 50mbps here......no Dr or Sr loss though-disconnected before race starts fortunately...

Definitely seems like it. Utterly unfortunate as I love the current daily B combination but at this point it’s too frustrating even if I’d just like to go again, again and again. Calling it quits for tonight.

Well, at least you’ve been lucky with the timing of your disconnects. To me, it seems unfair how a network disconnect beyond one’s control mid race equals a rage quit/DNF by choice where the game puts you in last position.

"if I’d just like to go again, again and again." does seem addictive this week..
it`s disappointing though-1239 races,1237 finishes,2 disconnects midrace for me-perhaps they hate a perfect record or they are just trying to nudge me into the PS5 queue?

How realistic is this in Race C this week? I may have time for a good long racing session tomorrow evening but Monza brought my SR down to 80 and while I'm sure driving the track is fun, I'm afraid of the aggressive drivers. Especially when I'll be dealing with other low SR people.

Maybe I'll start and finish at the back. On purpose, that is.

That's not true. Any contact ( with the possible exception of side contact) with other cars reduces SR even if it doesn't give a penalty.

Yeah but you could still make a net gain. You aren't losing 50 points jn a day due to people hitting you off the track, you just aren't
