Also, more in general, a more complete/deep engine tuning system that the more extreme it gets, the more it changes the engine's character (for example by raising noticeably the useful rpm band, making the torque curve peaky with significant loss of low-end torque, rendering the idle wild, etc). This was properly done in GT1 where to some extent one could customize the engine behavior with it. In GT5 (but in reality, since GT3) torque/power curves essentially always retain the same shapes as stock (unless after fitting a turbocharger) and remain perfectly drivable. There are none of the drawbacks that exist in RL. It's too much simplistic, and unrealistic too (among other things, specific torque often gets too high on naturally aspirated engines after "maxing them out" in GT5).Is a tuneable ECU too far beyond imagination
