How about America and the rest of the world? :grumpy:
They usually cycle it through the regions, first one, then another and so on. Don't forget, each PS Store region operates to it's own rules, so it's likely up to them as to when the deal will appear in the US etc.

Best keep an eye on Rushy's tweets - he'll certainly announce it.

The only thing this game lacks is some good old classic car. I mean, there are the Diablo, the F1 and the F40 wich is super good. But c'mon.. some Lancia, M3 E30 and so on...

However, this is by far my favourite racing game on PS4

Ok lets go into a parallel universe where Evolution Studios wasn't shut down and they just announced DC2, Would you want DC 2 to be a open world game or closed circuit racer

Closed circuit. They did an amazing job with closed circuits. If they went open-world, I'd worry that the quality would diminish, since the assets and artwork would have to be spread across a large landscape. On individual circuits, everything is concentrated together and looks more polished.

I would absolutely love open world, simply for the fact that the cars look and sound amazing, the feeling of driving them is just not comparable to other games in my opinion, and the environments they created are absolutely breathtaking.

However, I don't think they could combine all of the things that I just said. Something would be lost or depleted in my opinion. And, I absolutely love hotlapping in this game. Furthermore, we have the benefit of driving through the environments of 6 countries I believe. I don't think they'd squeeze out that variety in an open world.

If DC2 ever came out, I would just want:
- more cars
- more environments
- 60fps
- maybe a few more online game modes
- and some offline mode where it really makes you feel the love of a car/cars. maybe like a challenge mode or showcase (like in forza motorsport). Kind of like an event from top gear where you just marvel at the car and then you do a challenge or a hotlap. That kind of introduction to events, or a separate mode like that on it's own would make me SUPER happy. When I was playing the Horizon 3 demo, the cutscenes and the beauty really just gave me goosebumps, same goes for some showcases in forza 6.

TLDR: I would just want DC2 to be much more of the same with just a few additions.

Quick question...I just bought the $19.99 Driveclub+season pass bundle. In game I see there still is a few things that need to be purchased? I know the bikes add on is a standalone that isn't included in the season pass, but what about the No Limits expansion for instance?

The 'No Limits' and 'Finish Line' expansions weren't included in the season pass, so you'll have to pay for those.

For a theoretical DC2 I would drop the current club model that the game's focus was initially supposed to be and adopt a 'faction' based approach. Four teams that you could choose between and then frame events around that. By doing this you would ensure that the Club aspect wouldn't be a waste of time and give a sense of heightened competition. Think a turf-war type approach.

To add to @TS040 also, these packs have less content than the ones included in the Season Pass. Worth factoring in if you're considering purchasing them.

I'd expand on the original formula of the first game, keeping the mix of P2P, road courses and circuits and include expanded clubs, new environments and more cars with new classes.

I would like to see a racer with fixed routes and circuits but with all kinds of offroad cars for a change. I think the Driveclub engine could deliver once again a stunning world. Reduce AI to 8 or 10 max, improve offroad, terrain deformation, mud, dust etc etc and keep it smooth at 30 FPS together with DC driving model.

I've bought the original game including season pass for €20, bought the bikes expansion for €15 and it is by far the most value for money I got out of any PS4 game I own.

Is there a hours counter? I can't say how much I played this game, but surely over 200hrs
Annoyingly, no. It's something I've wanted for ages too. This should really be a native OS feature in the PS4 but we just got folders years after release. So, hopefully a time-played counter arrives in another few years. :P

And custom wallpapers from screenshot too!

Driveclub VR $39,99

source: Playstation: Driveclub VR launches exclusively for PS VR on October 13 for $39.99. Buckle up for one of the most immersive racers yet.

EDIT: And for the people who already own Driveclub with a season pass there will be an upgrade for a reasonable price. Curious what is 'reasonable'? $19,99??

Is anyone here getting the VR and DC next month? I wonder if it will sell out for the Xmas Holidays? (tempted still) well this or a new 4k TV..Lots of new hardware out later next year. I might wait for the 'next gen' consoles now and not jump in..we shall see:nervous::lol:

Closed, by far. Personally, there are far too few closed-circuit arcade racers out there, and I thought DC attempted to revive it. I can liken it to pre-Underground NFS, racing exotic cars in meticulously detailed environments.

Oh, and it would also be available for PC and Xbox One, now that Evolution is now a developer for a third-party.

PSVR is already sold out so doubt you'd be able to find one close to launch.

I am getting PSVR next month and will probably only play DCVR for the time being. I expect it to be awesome, but also that the VR equipment will be collecting dust a year from now, or until GT Sport releases with a VR option.

Driveclub has 84 tracks. In DC VR are CONFIRMED 114 tracks! We´ll have 30 new tracks in update for original Driveclub. Every location will may have 6 versions of city track. Sorry my English. https://postimg.org/image/r97s2znkz/

Indeed, I was wondering if we'd get a pack of variants per location, but I didn't want to get my hopes up - I mean, I was already happy with one extra urban circuit for each of the remaining five locations, but now this has been confirmed, I'm very happy indeed :D

I have a question if someone has played recently do you get sometimes the cars to steer left for a slight second all byitself sometimes?

I had something similar in Watch Dogs that the character would turn around and start walking toward me if left alone - turns out that the left stick was shot and so was constantly trying to turn him around - maybe not the same thing as you are experiencing, but maybe worth looking into.

EDIT: unless of course you are in a hyper car and accidentally have hardcore mode set on so that it kicks out at launch ;)

No, mayby lightly broken Dualshock?

could be my DS4 acting up, but didn't really notice it in any game.

Thanks all.
