I was bored at work today so I made a little simulation with a pseudo-random number generator. If it were picking at random from a list of 260 cars after 260 days login you'd end up with something like this.

100 unique cars
50 x 2 the same
14 x 3 the same
4 x 4 the same
2 x 5 the same
and occasionally someone would get 6 or 7 the same.

And you'd have 3 or 4 of the >10M cars.

I'd guess that the list is weighted towards certain cheaper cars and against the more desirable ones, but it's unlikely that it's looking at your garage to deliberately give you dupes. It doesn't need to.

Remember it is only a racing game, what you get as a gift car you have to be happy on what you get and if you are not happy just Delete that car. So what if PD change something to make it harder to get the really expensive cars as a gift, who gives a dam. I did grind to get all the expensive cars in the game, and I am happy to do that.

Instead on coming on here and writing a whole lot of rubbish in just about every post that you have posted. Why don't you win races to get plenty of credits, so that you can get all the cars that you want and be happy.

Like I mentioned before, it can't be rigged if PD changed it in an update. If it were rigged, PD wouldn't have to change it. Whatever criteria determines the gift car, is set. No matter if people received a 20 mil Cr car before July 4, 2018... at 3:48pm... during a hail storm... while a stampede of wild elephants ran through their living rooms... giving them a buh-bee-buh-bee-black eye.

If anything, players may have been able to manipulate the roulette by timed button pushing(I was a believer after trying it multiple times). Even that was debated and debunked.

PD may say the wheel is random, but nowhere do they say that the list being chosen from does not contain duplicates.

In other words, if a roulette wheel has five ones, four twos, three threes, two fours and just the one five, it is still correct to say that the selection is 'random'...

I have the 330 from the daily spin as well. It's also given me all of my GR3 cars, which I used to get rid of, but now I keep them so I can have multiple liveries ready to go. I've also received several Panteras, actually four IIRC, I've kept two. Both my GT3RS's came from the daily spin. I got another Supra today.

"Rigging" would have to have some kind of justification, aside from the standard design of a random giveaway as @Sander 001 noted.

There can be a question of what they use as the seed to generate the randomness. I believe those are unique because when these stories come up, everyone seems to have different results, which is anecdotal evidence, but it's also a likely approach to the design.

I waited a long, long time for that. Got it 2/3 months ago and now I have three. Got the Vette and Aston V12 Gr.3s only recently too. only need the VW VGT and Pug RCZ and will have the complete gift set of Gr.3 (I have a large amount of dupe Gr.3s, the Vette & Aston are the only singulars at this moment)
But there are many Gr.X and Gr.1/2 that I've never received which the game seems to currently be refusing to gift to me on the DWG wheel if they do make an appearance in the four.
