Derek, I just noticed you changed the Tilton pad on your design quite a bit since original release. I hope you change the Bolt that comes with it , mine have rusts all over the bolts now and kinda ruined the experience, took it all off now and bolt is in the bin. :(

just thought you should know.

I was looking at you sig and something their caught my eye. :)

i5-2500k | XFX 6950 | 16gb Ram | 3-28" Screens | DSD Pro Sequential Shifter | G27 | T500-F1 | Clubsports | 911 GT3RS | MSpec Shift Light | DSD Hydraulic Pedals | Blue Max Button Box

I haven't heard the end of my "pretty racing shoes", if I dress up my sequential with that thing I will really never hear the end of it.
That is smoki'n! I like it Latte!

The bolts I use are oil coated black oxide coated and essentially rust proof. I specifically use that type to prevent oxidation. Quite possibly your environment or shoes had come into contact with salts to cause the issue.

It's not possible for me to control what my customers do once they receive their components. Yours is the first example of indicating that black oxide fasteners rust. I've used about 200 kilos of them. They're metric. I'm sure you can find replacements.

Hi Bangers - Thank you for your order. The dates on my site are always good. I never have missed a promised shipping date across thousands of orders :) I'm hoping to ship early. October 9th is the latest your shifter will ship off.

You're a gentleman and a scholar Mr Speare 👍

Finally got my mirrored DSD Velocity and Bent Rod Sequential mounted to my rig. Used the Clubsport Tableclamp's shifter mount and Ram mount to attatch the R5, and a Fast Track Sims DSD sequential mount to install the shifter (Thanks Mayaman you're right this mount rocks for the DSD sequential 👍). I had Mark of http://www.fasttracksims.com/obutto-dsd-sequential-mount/ make my bracket a little longer to give me a little more thigh room. Apologize for the crappy cell phone pics. Photography is definitely not one of my skills.

Thanks Mr Latte for bringing the MOMO knob to my attention. Just what I was looking for, some chrome for the DSD bent rod!

I put some rubber shrink tubing around the base of the shaft to eliminate the metal clanking sound (wife was not pleased at night :indiff:) and it gives a nice thud now instead of the metallic clack.

Thanks D. I'm very happy with your gear, and a very satisfied customer, now whats up with those Pedals!!

Regards

Looks really good mate 👍

Cheeba looking good indeed, the Momo is a great size and feel, aint it?

Agree with the "clacking" it was the only minor complaint/flaw I found with the shifter. Although I think your the only one here since to say the same.

P.S. > Derek
Please could you build me the same as in #366 above "Velocity r3" but with a "RED Base", if so you got yourself a sale sir.

I do particularly like the sound my Pro Squential makes. :) However, I have said all along it's not sleeping spouse or baby friendly. There will always be some noise produced when you're moving mechanical bits from steel, aluminum alloy and a spring around. When you use it - and hear it - you know it's tank tough. And I do know some would like it to be quieter.

As far as another Special Edition Velocity goes, we'll see what shakes loose. The description you've given would be unique, and thus far, every SE Velocity has had its own look:

Here they are:

Here's an update for September 30th: All button boxes and Velocities will ship by the end of the week. Outstanding shifters promised for the 9th will ship in the morning tomorrow.

New shifter orders (both types) will ship the next day.

Please check your paypal emails of record for your shipping information then, and also allow a minimum of 10 to 15 working days for international shipments.

Thank you again for your interest, business, support and friendship. I am proud to serve the sim racing community. :)

Thank you!

The black and red velocity looks really awesome and would fit my rig perfect ;)

After a looong wait (over 2 weeks in transit!) , my Track Boss arrived and is now mounted in my cockpit.

Thanks Derek for the great product and service. :)👍:)👍

What did you use to mount your button box mate?

Looking good spinner! Like the nice clean look. Dig the cockpit lighting also 👍. Enjoy!

I made a very basic bracket out of 3mm steel plate. Sorta T shaped. Its surprisingly solid !

Looks great, spinner! Thanks for taking the time to post the photos :) Have many great races in the future :)
Thanks Derek. So good being able to adjust brake bias on the fly now , much safer for those around me too :)
